I decided to pop all of the ancient seeds I brought with when I moved. A few of the ~30 year old seeds have sent out root tips. I was planning on buying some higher THC strains to work with, but it seems all of us old timers are looking for highs that are elusive in the modern strains. Some say it's the terps, but that old, pressed weed smuggled from around the globe, with seed, and leaves, and improperly cured had little terps left. Much of what we got was stale, seedy crap, but the Thai, Jamaican and Colombian were usually really nice and one guy I knew got some amazing green buds from Mexico for a few years before he ended up doing a few years. The happy brow, bendy knees, creeper weed is missing today. Perhaps, the stress of growing without males causes other changes in the product.
