I wish I'd learned about this stuff sooner. I'm not sure I'd have the luxury of being able to have a sealed room, therefore, if I were to use CO2, it'd have to be in an unsealed environment. How does one even go about dispersing CO2 on top of the plants with an active exhaust fan running?

And could I run CO2 inside of my 2x4 tent being powered by the 300watt mars hydro tsl2000? Like maybe not CO2 canisters, but like fermentation or some other method?

First step is to probably get a CO2 monitor, Inkbird makes a nice one and it's not too expensive, then know what you're dealing with in regards to ambient co2 levels in your grow space.
Once you know ambient levels then you can make choices on if more is needed or it's good as-is.
Everything in your home will play a role in an unsealed room. Square footage, people, pets, & gas appliances will all have an effect.

Ready to drop $40 a week or so after initial investment?
I have 20lb tanks, cheap $50 regulator and the Inkbird controller @Bandit420 mentions.
My room is 5X20X7 and sealed pretty well.
A bottle a week is how it flows to come close to 1200.
I will drop two bottles per grow during flower.
My room is at 2-3 weeks flower and it is almost time to turn it on.

My advice to you would be to look to other skills to improve your yields. CO² can be costly to setup and the improved yields may not be worth the effort in a tent. In a fixed, sealed room maybe but in a tent I would look to really nailing the basics then moving to more advanced techniques. CO² would be my choice once I've maxed every other way of improving my grows.

and this,

all sounds like some really advanced shit, sealed rooms n what not. I'm way in over my head lol.

I'm gonna take your guys' advice and invest in room temperature devices (heating & cooling) instead.

You’ll b fine without it mate..you don’t need it.less is more.running co2 is more for the experieneed grower in a sealed room that’s on top of there game and want to push there plants harder.I’ll never use it..I’m quite content how my girls come out so I don’t need to chase for that little bit more..just concentrate on the basics and get that room all dialed in as close as you can 🙂
