So it is time to start another grow thread.
Starting to pop seeds today and getting the room ready for it all.


Hopefully growing;
3 Frozen Black Cherry [ FBC] from @B2ACG
3 High Mars [HM] from B2ACG
3 Oregon Grapes [OG] from Capt. Redbeard.
I also have 4 clones of Tropicana Cherry from Stoneys Love shack.
These are about 4' tall now so I am not sure if I will clip new clones off them or grow these out.
More pics when room is cleaned up.

I'm going for 18 again, seems to be a good number in a 4x8, I did 8 fem strains and 2 reg strains for a total of 24 seeds, 16 fems/8 regs
No clones in this run either

first i wrote, it sounds like a anesia name... then i said oh look he wrote the abbreviations of the breeders.. not even seeing that was his label code... duh!!!

So here is the room info;
Room is 5x20 with 12' being lit and the rest as utility space with a 2x4x5 tall tent with a Mars TSL 2000 [ 300 watts].
2 32 gallon Brutes for water which is bubbled 24/7 with an Alita AL 6A air pump. BluMat Tropf watering system with small and large drip rings.
Running 2 Mars Hydro FC8000 that I cut in half to allow walking path in middle of room, and 2 Mars Hydro TSL 2000s.
2 6 inch AC infinity fans run off one controller. 1 intake and 1 output.
The room is equipped with an air conditioner/heater that is controlled by a InkBird.
Going to have to run my humidifier this time of year. Mine is old school 5 gallon evaporative not misting or ultrasonic.
Running a wall mount 16" oscillating Hurricane, a carpet/ floor fan and a 20 box fan. All 24/7.
I pH adjust my water which is 7.6 pH 350TDS.
Soil this time is a mix of Happy Frog and Ocean Forrest for the clones and probably the same for new ones.
Ferts are all Fox Farms. Fox Farm CalMag, Mr. Fluvic and Kelp me kelp you.
CO2 with an InkBird controller and may actually use it in flower this time if I don't muff this grow up.

I think the B2ACG seeds are Anesia. The add matched up word for word with Anesia links when he had them listed and I know he gets good breeders seeds from several sources. They are Anesia seed names.

So here is the room after cleaning with the clones;

^ Before up potting in 3g solid and air pots^

^After up potting into 5g buckets^

^ With the proverbial 4' T square for sizing^
Going to have to do something to/with these gals, they still have 4-6 weeks of 18/6.

The seeds have all sunk so I am moving them to the VG in a few minutes.
Fingers crossed they are up by Friday the 13th~!

Are you going to veg 18/6 those monsters 4-6 weeks longer? They will be beasts if so!

I don’t think my moms are that big typically!

So this morning I had one up in the VG so I moved it out to the room.
I had it in a Tupperware bowl with lid near my hot air register in the house. Just for easy viewing.
The room was 27% RH so I installed the humidifier and peeked at the VG this evening.
I will guess I have 9 out 9 tomorrow but will post up picks and progress then.

So this was yesterday.
8 out 9 up.
Today was same so I opened the VG up.
One Frozen Black Cherry had split and formed a tail and gone no further.
All were placed in solo cups with Happy Frog soil.
Hoping for 9-4-9 still.

In other news The clones have thrips~!
Could I have introduced them with the new soil?
They were not there before and noticeable spots and 'damage' are all on top newest leaves not the old growth.
Kind of pissed about this but will just do my best to spray before lights out and hope the seedlings are not effected.
Already have Spinosad, Smite and one other bug spray so I'll get to figuring it out.
Start with the spinosad and maybe some orange oil.

Dr zymes worked well for me on thrips if you have issues....better to use what ya got tho first

My kid broke into my little starter space and just had all these little Disney cars pieces shoved into my two solo cups that are sprouting my table seed shits...I think they'll be ok 1 hadn't broke ground and the other that did today still had a helmet head and looks like it'll pop back up just got pushed in a little...woes of sprouts

So I am not so desperate for weed to fight the battle with 4+' plants.
They are either getting chopped to clones [maybe 2-4 each] or I am just tossing them out in the cold.
My thought is a small clone may be able to be treated easier [ less territory to cover] but also, they may not like treatment at all.
This is a problem that this room never has had in the winter. I truly believe they got brought in with soil but also know after research that is a stretch.
The life cycle of thrips has the eggs only in soil for 2 days so it seems like a stretch?
With the progression I have seen in just 2 days these girls got to get dealt with today and the carcass and soil removed from the room.
I am not interested in a lengthy battle or using sprays in the room on the regular at all.
It also leaves me with the seedlings already in the room but possibly in a different soil?
The clones went in new Fox Farms Ocean Forrest and the seedlings are in Fox Farm Happy Frog.
Both from the same place so I have very little confidence one is safer than the other?

Maybe I should just remove the clones, spray the room and seedlings and watch along with start the 2 of each seeds I have left from the 3 I am starting now.

I all but swore off clones. Even my own.
If they were not LuvShack TC they would be gone already~!
I am afraid that is how this will end shortly.
Usually I freeze my room once before this grow time but with the clones I did not.
That being said and it being like 12f outside [ my room is not in my house it is in an unheated shop] I really wonder where the hell these came from.
No way I could have missed them all this time on the clones, that is just not possible.

maybe just take your seedlings in the house for a few days and nuke/freeze the grow room? i would... it's early december, you don't need a lingering bug issue for the winter.. trust me i know!

and you can take small cuttings and keep them in a dome safe from the seedlings.. even root them soilless..
