been meaning to make some tea... just got lazy! ecowitt says i need to water only two and the rest can wait a day. i'll try to give just them two some water to hold em over and get out my brewer and load it up!! it will prolly be a light feed though, some lobster and sugar most likely..
but remember last run when i said all i wanted was a good A to B run.. it wasn't but man this one sure has been!! easy, error free, and just fun!!

I really like it, doesn’t hurt it cool too. Looks like the heart of the flux capacitor in back to the future.
I’d be making teas more often just to play with it.

It belongs on the "Oddly satisfying" sub on reddit.
It's a collection of videos of things like a field being perfectly mowed and stuff like that. Seeing that swirl and mixing gives that oddly satisfying vibe, being able to watch it and it kinda soothes the brain.
Plus, it's just a really baddass tea brewer
How's the new furnace working out?
I figure Y'all must be ass deep in snow with your nuts so far up you call 'em chestnuts this time of year so that new furnace must be doing it's thing!

this is my version 2.0... the first one was a round trash can with a lid but the bottom wasn't conical like the water jug.. that conical bottom is the performer of the show right there!!!!!
if there is any tip i can gives it's use furniture grade pvc. the thin walls allows for more flow and you can get a four-way tee for the bottom. my version 1.0 used two 3-way tees and it was not as good.

thats actually the bottom of the inside of the fitting your seeing in the center, it spins that good that it puts a channel of oxygen all the way down the jug...

so far so good on the furnace. i had to adjust the air intake and output a little because this new furnace as a more powerful fan in it. it was just some minor vent adjusting is all.
i had a problem with my flare connection on the copper line going in. it was older and brittle i think and i tried a few times before i just gave up and put a brand new piece on. besides a new furnace deserves a new copper line anyway...
tis furnace has a viewing window in it so i can see the fire!!!
just got a delivery of oil a couple days ago too so with max pressure the flare line is still not leaking so i think i finally got this one all finished and i can put the cover back on. (in a few days, just to be sure!!) haha

What size pump are you using Stoney? I like to try to accomplish that Spyro mixing affect. The new pump I bought I thought was big enough but apparently it's not at 400 gpm?
Or is it placement of said pump?

it's actually just an air pump...
the air lines split and run p over the top of each tube on the sides then i have a fitting below the water level in the tubes and the air pressure sends the water up and out of the tube and through elbows on the inside to make it spin...
i know, this really doesn't help your question.... sorry!!

I really want to give this Humboldt secrets a good chance for me to see how it will work ina scheduled feeding scenario.
I know I want to keep it moving. Maybe I'll get a air pump and see what I can put, I may be restricted to what I can use in this particular reservoir......

i had no problems keeping my top off barrel mixed up well with just air, i still use it to this day. i even ran that swampy nova stuff for a while and it kept it from settling.
i use a 2" round ball airstone.. if you tee up two of them it's gets pretty turbulent...

I kinda fumbled my redemptions not realizing they were going to slow play the drops this year.
Now I know and will be prepared for next season.
I ended up with COTA tix and a lot of merch.
When I grabbed the tix my intention was to also get tix to Texas but they were gone.
So after the botched check ins and coming up short of 15K, not getting the tix for Texas when I saw them was my second mistake.
Got another water bottle and glad I did because this year's bottle is way better than last. Few golf towels and other stuff then cashed in the last of what I had on a bunch of diecast sweepstakes entries. I have 21 points as of today
All the merch I got will come in very handy at the track..water bottle, seat cushion, towels were all things we coulda used at past races.
Other than the amazon card I probably woulda gone for the fanatics card or walmart. The food joints are okay but amazon and walmart or the most useful.

yeah i kinda hosed it up too man.. i was all into collecting the points way more than spending the points. kinda messed up a little on that one. last year that gift card was so easy to get i figured it would be that way again. i can at least now see it in the list but can't add it to the cart.
i did grab some of the merch i wanted though. i got that BBQ set you got last year, i got a bag, a towel, sunglasses, there was no bottle left by time i got around to it and the t shirts were only in small. i was so close to just spending my points on one of the experience deals and try to put it in your name, thought maybe if you were at the track maybe get to use it.. i didn't know.. i'm now sitting on 8K left in points so if i cant get a gift card i'll spend them on the diecast raffle as well...
i'm not upset about any of it.. i had fun doing the checkins and trivia. plus to be honest i'm still riding a high from the 5 team wining the championship. just the other day i watched the last five laps and overtime again!!! it's kinda what makes the raiders not sting so bad!!!

Been following since this morning and it has to be one of the most tragic stories of the year. He became instant hero for so many over the Summer flying his helo in to areas of NC nobody could get to after the hurricane. I remember watching that and thinking NASCAR dudes just get it. Class act and every bit of hero.

i haven't read the article yet, my mom read it to me today. such an awesome fun guy.
he just oozed class!!! respect, class, loyalty, friendly, giving, and just a stand up man are the things that come to mind when i think of the Biff.
just one of those sports figures where you go wow what an awesome role model and by the way he drives race cars!!!! his humanity seemed to outshine his racing stardom!! and he was pretty freakin good racer so that says a lot!!!!!
his kids that died with them were very young i think. i was told there were seven people that lost their lives in the crash. you just never know when your ticket is up.. gotta live every moment like it's the last.
just very sad and unfair.

update time...
i haven't done much at all with this crop and i recently did some stuff so i figured i'd post it..
so wednesday morning i fed them, second time now. 1st time was the tea this time i just scratched in about three tablespoons of greengro.. and added 1/4 teaspoon of the B-Bloomz to each gallon of water. each plant got about two gallons.. some got 1-1/2.. some got 2-1/2..
a side note... these little skunk plants are drinking like sailors!!! a day in a half and two gallons are gone!! and they're the two shorties on the right!!!
i noticed just today they all turned on the stank switch!!!!!!!!!! i mean foul!!!!!!!!!!!! gag a maggot kind of stench!!!!! luv's it!!
the plants and some bud shots....
and one final note is i moved the timer back an hour so now on 11/13. just nearing the end of week six of flowering. my next feeding will include beastie bloomz and greengro flower finisher. OH and i forgot to mention the sugar.. i gave them all natures brix from greengro as well. they'll get more of this on every watering.

yes sir, before i switched to these led's i grew with two philips LEC vertical bulbs and used 10/14 exclusively for years. for the life of me i can't remember why i even went to 12/12.. Bandit just recently reminded me of the shorter schedule and the savings.. i plan to move this crop to 10/14 in a week or so. starting week 8 prolly...
i was thinking of maybe putting those lights back in for a grow next round... if i do that i should put that turntable back in and make it spin roundy round again!!!!! with the movement i can slam those hot light right on the plants and not burn anything.. get every single photon possible!!!!

I swear.. Manson is the greatest tribute/cover artist there is. He's got some bangers that are leaps and bounds better than the original. Tainted Love, Sweet Dreams, Personal Jesus... just so many. I'd almost rank his "God's gonna cut 'em down" up there pretty fuckin high, but maybe not as good as the original.
There's only one song that I think was remade better than some of Manson's... In the Air Tonight by Nonpoit. They fucking killed that song and Phil Collins is a douche.

My timeline with MM is kinda nuts...started way back in 90 or 91 at Lollapalooza. Went to the first festival to see Jane's Addiction and not knowing who they were, saw Nine Inch Nails for the first time and NIN absolutely stole the show and shoulda been the headliner with that set.
Several years later NIN is on the Downward Spiral tour and MM was opening for them. Never heard of MM before that and IDK how but they stole the show from NIN that night. It was before the Beautiful People album and was still doing stuff off Lunchbox. Holy crap to this day I've never seen a band rock as hard or loud as MM that night.
Hated seeing him and his band drug thru the slop after Columbine. Then later the abuse stuff which I find as I get older there's a lot of people who I would probably despise if I knew them personally but admire them professionally. He's one of those people and that will never stop me from rocking out to his music
