Familiar And Handsome...Gr8 2 have UHey guys. I hope everyone is doing well. Nice to see some familiar faces.
Indoor grower, mostly grow in ProMix for smaller grows and coco when i want to do something bigger in the winter. I dabbled with making my own nutrients from scratch for a few runs but decided it wasn't worth the hassle (i'm too lazy) and went back to Jack's AB. I'll still mix up additives when/if needed but typically tend to be a lazy grower these days.Happy Sunday AM wake and bake jguit.
Can't remember crossing paths, what kind of growing do you do?
So you probably know @Moshmen he does the promix thing too.Indoor grower, mostly grow in ProMix for smaller grows and coco when i want to do something bigger in the winter. I've seen you aroud but don't think we've ever interacted. It's a pleasure to meet you Moe!![]()
Same here Bandit. Definitely beans with a few chipotle chilies for good measure!Good to meet you and hope you enjoy the forum jguit!
So tell me...Beans or no beans in your chili? It's very important so that's why I ask![]()
Oh shit you stepped in it.Same here Bandit. Definitely beans with a few chipotle chilies for good measure!
Jack's is fairly fool proof and works great most of the time. I'm a fan of dry ferts and probably have enough Jacks to last me a lifetime. hahaSo you probably know @Moshmen he does the promix thing too.
I've played with Jacks a bit. I wish I had more experience with that. Got a pic of a grow?
I'm hydro so I mix the dry with water for easy dosing. A lot cheaper than paying to ship water around. But I'm lazy I always seem to buy bottles. I keep saying I'm going to switch back to Jacks when I run out of GH, but they don't run out at the same time so I keep buying to use what's left. As I type this I realize how dumb that is.Jack's is fairly fool proof and works great most of the time. I'm a fan of dry ferts and probably have enough Jacks to last me a lifetime. haha

I used Dynagrow (i forget which version) for a while and then started trying out some of Jack's formula's. I settled on the AB (or 123, whatever you wanna call it) bought some large bags and never looked back.I'm hydro so I mix the dry with water for easy dosing. I'm the same way with GH products, I run out of Bloom and have 1/2 gal bottles of Grow, Micro, 3/4 gal Diamond Nectar, 1/4 bottle Cal/mag + Kool Bloom liquid and dry...how am I going to switch nutes and not waste what I've already bought. I've been reading about you guys going with the Jacks and not buying water but I feel trapped in a never ending cycle of buying liquid nutes......that I like by the way, so there's also a reluctance to try something new.I'm hydro so I mix the dry with water for easy dosing. Nice! I’m prepping to harvest some GG4 here in about a week. Here's a pic of my last 'bigger' grow. It's GG4, Jacks AB in coco (automated).

Same. Imagine stoners taking the lazy route?I went down the rabbit hole with HydroBuddy and making my own dry fertilizers and that worked out really well but i'm WAYYYYY too lazy to continue down that path. Makes sense for commercial grows but for a lazy homegrower like myself? Nah.
Liquid ferts are fine. I'm lucky enough to have a hydro store less than a mile away but i got sick of spending all that cash on fertilizer. It's nice to have that option in a pinch. Jack's is cheap though. Honestly, the big bags will probably last me a lifetime, or close to it.I'm the same way with GH products, I run out of Bloom and have 1/2 gal bottles of Grow, Micro, 3/4 gal Diamond Nectar, 1/4 bottle Cal/mag + Kool Bloom liquid and dry...how am I going to switch nutes and not waste what I've already bought. Nice! The GG4 i harvested was excellent and plentiful. Taste was just ok but the high was REALLY nice. That particular harvest lasted me about a year, it got to the point I was sick of smoking it. Ha!Nice! I’m prepping to harvest some GG4 here in about a week.
@Franksta was here a couple of days ago. He seems to be doing okay. He usually sends me a msg, and the last one he was planting trees.Nice! The GG4 i harvested was excellent and plentiful. Geez. I'd love to have that sort of focus! I grow 'as needed'. Must be nice to have that kinda choice!I plan on doing one more grow after this one comes off, this will give me 18 strains to chose from, then I plan to shut down the grow and take the first break from it in 12 years!
I need to see if I can still live without watering every three days!Geez. I'd love to have that sort of focus! I grow 'as needed'. Must be nice to have that kinda choice!
