First attempt to make gummies, question about infusion amount

The gummy mix starts with 7oz water to bloom the geletin.
Then says boil, add infusion and pour into molds.

It never says how much infusion.
I used coconut oil which is solid at room temp, should I use all I made (24 oz) or equal amount as to the water I bloomed the geletin in?

Sorry if this is an obvious question, I might be impared.

When I make infuse oil I make sure the weed floats so enough oil to get the weed off the bottom. I use a double boiler I add about 32oz MCT or Coconut oil then 1-2 oz of decarbed weed, cook in the oil for 3-4 hours then strain and use in gummy batches. we use about 1/4 cup / batch and that last 6 days using 2 gummies /night for my wife's sleep meds
