I invented a new cold weather hot drink my wife has called "The reason I married you"
I'm calling it Crossing The Alps and it's a 50/50 mix if Swiss mocha and French vanilla instant coffee mixes and sometimes I toss a dash of cinnamon or cayenne on top.

They're on the Grateful Dead feeding routine of Reds, Vitamin C, and Cocaine.

Not sure about the raptor claw leaves but it's isolated in leaves that are on the colas while every other leaf is fairly normal that's not on a cola.

These plants are bloated and loaded. Some plants I've grown in organics are more like track athletes being lean and fit.
These fat fucks are a bunch of couch potatoes stuffing their pieholes with a hydroponic buffet every day.
Totally full on water and food and with the saturation of photons, are really packing on the size and weight we all love to see in flowers.
They're getting nice and greezy too but I gotta get on a stepladder to get up close to get those trich shots this week since they're as tall as they are fat.

Here's a full body shot where those body leaves are flat yet heavy while those cola leaves are raptor claws for the most part.
Bud rot prevention is in full effect with every fan in the room turned on. These are the times where having 8 air movers and strong trellis support comes into play. Some thought 8 fans was excessive and it is. Until it isn't

I could use fewer limitations and better long run quality from ACI gear but for the most part, am getting what I need from tent equipment in a room space.
One of my gen2 fans is already having a very tight limit on oscillation moving only maybe two inches left to right and not the full swing.
I'm limited on 67 controller functions and the AI features of the AI controller cannot really be applied here but it does have several other very useful features which is why I got it. Conditions change from day to day and the AI locks stuff in that needs to be fully adjustable day to day and even sometimes, hour by hour in this room.

Maybe it's time I go into this though since I really never have. Growing here is just unique I suppose and some things I have to do to grow are different and priorities have to be made.
Temp control is valued much more than RH or VPD here unless it's hydro then RH creeps up more into a priority. Air flow thru the canopy is valued much more than any threat of wind burn or forcing a cola to lean and fall over. Basically, whatever can kill a crop or cause massive dead loss at harvest gets top priority. VPD out of range or wind burn has yet to kill a crop on me so y'all may understand my logic there.

Ambient in room is around 75*F & 65% RH without any control this time of year. If it was soil, that RH would be around 55% but when I grow hydro or SIP, the method is worth an automatic 10-15% rise in RH due to the rapid and constant transpiration..

Echo10 is showing me the outside air is 82 and 39%RH. Since I'm pretty much trying to replicate a Fall season in the mountains of Afghanistan, that is some excellent weather to bring in and wash over my plants.

Skynet is showing temps and RH in both the room and canopy and both are near identical but they're too cool and too humid for that Afghani weather. All these fans and controllers etc have one job and that to get that desirable weather outside to come in for a very rapid total exchange of air



This is all the shit I've had to do to make that good air happen
The black wall is actually a boarded up window with an window unit AC, fresh air intake, and electrical intake carved into it.
The fresh air comes in and runs thru the filter box, pulled in by a sixer, and washed out in a changing location depending on time of year and stage of grow.
Right now I want that warm dry air washing over the colas so it's in a spot to be picked up by the air movers



Every fan has a certain job.
The top fan here is moving hot air off the LED.
The center fan is on the colas and the bottom fan is on the middle canopy.
The orbital is a lights on only fan and does a 360 oscialltion thru the lower and middle canopy



On the opposite wall are four more fans...Two on the bed, one on upper middle canopy, one to move warm air off the lights




Near the entrance of the room is the unsung hero of every grow for the past decade preventing bud rot, moving ambient home co2 into the room, and keeping things tolerable for an indoor garden. No controller needed



And across the way, even the drying tent fan is turned around and helping out




When they get this thick the danger of bud rot skyrockets on me so I want warmish air blowing over them during lights on and like Afghanistan mountains, get a little chilly and very low RH during lights off. 60*F and 25-30% RH during lights off would be very welcomed right now and about an 82-88 temp and 40% RH during lights on

Once upon a time those dudes had little cans of Alamo beer but no way I wasn't gonna lose them so they're long gone, probably in a vacuum cleaner bag from years ago..
Never even thought about printing bongs for the fellas!!! How about a hookah and they all get an hose hahaha!

I tend to not concern myself with things that don't mess with the haul at the end. Raptor leaves kinda fall into that box.
I've seen it on outdoor plants too. I've seen people try to correct it to little or no avail and sometimes cause another issue trying to fix it so I let it go.
I think it's one or a combo of factors....a loaded and bloated plant full of water and food but not too waterlogged and not so much food it burns leaves.
A phenom of flowering and a simple trait of DNA that just happens much like stretch in many genetics and is unavoidable.
High pH, high humidity and probably a few others but it's hard to pin down because one of these may be in check while another is not so the raptor claws still happen.
But that's where I get in the mindset of flowering and TBH, really don't give much of a shit about the leaves other than them being the gas tanks to fill flower production at this stage.
I'm pretty sure they've stopped all veg growth and everything is being sent to flowers. Stretch is done, actually starting to recede height an inch or two with the weight gain and some leaves are depleting energy ready to be plucked away. The downward spiral has begun for all except the runt who still seems to be two weeks slower than the rest.

Man I don't think I'm gonna get the points I need to hit 15K. I saw a rumor the garage experiences will go up to 20K but nobody really knows for sure and just trying to be a Nostradamus. Trivia is still going and now if I wait until almost the end I'm still like a measly 24 points short. Black Friday is the only thing I can hope for there but free tix to two races aint a bad consolation prize either.

My bad luck with the Peak Pro continues man. So frustrating and if they don't give me a new one, I'm done with the Pro model.
It's not that it's junk or anything but it seems either too fragile or I just have very bad luck with it. A tiny drop of water in the battery port killed my first one and this one IDK but the bowl connector has gone bad/loose. Dab count was only 469 so it's damn near still new!
While I wait to hear back from Puffco I've gone in another direction. I almost got the same older Peak model you have since it seems to be sturdy and reliable for you but decided to go with Bomb and get an extra topper and fidget spinner carb cap for it.
I think it does everything the Peak can do but doesn't use an app and doesn't have the light show. Any temp from 0-700 is available and it uses an atomizer very similar to puffco

3rd straight day of RH climbing to 70%+ and the dehuey can't get here soon enough.
Will have to sit for 24 hours before I can run it so even more time to wait.
I can exhaust at 600CFM, intake with 40%RH air at 450cfm, and still they transpire so much water the exchange has little to no effect this garden saturates the air so much. Uptake is an ez 4 gallons per day during this swell.
The dehuey will work among the plants, almost scrubbing the air of moisture and recycling the warm dry air into the canopy.

It's seems I've found the threshold on light heat output vs room temp. The temp the heat from lights goes from being a detriment to an enhancement and it's actually kinda high, in the low to mid 80s for me.
Above 85, the lighting heat just piles on and adds heat stress.
At 80, the heat output really has no effect to raise temps but keeps them in line.
Below 80, the light heat is working as a heater and almost can't get hot enough.
That area where it can't get warm enough is where the dehuey may help as well since the machine will warm the air to dry it out..

I haven;t seen anybody discuss Grease yet so I suppose I'll be the first to open this can of worms.

They came onto my radar over the Summer with what seems to be a different approach to nutes and feeding. Locals are loving the stuff so far.
I'm gonna baby step this one since I really like Cultivation Nation and have no need to change but a sativa specific food has my curiosity.

Like many terp and cannabinoid supplements, the Bembe I'm using has sulfur from a salt sulfate. Some terp boosters use potash and some use a mag but it's always a salt and sulfur is kind of a +1to it.
Well I want sulfur without the potash and that's a very hard find. IDK what nano sulfur is but I'd like to try it as a sweetener/terp booster instead the common hit and miss products I've already tried out.
The first product I've ordered and will try from Grease is Golden Gun. It's a nano sulfur supplement I plan to use in combination with Bembe as I finish out this grow in coming weeks.
This source of sulfur could also be a sort of fungicide and perhaps offer some bud rot prevention as it's taken up into the flowers?
I'll also be deploying the UV very soon.
It will be hard to pinpoint any direct enhancement from Bembe, Golden Gun, or UV because this is an all hands on deck sorta deal where I empty the tool box to get this crop to harvest in the best possible condition, highest terp load, and potency I can get out of it.

In other new biz, I grabbed Atomic Northern Lights from that Halloween sale.
It looks like the acronym for this cut will have to be ANL. So I have Stinky Pink and now, ANL.
The next grow is gonna be all kinds of naughty with innuendo

It's an amazon buy so ez returns and pretty much a 60 day window to test drive it.
I think this will work but we'll see.
Like many things, I'm not going to be using it the way it's intended to be used. The tent configuration they describe doesn't apply here. I'm not taking air from another space and removing water. Instead, I'm scrubbing the air already there and removing it's water.
I need to pull at least 10% out of the air but would love to see up to 20-30% the closer I get to harvest.

Seems ACI & SF may be the only grower dehueys worth the attempt. Many on amazon were fine for a pantry or basement but had bad reviews from growers.
Growing in soil was a nice luxury away from high RH. It's been so long since I've ran a hydro or SIP indoors I had forgotten all about those old battles with RH.
It's not the large tanks of water or the rez either. There's zero evap and loss there. It's all plant transpiration, turning my dry desert mountain like air into a tropical jungle like environment

Yeah I know, I thought I was going to need one sooner than what I did, mine was acting a little wonky there for a day or two.
And with the constant flow air, this always gets tricky 85% RH outside right now it's raining been raining for 3 days
(I know that's not your problem with what you're trying to do)
That dehumidifier is probably going to be fine for that application.

The other outfit got one like the one I ordered from my ACI just to small......

I had two 300g containers I used to make a liquid sulphur I can use much easier. It’s also the first step to making JADAM sulphur.

I’ve noticed over the last three years most stores aren’t carrying it anymore, don’t know why? I assumed supply issues at first. But it’s been months. I like to have the powder as backup.

Rona has a new bottle from Safer’s now.

I have to have 2 dehues running on turbo constantly to keep my RH down in flower. They finely have it down to 30% as I'm down to my last 2 plants harvesting. I shut 1 down this am. If Spiderfarmer can use ducts to draw out the humidity from inside a tent then why can't ?

I'm using both in my basement but 1 could with be used with a duct off my dehue, intake into the tent...??? No???? are not all dehues built basically the same way? SF didn't reinvent they just added a duct system??? Yes...??..I'm trying to dehue from the outside in, it would probably work better inside out....good talk...

I have had a re occurring concussion lately and my brain hasn't been working right so my confidence in everything is shot. I get some hair brained idea's without this brain fog but with it I can be dangerous. I had 2 whacks on the head in the last 2 months, both times the same spot, right temple, shook them both off, a bit woozy but hey I'm male I've been knocked out a bunch in my life, always a day or 2 recovery but 3 weeks to a month after the last whack I get all weird in the head, can't think,headaches, pressure, slow speaking almost nauseous at times. Talk to Dr, yep concussion I came home and googled, I hit all the check marks, he wasn't wrong...

Yes I can get that stuff almost anywhere. It's meant to be used kinda like a foliar spray then the pellet version can be burned and used in a greenhouse.

I'm looking for a highly concentrated and refined version that can be taken up by roots.
I was hoping to find it at NPK Industries since they specialize in isolated additives but they don't have what I'm looking for.

Haven't checks Kelp 4 Less yet but Grease was pretty much a holy shit I can't believe this exists sorta find.
The ingredients are 50% Nano Sulfur + 49% RO water + 1% Gold Label. Gold Label also has hemp derived cannabinoids in it.
In a way, I'll be using hemp to feed cannabis! IMO that's cool AF and why I'm pursing this path.

The duct attachment was what set it above a few other options because it gives me a way to direct it's output.
I can always 3D print an adapter but having it and a 6" duct included makes it ez.
Some reviews say you can't see the display with the duct attached but that's user error...Those people have the duct adapter on backwards. I can see the display very well with the adapter on the correct way.

Yeah all active dehuey's pretty much use the same technology, just different sizes of it. Passive just uses silica beads.
Where they differ is usually how they drain, either hose or canister and capacity.
This one is fairly no frills other than the duct attachment.
I think the settings move 5% and goes as low as 30%.
Only thing I don't like is that it does not turn back on if a timer or controller is used with it.
Due to that, using the SF app or controller makes no sense so they really dropped the ball on that IMO.
I planned on using an ACI plug with it and set the plug trigger according to RH but if the controller shuts the dehuey off at the plug, it wont come back on unless I press the power button. So I'm just gonna have to go manual with it's control.

That SF dehumidifier has a corded sensor that has something to do with something.... And it's got a nice hard plastic duct.
My understanding that it's pulls air from the lung room dries it and puts it in the tent, and works in conjunction with the ventilation to pull it back out again that's what I was described to.... I'd be worried about adding air pressure and ventilation.
I suppose I'd be the case in any event with any dehumidifier internal...

Now what they're calling a lung room is my shop with a room built in it. Probably a lot like your basement just above the ground as far as RH percentages go

I'm tracking this sumbitch too with RH isolated on the pulse.
Almost an immediate impact and making that RH look like it's fallen of a cliff on this graph.
I have the Dehuey set for 30%, as low as it can go so I'll see if it can take 70% down to 30%. Anything lower than 50 is fine but those 40 and 30s bring the xtra frost
At 2:15 RH was mid 70s and in 45 minutes had already taken it down to 63 and still dropping as I type. Looks like it's falling 1% every 5 minutes so if my math is mathing I think it can drop 10% for every hour it's on for me
