Great White Shark Attack

hey ganja fans!!

i'm wasting no time and getting another round started right now and this is the begining of the journey!!

here's all the skinny and a great song that describes how i got this far...


the lights:

two(2) California Light Works Solarsystem 550 programable spectrum LED (1st gen)
currently set to 30% power and thin on the reds.. week 1 day 1



the setup:

a DIY two plant site 25 gallon RDWC hydroponic system with a 30 gallon top off barrel and automated level float. pH is controlled by a bluelabs doser and air is supplied from an alita air pump. also a heater and chiller depending on what is needed.

this is also a SCROG setup using a wire screen table that is 42" x 35" the screen will be lowered later on when flipped to flower.



the nutrients:

I'll be using the GH trio lineup and supporting additives. i will not be using the floralicious after this, i'm just out of Mr. Humic and will have more in a couple days. here's what i used and the recipe right now.. lower is at 200ppm and upper is 240ppm. when i say lower i mean my rez and when i say upper i mean my top off barrel.



the genetics:

two clones of Great White Shark.

the start:

here they are at the beginning on the first day with their baby shark roots!!!!!!



I'll post photos of their progress along the way and fill the rest in with a whole lotta fluff, fun, and food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was hoping there would be shark jokes!!!!

i pretty much chose these clones because of the artwork.. my choices were these, fruity pebbles, and Roswell Code that SSHZ gifted me. he said he wasn't impressed with the flavor at all and said he would never grow it again and he likes some of the same strains i do so i took his recommendations on it and steered away. the structure on the plants well favored a scrog better though.

the fruity pebbles clones i still have, we can swap em out if ya want? i'll do it.. hell i changed the title of the last thread four times till i hit a winner!! hahaha i'm just joking.. but seriously i;ll do it!!! the leca balls are kinda like fruity pebbles!! hahaha...

shark tales #1 .. left shark was a little droopy today.. i hand top watered her today and few hours later she picked he leaf back off the lid so i'll probably do this a couple times a day for couple days till the roots take hold.

up until now i have never heard the baby shark song... i've heard it's terrorized parents!! i can understand why!!!!

i like when drivers get bits in movies!! my favorite has got to be Earnhardt in baseketball!! hahaha

almost a week in and no issues. i haven't really done anything other than raise the water level. the roots were taking their sweet ol time so i raised up the water level and in a day and a half they responded!! as they grow i'll slowly pour it back into the top off barrel.

once they shift into second gear i'm going to top them.. a few days at most. clones don't play games!



hoping i don't need to add any heat.. cabinet is sealed and it's getting up to 74°. i could turn the fan on and draw heat from the dark side cabinet but i have the rh at 40% in there and 60% in this cabinet.. btw, i need a new name for this cabinet.. dagabah just doesn't fit the shark theme..
