Can I use tap water for an organic grow?

I’m always up for something new, and organics seem very interesting (I’d like to expand organics to my food garden as well).

Can tap water be used in organics or will any amount of chlorine/chloramine kill off the good stuff that digests the soil?

At any rate, very good quality water, 37 PPM, 6.8PH. (Out of tap readings)
The water report does indicate the use of both chlorine and chloramine (although it no longer shows in the report, I’m certain it was included in 2022), however the taste right from the tap is great!

I'm organic and use city tap water.
My report is similar to yours but maybe higher ppm at around 150-200 depending on time of year.

RO is preferred by most but I don't feel it necessary with low ppm tap. Main thing is that chloramine and getting it out.
I use this filter connected to the end of my garden hose to filter tap water that goes into my holding tank.
I can go into it more but it's just an adapter to connect the hose to the filter then a line from the filter goes to a float valve in the tank so it doesn't over fill.

You may want a holding tank, 5-50 gallons or so, to collect your water and let it sit for at least a day before using.
Aerate it with a basic aquarium air pump and air stone to push all the co2 out and load it up with oxygen. You should be left with clean, low ppm, well aerated, non-chlorinated water ready for your plants.
If your pH is really high like mine at 9.0-10.0, go ahead and adjust it back down to around 6.5-7 with an organic approved adjuster.

I use a carbon filter that threads on to the end of my garden hose. I then attach my water nozzle to the other end of the filter and water away. It removes Chloramine.
