That's amazing! I can definitely live with that trim jobI used mine on last harvest.
It made it lot easier for the not huge cola type buds.
Going to soak all that fell off[ crystals and sugar leaves] in everclear for a nice tincture.
This is the one I got.
It came with blades for wet and a wire for dry.
I have only used the wire so far.
Here is what I got from being gentle;

I guess you could tumble the kief and sugar leaves and get good results.also about the kif that falls, that was going to be my follow-up question because I make mostly hashish

yes that part should turn so the blade can spin and trim the buds. Almost looks like theres a piece of black plastic around it, or its just early and I dont have my glasses on. Try to take a pair of vice grips and turn that sucker it might just be stuckMight be having a problem with my new trimmer
This is the part that sits Above
the bowl
When the top is on, the screw in the picture will not turn, it will not budge
I'm guessing it's supposed to turn to spin the blades underneath
Is that correct?

Looked it up on YouTube saw how they work, definitely needs to spin, before I send it back is there anything that I'm not seeing, a lock or anything I'm not seeing?Might be having a problem with my new trimmer
This is the part that sits Above
the bowl
The handle spins the top rubber fingers freely
But when the top is on, the screw in the picture will not turn, it will not budge, the handle will not turn
I'm guessing it's supposed to turn to spin the blades underneath
Is that correct?

I'm not the most mechanical guy in the world but I did have a couple of technical state licenses so I'm pretty sure that there's something wrong in the hubs mechanism
it's already boxed up & ready to go back, oh well![]()
Update: I put a socket wrench on it and it eventually broke it loose, seems to be working properly now, thanks for the inputI did it will not budge at all, frozen solid.

Are the straight blades for wet trim and the serrated blade for dry trim?
There's no directions with it at all, so I have to ask these dumb questions![]()
You can remove the blades and install the wires by themselves.
I don't use this for my large/cola buds.Your don’t worry about breaking trichs with those things? Just curious I’ve never used
Thank you still learning. Have a small grow and just grabbed 2 trim trays lol. Good to know when I decide to expand!Yea that spins bottom. Your past that now.
- Replaceable Blades: The blades of the bud leaf trimmer can be replaced. When pruning dry or wet plants, the corresponding cutting blades can be replaced to meet the needs of different plant types. The straight blade is designed for wet plant pruning, the serrated blade is used for dry pruning, and the wire "X" blade is used for semi-dry plants.
You can remove the blades and install the wires by themselves.
That is the only way I have run.
I always dry trim or atleast partial dry.
I hang plants before tumbling them.
I don't use this for my large/cola buds.
I only install a few buds at a time also to have control.
All the trichs and sugar leaves fall into bowl that I make alcohol extract with~!
If I only had 3-4 plants I might struggle through with the electric scissors and hand trimming but I have maff issues~!
