Hey guys! Nice to see some familiar faces.

Good to hear! I've been doing good. Haven't visited the forums in a while and was wondering where all the good folks went! haha. Glad i found this site.

Life's been hectic and busy here but still growing, of course..

Happy Sunday AM wake and bake jguit.

Can't remember crossing paths, what kind of growing do you do?
Indoor grower, mostly grow in ProMix for smaller grows and coco when i want to do something bigger in the winter. I dabbled with making my own nutrients from scratch for a few runs but decided it wasn't worth the hassle (i'm too lazy) and went back to Jack's AB. I'll still mix up additives when/if needed but typically tend to be a lazy grower these days.

I've seen you aroud but don't think we've ever interacted. It's a pleasure to meet you Moe! (y)

So you probably know @Moshmen he does the promix thing too.

I've played with Jacks a bit. I wish I had more experience with that. Got a pic of a grow?

Jack's is fairly fool proof and works great most of the time. I'm a fan of dry ferts and probably have enough Jacks to last me a lifetime. haha

I'll create a grow diary. I got this cute little plant budding right now (GG4 x White Widow)

I'm hydro so I mix the dry with water for easy dosing. A lot cheaper than paying to ship water around. But I'm lazy I always seem to buy bottles. I keep saying I'm going to switch back to Jacks when I run out of GH, but they don't run out at the same time so I keep buying to use what's left. As I type this I realize how dumb that is.

Same here Bandit. Definitely beans with a few chipotle chilies for good measure!

Me when I see another member who likes beans in their chili

You're not alone though. There's more connoisseurs of sadness soup with beans here than not but I'll still die on this hill and say beans do not belong in chili 😋

I used Dynagrow (i forget which version) for a while and then started trying out some of Jack's formula's. I settled on the AB (or 123, whatever you wanna call it) bought some large bags and never looked back.

I went down the rabbit hole with HydroBuddy and making my own dry fertilizers and that worked out really well but i'm WAYYYYY too lazy to continue down that path. Makes sense for commercial grows but for a lazy homegrower like myself? Nah.

I'm the same way with GH products, I run out of Bloom and have 1/2 gal bottles of Grow, Micro, 3/4 gal Diamond Nectar, 1/4 bottle Cal/mag + Kool Bloom liquid and dry...how am I going to switch nutes and not waste what I've already bought. I've been reading about you guys going with the Jacks and not buying water but I feel trapped in a never ending cycle of buying liquid nutes......that I like by the way, so there's also a reluctance to try something new.

Liquid ferts are fine. I'm lucky enough to have a hydro store less than a mile away but i got sick of spending all that cash on fertilizer. It's nice to have that option in a pinch. Jack's is cheap though. Honestly, the big bags will probably last me a lifetime, or close to it.

Nice! The GG4 i harvested was excellent and plentiful. Taste was just ok but the high was REALLY nice. That particular harvest lasted me about a year, it got to the point I was sick of smoking it. Ha!
@Franksta was here a couple of days ago. He seems to be doing okay. He usually sends me a msg, and the last one he was planting trees.
Yeah, this GG4 will be a nice harvest for sure! I plan on doing one more grow after this one comes off, this will give me 18 strains to chose from, then I plan to shut down the grow and take the first break from it in 12 years!

Geez. I'd love to have that sort of focus! I grow 'as needed'. Must be nice to have that kinda choice!

I need to see if I can still live without watering every three days! 😂
Growing inside, I have a crop coming off every 8-10 weeks. As soon as my crop goes into flower, I’m popping seeds and vegging the next round, so they just roll one after another.
