This is a thread for if you collect something other than cannabis seeds lol. My dad used to have a lot of junk he kept, odd stuff he may need in glass jars much like you see people storing nails and screws. My mom would bitch he would say they were his "collectibles"....so whether it be a true collection or just a random hoard...share something you collect that you find cool. I'll post up later I got my stuff stashed at my mom's house. Damn the irony, always mad at my dad now she stores my junk lmao

I've started collecting Vinyl again. I wish I had all my stuff from early in life, but there are lots of new pressings and garage sales are great for finding lost albums.

My buddy just scored an acdc album he says goes for around 300...

Any specific genres you collect for? When my mother in law passed my wife was mad as hell to find her original beatles vinyls gone, thinks the boyfriend stole them.

I like ACDC, Rush, Floyd, really any 70's 80's 90 rock bands. Actually I like current stuff too, have several Foo Fighters and stuff like that.

i also collect vinyl. another expensive hobby, though i'm not sure i can call it that since music is a massive part of mine and my family's lives. it's almost like a necessity at this point. spotify is great but nothing compares to how vinyl sounds.

Maybe the only glass I don’t collect. I have a friend that does tho. I ran an antique glass shop on eBay for about twelve years. I closed shop three years ago when eBay wanted control of our bank accounts. That was a big fat no for me, they made too many money mistakes on the reg.
This exposed me to auctions and auctions houses across the world. I sold several pieces to a museum in NY. Several of my pieces were commissioned by Replacements LTD.
My big passion is carnival glass Sabino glass and Stevens and Williams late 1800’s. I also have a major weakness for antique lamps.
My grand babies say my house looks like a museum, I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing!

You are putting magic in those babies minds! Images they'll hold dear to them in time! I fondly remember my uncles that amassed amazing collections, some of the neatest places to see, a trip through time

man, i've wanted an illadelph since i was in college. a buddy had one that had a rasta label. arguably one of the best hitting bongs i've ever experienced. can't find another like it to save my life, though. been looking for the better part of 15 years.

Can be dropped from a 10 story building and still hit like a champ. Maybe higher but was tested at 10. Rumor has it another one survived a 2000' fall from Mt Rainier and didn't even get a scratch.
Not sure if NEV is still around and taking orders though. They might've gone back to making carbon fiber airplane parts and making bongs was just a side hustle

Finally got to grabbing some picks of my collection and it don't show much of what I got besides totes. But I collect video game consoles 8bit and up, no atari intellivision or any of that stuff...I keep it a my mom's, I live in a floodplain and it would all have to be in my basement and get repacked if we flood....I think I'm just gonna make a chill spot in her basement for me and my kids to play duck hunt

The Corning museum of glass? That place is super cool, more like an art gallery than a museum with all the crazy pieces they have. We've found some cool old glass bottles in our river... crazy how many survive intact after years of being tossed around and ending up in a river.
