The book is very informative so I'm sure you'll be able to cull a lot of good info.

They also say there allot of different endofyets, hormones ,nuitrients and bacteria in the fermented plant juices i make and feed the plants .I don't know about all that, but the plants like it.i dont own a microscope but definitely am getting one in the near future. This sfuff fascinates me.

What I like is the approach meaning trying to mimic Mother Nature. I've always been suspect of adding h2o2 when germinating and never have. Now my suspicions have been confirmed scientifically. I like the part about using the same soil. Makes sense when you think about it.

My question on that is how long will the endophytes and other bacterium survive in the soil before reuse.

I'm gonna miss this season because of the hand but have fun. Should see some nice powder stashes!

That's a good question. Can't realy answer it until I get a microscope. When it comes to living soil the bigger the better.i use 30 gallon pots now,but when I get a more permanent grow I'm gona build huge permanent no till beds indoors.i also layer my soil in horizons to help them find a good permanent home.on layer on bottom rocks and sand.then a layer of clay and sand loamy soil.then my top layer of compost peat moss aeration and amendments. They say it keeps from forming an anarobic layer at the bottom and your micro herd can move around and set up permanent shop easier.

I know the guy I learned natural farming from healed a 900 acre macdamion nut farm spraying beneficial microbes and natural farming fertilizers.he said after about 3 years he felt like they could cut back on bacterial and fungi applications on the soil because they had developed a natural cycle and were sustaining them selves.

We do a seed soak solution that has bacteria in it instead of a sterile soak.supposedly it activates a defense mechanism in the plant even when using benificials that help prevent against pathogens early on.

That sucks about your season. Hope.your hands doing better. We are heading up to Mount bohemia this year in michagins UP.they are out on an island like peninsula on superior. They have all ungroomed back country trails only 2 lifts with shuttle vans that take you back when you come out on the opposite road. Super nice powder lake effect snow for michagin and no avalanches.
Other than that I just usualy go to Kalamazoo or Cadillac. It's always usualy man made snow these days in michagin.i havnt been out west in about 8 years .

If you ever get the chance, try and ski Snowbird in Utah. Probably one of my favorite places to ski. Lots of backcountry off piste skiing with some steep drops if you like some air under your board. I've skied pretty much all of the west coast and Colorado and Utah. I still need to hit up the north east but those icy conditions have kept me away!!

The first time I went to Snowbird was on an offer I got from PSIA. They were having a clinic with the PSIA Master Instructors so I figured what better teacher than the teacher that teaches the teachers!!!(Try and say that 3 times real fast!!!😄)

I went with my ex wife and we had a blast! She is a Blue, slightly green skier and they had plenty of groomers for her to ski down that she loved. I'm a little more advanced so I got to go to the top and ski the single and double blacks. After the clinic was over a few of the PSIA instructors that we got to know during the clinic invited us to do some backcountry skiing with them! What better guide could you hope for! I can still hear the sound of powder flowing over my shoulders skiing through waist deep pow!!!!

Have Fun Bro!!!👍
