Hey y’all,

I really hate asking this question, mostly cause we have OUTSTANDING company’s we already deal with and treat us great, also I don’t like being that guy who asks the dreaded “what’s the best seed bank/ are these guys trustworthy questions especially when again we have good ones here..

However

I’m looking to do a medical grow for a friend who suffers from PTSD and constant muscle pain (from getting blown up) and has expressed an interest in trying something higher in CBD and I would appear none of our great sponsors deal in this realm (please correct me if I’m wrong).
I personally also suffer from anxiety and panic attacks and would like to rely less on Xanax and try something more “medical” I’m currently growing Pennywise for this specific reason.
If I get to high and have to switch to manual breathing that isn’t good 🤣🤣 and I’ve been known to Ralph from it🫤.

Specifically I’m currently looking at Critical Mango CBD and Critical Mass CBD currently. Both seem to have great reviews for these conditions while still having some “high” effects being 1 to 1 cbd to thc.

Pacific seed back carriers both and so dose growers choice. I’m willing to shop them out anywhere just wanna know I’m getting what I’m paying for.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for taking the time to read and respond.

IDK if they'll have those strains but I can vouch for the following USA based banks...

Great Lakes Genetics
Oregon Elite Seeds
Growers Choice Seeds
Greenpoint Seeds
Irie Direct

These are based in the UK and go thru customs which can and will intercept seeds. It's happened to me on three occasions so if you do buy from these, get guaranteed delivery on your shipping so they keep sending them until you get them

Seedsman
Attitude Seedbank
Nirvana seeds
Herbies Seeds

I cannot speak to the therapeutic effects of those strains, but I can throw my caution up there about Pacific Seed Bank.

Best I can tell, they have a big bowl of seeds on the desk of everything mixed together, and they just count out the number of seeds you ordered from the bowl and put them in a bag.

I've grown only 2 autos in my life. Both were supposedly photos and purchased from PSB. Putting auto seeds in a photo order seems like the worst kind of service to me. I'd rather they didn't germ.

FWIW, this is the only seed bank I call out by name for crap service. Even the ones that were photos did not resemble the breeder seeds I ordered. Mistakes happen. When it is the MO for your business tho - the only reason they still exist is because folks are not educated on the BS they pull.

Which o find total bullshit, the DEA recognizes seeds under hemp, which is federally legal, so why the fk are they taking my "hemp" seeds?!
Because seeds crossing borders are subject to inspection for invasive species. Not a cannabis or DEA thing

KNOWLEDGE ARTICLE
Because most countries have regulations to protect against agricultural pests and diseases as well as invasive species, you will probably need both a phytosanitary certificate and an import permit to take or send your seeds to another country. A Plant Protection and Quarantine Export Certification Specialist can assist you with the process of applying for both. To locate the specialist responsible for your region of the United States, please go to Plant Health Export Information and click the link for “Export Certification Specialists” in the middle of the page. Select your State from the dropdown menu.

Yeah I get it, it's just dumb lol. It's the same reason clones can't be shipped across the border.
Just another hoop for us to jump through.

If allbud is correct this may be a strain worth searching out...my buddy is growing this strain and I can't speak for the cut he is growing he has never had it tested. It came as a clone and the source is rather sketchy so who knows if he has a cut of this caliber or not...but when looking up shit on the strain the numbers jumped out at me. 30% thc and 11% CBD...that's the most CBD I've ever seen on something listed that high on THC

May be worth looking into for someone who likes to get stoned and may want CBD as well

It's a problem for real. I ship internationally all the time, and I even have to certify my pallets and have special stamps and monthly on site inspections so we are not shipping bugs in the wood internationally.

A perfect example of invasive seeds being a major catastrophe is Kudzu

Yeah, i know it's an issue, I'm just complaining about it lol.
I watch a lot of them border shows on TV and the dumb stuff people try to ship is incredible. Like animals hides filled with bugs 😳
We have enough invasive stuff here already so I get why they do what they do.
It's just a bummer we gotta jump through so many hoops still lol.

Agree.
My experience with those was pre farm bill and the only legal state was California. Around 2014-15 all of it changed with Michigan, Colorado, and Oregon going legal then US based seed banks sprouting up like weeds. I haven't bought from across the pond since then.
Not only was the green tape monster something to dread but waiting 2-3 weeks and seeing a tracking number stalled out in customs was such a PITA

I shipped the fish I bred to Hawaii.
The buyer had to have a permit to receive the fish and I had to place a copy of it in the box.
Every single box of mine was opened and inspected. It was guaranteed to happen.

The only breeder that I know that has bred, studies and produces strains with varying different degrees of cbd is Brother Mendel’s. He is atop of his game and one of the first that I went to, to help me with my Daughters seizures.
Tell him Michelle sent you!
