I start mine in a cup of dampened soil. I ph the water down to 5.9 to start my seedlings. As soon as they sprout, I up it to 6-6.2. We have a lot of limestone here too.I'll have my meters set up soon enough and will be able to test the ph and ppm of the well water.
I think it has something to do with all the limestone around here.
I watered the seedlings with spring water last night. Sunday or Monday, I plan to get everything plumbed. Another day to fill the RO resevoir. So around Monday or Tuesday, if there's still only 3 sprouts, I'm tossing them and starting over.
