Forum signature question?

I had a .gif "Smilies getting high" in my signature and it suddenly stopped working. I found it again, but can't for the life of me figure out how to put it back into my sig.

Go to the link you posted, hover your mouse over the gif right click & select open image in new tab. Go to the new tab which should have just the gif without the rest of the web page, copy the url at the top of the page. Go into your signature box in your profile & paste the url there. Then you just have to surround it with img tags. Should look just like this except switch to the blocky brackets around the img's {img}http://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/smoke/smileys-passing-joint.gif{/img}

I tested it in my sig, seems to work

You can turn off seeing people's sig in your user account. It's possible some people not seeing sigs have this set.

Mine is on, and i have yet to see a sig, but im always on my phone so maybe thats why?

Not trying to make ya look into it or anything just letting you know, mine has been checked and I've never seen a signature if anyone is using one. Phone user too.

I don't even know who has sigs any more I turned it off.

If it is a problem, I can look into it. A little low on the urgency scale, got some other things that we are working on at the moment.

I forgot that I turned off signatures. I usually don't, but I got tired of repeatedly scrolling past the same huge image that someone had in their signature.

The one good thing about that other place was your signature only showed up/appeared on your first post of any thread.

Helped alleviate some of the more....annoying ones.

Made some other improvements on the signatures. The show once thing is going to have to be an add on from what I can tell.

You might want to recheck what you did. I don't think it should be showing that code in there.

Try removing that and see what happens. I don't see where it's calling anything. I believe that is the code you are seeing on the front end.

Yep, I removed all that mumbo jumbo and pasted in the code from the website, again. This time it looks to be working correctly. Go figure! THANKS!

Even at the other place i didnt see them and i had one lol.
