A little about my setup: 5x5 aci tent, mammoth mint 8 led, fallponics 4 13gal sites w hydroton, and the following aci products hooked up to a 69+ controller- 4 6" circulating fans, 6" exhaust fan, and a t7 humidifier.

Salutations all! Finally got up and running after a 6 month hiatus, stupid life stuff. Got 2 supafreak(1 of which was germed a week later than the rest,) Fryday and a First lady.
I tried my best to sanitize everything hoping that was my hermy problem(had a herm to begin w and never sanitized after.) Over the holiday break I will also try to install a blackout curtain for a window and a floor-ceiling curtain that'll partition the 2nd floor bedroom. I think my bluelab ph pen is on the fritz after 6 months of neglect, not sure if the gh flora nutes good anymore, filters on the ro should be replaced, and waiting on cal mag as well. That all said, the ladies r in the system.

I have not used GH but unless they are real old I would think they are still good.
Do you have a pressure gauge on your RO sytem?
It would indicate if your filters are getting clogged.
It is usually safe and cheap enough to change out the filters before the TFC canister[ the last most important part of filter/ Thin Film Composite].
The last filter should last a couple years especially with only using the system to water plants.
My RO made hundreds of gallons per week and the TFC lasted over two years before the pressure went up.
A TDS meter after the system also would be a good indicator of time to change.

13g should allow you to grow monsters.

Do you have any KCl storage solution? If it's acting out, it may have dried out a bit. Try giving it a good cleaning and rehydrating it with some KCl.

i've heard that the shelf life for most nutes and additives/supplements is a year.

I've personally used Orca that was 2+ years old. Mycos though so it's hard tonsay whether or not it worked, but no root rot. Finally replaced that bottle.

Man my filters are just sitting there talking shit. I've needed new filters for a while but still getting my water down to 20ppm so I haven't been in a rush and the new ones are just sitting in the box. I'll get to it.. I swear!

Sooo... I messed up lol I transplanted either the lady or the fryday badly and wasn't watching it so it shriveled up. 2 of the 3 were germed 24 days ago and the other 17 days ago. I don't want to go forth missing a site, wwyd? Germ out another seed or just germ another batch so they r all starting out on the same time line?

That's a tough call to make. I'd like to have some uniformity, but it'd be hard to pitch ones already in the system.
 
4 sure Azz, these r the times I hate pickles lol I'm trying to make a decision by the 25th. I'm leaning towards germing another set, w the VG I've been getting 99% success rate. This way they r all a bit closer to each other and I can give the whole root trimming a go on the existing ones. Then again, they all have different bloom times (freak = 7 wks, first 8-9, fryday 9-10.) I have another tent, just would need a light for it and could set up 2 dwc sites for 2 of the current seedlings. I dunno lol
 
Salutations all! Sooo.... this grow has been ick!!! Started out good getting a 100% germ w the seeds i wanted(VG.) I transplanted 1 wrong though so ended up w only 3 sites full. I also started out w/out calmag :( Didn't think that'd b too bad w seedlings though. W the germination success rate, I only did 1 other seed to fill out the tent. Turns out I didn't have heat mats on in the germ tent, probably why it shoot a sprout and then quit sprouting after the initial tail. Looked at the system today and found my inline pump for the waterfall isn't working :( So it's probably about time to change the water anyhow, but not b4 I look through my unused parts box to c if I have another pump. May have to order another? I blame this all on a 6 month hiatus. I did leave the ph pen in solution hoping that would help w it's elongated measuring time, we'll c. Oh, and trying to use only calmag, the trio, and crab for bene's, much different than my previous 3 grows. pics below of the 3 sites :(

Take your pump apart and clean around the impeller.
Remove it if possible and clean.
When re assembling make sure it remains free spinning.

I thought I'd try that first b4 anything. I do have another but unsure of it's size atm. I always appreciate the input though, god knows what I may have done lol So is it u and Stoney leading this forum now?! I'll try not to be a bother of much. Also, is @MiGrampa still here? Shout out to him for helping a newb w some good ass clones. I did fuck em up but still got some good smoke out of em

Yep, that's the name. Supafreak is only rated at 22% but still had to get it cuz of the crazy look. Tag me on when u grow that shit, it's just fun to see a freak show lol

back when we were chatting i shot a video of how i upload photos with android and right then Imgur was giving me all kinds of issues and wouldn't upload. i waited the next couple days and it still wasn't fixed. took more than week during the holiday and then it started working again...

Yep Driver showed off his grow and a bunch of us bought seeds to grow it.
I took Supafreak and their lemon haze for freebie.
They start rough and slow but come around after seedling stage.
Huge, fat yields off chonker colas but they lack potency for me. The flavor and yield is there in abundance. Flavor was similar to a mix of pineapple juice and bubblegum.
It's a novelty strain IMO. Fun to grow and ez to hide in an urban guerilla grow.
After the grow I feel it's best use is in a concentrate and not enjoyed as flower. Squish it to make lovely rosin the flowers cannot match and there you'll find electric but short lived potency rich in sweet flavor and hashiness. That's been my experience with the freaks ;budi
I'd grow it again next Summer outdoors but seeds have been sold out for a while

Yeah, I forgot it's only like 22% Does seem like a novelty w that number. Thankfully I know a few ppl w a press and will likely go that route.
 
Salutations all! The three are all getting along good and got a sprout(a good 4wks behind the rest) to throw in the 4th site tmrw which is when I'll do a water change as well. speaking of water, I fucked up pretty bad around the 17th! I forgot to shut the valve on the burp line on the caterpillar pvc area... The system dumped about 15gal on the floor b4 it tripped the only outlet that has a breaker? built in. Only noticed it cuz my bedside fan was plugged into the strip that was right near the valve. The water soaked the strip which then tripped that outlet shutting off my fan shortly after laying down. That was a scary one to explain to the landlord after the downstairs neighbors notified him of the 15+ gallons coming down from their ceiling.... oopsie! The neighbors probably hate me now, and rightfully so.

I probably should've scratched this grow and started anew cuz of the time difference of germination between the plants. I rushed this a bit and I'm sure it'll show in the end, but if I get at least 3 of them to the end w no herms, I'll b happy. Happy growing all!!
 
I’m interested in knowing how you explained 15 gallons of water running downstairs to your neighbors. Great system your growing in I have a smaller dwc 5 gallon I have had trouble a couple times with roots clogging mine up and would like to upgrade. I’ve only seen 1freak grown to full term an my gosh I was impressed though it looked like a nightmare to trim beyond the leaf was beautiful bud ✌️
 
@Hippo Man I scrambled for a decent sounding explanation lol Thankfully dude has multiple rentals and is chill. I texted him that I put in a ro water system and had recently rearranged it and forgot to turn a valve. So it wasn't a complete lie, I just left out that the rearranged ro system was a ro rdwc system used for growing weed. This last week there were ppl down there replacing that part of their ceiling, felt soo bad but yet, so happy it went as well as it did

I had to look back at the pics and from what I can tell, I topped all 3 freaks and I planted all 3 together in 20 gallons of soil

This was about 3-4 weeks before harvest and before they seriously fattened up to around 2-3x the girth they were in this pic
