You must be a non-stop ball of energy. I don't know how you fit everything in and get so much accomplished. Looking forward to seeing where you go with the system. Thanks for the great show.

Do you like halibut? I love it and would like to figure out the right time to catch a restaurant preparing some that is freshly caught. I'll be out there next month. Any chance the timing of the trip could be a good time to hunt up a good restaurant for fresh halibut? Or, does it even matter? I haven't tried to look up anything about commercial seasons for halibut, yet. Just guessing there might be a best time to order halibut like there is for some other species.

Nah man , I'm the guy with 4-5 half done projects ....my goal this week was get the big plants out of the house and get that reefer cut....done....

I have no idea how, what, when..Goal: get to the veg light cycle ✔️
I like this purple Diesel Haze plant.....20250911_021955.jpg

Running very low light power until they get transitioned a little more

We luv halibut IMO it's fish steak and it's the least of the full freezers I have .!
Yeah man the local Indian tribe just started there commercial season last week, so there's a very good chance some of them restaurants should have fresh halibut.
BIG difference in fresh cooked! ....over sitting frozen....most cannot tell the difference.
I don't order fish anywhere, I buy it frozen ,;;; check that, I did buy it frozen only if I looked it over.....
I don't guess on sea food!

Where you going to?

Idk man... phone service was wonky and I was going back and forth between the phone and laptop...all good
Oh i thought "buds shot" meant something bad happened.

Glad it's all good, i was worried!

That one fish....what is that flounder?

Damn thing is making me laugh so hard this morning!

You gonna do any crabbing? Set some pots for that PNW gold?
My grandpa ran operations very similar to your rig and did guide work off the Lost Coast up in NorCal. Salmon and lots of crab and even clams. Did a ton of digging for clam on barrier islands.
Abalone too but that may be illegal today or very limited. Prying those fuckers off rocks during low tide at 4am was uh...something that's for sure.

Looking forward to seeing how you handle that ebb and grow system. Those things grow trees!🌴
Yes....I forgot about this....

This is me, but I'm not squeezing in any fishing. You win, lol.

I like halibut too, but have only done had the frozen store bought stuff. It's been a minor goal to catch a decent restaurant when fresh halibut is in season.
Where you going to?
Vancouver again. Thought I might be going to Toledo, OR this month, but that didn't pan out. I don't really love work travel, but did want to check out that part of OR.

I don't spend much time South but I'm sure that there's going to be something around the coast there that's got something fresh.
Vancouver down there by the Columbia where they do the sturgeon fishing...... I'd like to do that, never know that, should probably do that.....

Where you going to?

i've been meaning to ask you, how many in this round are seeds versus clones? or are they all new seeds?

Good question.. they're all seeds in there now, I'm trying to get the other 2 cherries big so I can run those same 4 in the system.
I've got 5 clones waiting for me to make up my mind, two cherries, two vortex, one purple Diesel Haze.
I'm going to stick those two super boofs and no self-watering 7 gallons. They'll be the first ones in flower or flower setup
The one ethos plant is just in there to veg, and to be out of my way right now.

We'll probably going to take some more cuttings, I'm going to have to do some scissor work to these plants before anything, so might as well. And I know I'm not done playing with that little diesel plant yet, so I'm going to take some cuttings of it for sure

4 didn't strains (New), new system, no clue.....newish.... 🤨

It's going to be a shit show...😬

thats about a good a price as any that i seen so not getting ripped off. i'm kinda shocked to see how pricey the replacement probes got. i'm wondering if those aprea probes that Ninja is using would work worth our bluelabs. i'll probably be trying one when mine fails..

here's something that would go great with that new monitor... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GG9C16U
keeping the probes clean will extend their life to maximum. i clean mine the 1st of every month.. probably overkill but it only takes a few minutes of time.
Definitely wanna keep em clean and up with maintenance, and theyll last.

and keep KCI in the cap

I recal my BL pH 1/month

You'll be fine man!
Did they precut the tubing for your system or give you a spool to cut to your own length?
I prefer to cut my own but just depends if you can do the cookie cut version or a custom fit for your tent.

Highly recommend build it outside and run it outdoors in a mock up for at least 24 hours to find any leaks, malfunctions, or overflow problems.
Zip ties on all tubing connections is a good idea after room installation.
Quick disconnects and shutoff valves can be your friend during a problem and post grow clean up but those are aftermarket additions.

Common capacity ratio is 3 gallons of water for every 1 gallon of medium.

They never include shut off valves but as you go, you may find this system can do awesome shit when plants are in rows and each row has a shut off.
My best runs were with similar plants together in their own row and each row had it's own flood time and cycle so one row may get flooded 1x per day while another heavy drinking row got flooded 4x per day.
The world is your oyster with these system. They can be either hydro, soilless, or an automated watering system for soils. Only constant is the plant sites need to be level with the controller then that fucker can be trained into a dancing bear system capable of almost anything

Oh yeah.....I like that about this system, "that" I can run multiple scenarios. I don't plan on doing anything super fancy until I get used to playing with it. One thing that really really an excited about playing with is temperature control!...
I believe I believe.. that the vpders will love that...🤨😬.. sorry....
No but really playing with temperature is really gonna be the cats ass!...

I'm gonna set it up in here now that it's opened up...space I mean .. and test everything

Don't look at the carpet, the stains were already there.... And I'll leave these here....

I was going to run that Strawberry Fields at first, but I do believe with this system and running a first run with it I do believe I want to take out the soil amendments as an equation for fuck ups!* getting it used to the way I want at that time .
Sould be fun.
..thanks brother...

Forgot...I haven't seen the inside of the boxes yet.
So for hose length..idk. but but, it will be modified for everything that needs it
