So I’ve been making hash quite a bit with a used washing machine made for it. I’ve had pretty good results except one time the bag came loose.
So this last batch (Purest Indica x Skywalker OG form AG) was made from popcorn bugs and mids. After I micro-planed the hash I set it on the tray to dry. Usually takes a couple of days. Well I just checked in this batch and it’s sticky. Before it was always dry and crumbly. Could this just be do to the warming spring temps? Or did I do something wrong? It’ll get smoked regardless don’t worry haha.

In my limited experience you can get anywhere from dry and crumbly to soft and sticky depending on the plant.

Even the hash I use to make with the hot water bottle could be that way.

I’ve been using a press I put in the oven these last two harvests and so far it’s only been dry, but rosin has come out both times.

Wait for the regulars to chime in though.

I have never made bubble hash but use a tumbler.
My guess would be it was sticky buds that produced sticky hash.
I don't think I would worry, actually I would think it could be better than the dry stuff.
If I don't press my hash it is dry.
When I press it gets stickier for me usually.
