I'll have my meters set up soon enough and will be able to test the ph and ppm of the well water.

I think it has something to do with all the limestone around here.

I watered the seedlings with spring water last night. Sunday or Monday, I plan to get everything plumbed. Another day to fill the RO resevoir. So around Monday or Tuesday, if there's still only 3 sprouts, I'm tossing them and starting over.

I start mine in a cup of dampened soil. I ph the water down to 5.9 to start my seedlings. As soon as they sprout, I up it to 6-6.2. We have a lot of limestone here too.

I've had great success starting them in grow-plugs. Just drop and water. Easy peasy.

Well I think I'm gonna toss these fellers so I've changed the thread name to reflect that. I finally got a 4th to pop maybe 2 days ago, but I want a great start, not a salty one with seedlings looking like they're in 4 different stages. So to the next strain I go. Plenty of beans in the roster, so I'm not gonna fret.

I have faith in Redbeard's beans so I'm gonna pop his Lemony Shiznitz instead. I got a freebie 4 pack and I trust that all 4 will sprout. I'll used bottled RO water with a dash of RapidStart. Hopefully I can get my RO system plumbed in today. I got a doghouse to build first.

That's a good looking beast.
I had a Lab/ Shepard mix that looked very similar as my first on my own dog in the 80's.
'Coach' was an awesome companion and protecter.

He's all Shepherd. I think 105lbs. Biggest wuss EVER.

Haha. I spoil my critters, and no. That door was pretty well useless with the ramp there, and I've got a best friend confined to his wheelchair so it stays. I put a doggy door in that door for the hounds. It was hard to find a happy medium for height considering that dog vs. my mini schnauzer

Hey shyooot.. I found a little T fitting while looking through all my crap. I broke a fitting for my pump and was digging for something to fit that and voilà.. I'm tapped into my water line headed to the fridge. It was a 5 minute hookup and it's not bolted to the wall and filling my drum. Hell yeah. Only took 10 minutes to get some RO goin'.
