Internet TV Service

I'm a cord cutter and use Hulu. I got the package with Hulu Live TV, Disney + and ESPN + and cost is around $80/month. I'd rate it around a B+. DVR and guide control takes some getting used to.

Last year I had Fubo and cancelled. I'd give it a C-. Just a sort of wonky app and expensive.

I've also heard great things about Youtube TV and Sling but get my recs on these from football fans who tend to want every channel on Earth so they don't miss a game

Also a cord cutter sort of. We use a NAS w plex for streaming our own movies and music, with nvidia shield for a streaming hub in our media room. Only pay for internet.
Pirate. I see you.

I had a plex server at a colo data center for a few years. Whole family used it. Gone are the days of the dvd screener tho. So now I just stream and pay too much.

I look at tv and fall asleep these days...I just use free shit like tubi....put whatever on and pass out in 7 mins...don't matter what it is!

Lol ripping our entire movie and CD collection sucked but having no physical media to keep track of anymore is really nice. The Nvidia hub will pass 4k w lossless audio formats to the AV receiver which is key. I also like being able to select bit rate for remote streaming w Plex, sounds way better in the car than Spotify.

I filled up 14TB on that plex server. Still got the drives if you want any pre-transcoded movies. But any more you can find anything I have on one of the streaming services, so we just shut it down.

Ive got all the streaming services.
Netflix, hulu, hbo max, disney+, apple tv, paramount+, peacock, prime video, sling, and youtubetv. And if i cant find what im looking for on any of those, i use Stremio.
Its in my father in laws name but we split the bills up throughout the year so its not so bad.

Yeah me too… android box

I do custom AV projects for certain builders and clients as a side hustle for years now.

This is a LG gallery OLED with invisible speakers behind the skim coat. They went back and forth about speakers because they didnt want to see them, I'm like "well, you dont have to." Sold lol. Powered by Sonos 2 channel amp. It can act as a zone on the distributed music system or provide TV audio. Aux exhaust system pulls fireplace heat down away from the display and vents into the basement. They prob have $20k wrapped up in this wall lol.

We live out in the woods so we have Starlink internet which is awesome. Lots of free streaming stuff. We have a Roku stick. I still have to end up paying for stuff I really want to watch(like Bigfoot stuff). But I get YouTube on the TV which is cool Lots of growing videos.

You Tube online is better than the TV feed. I can block all of the ads online but through the TV I had 15 second commercials fk that I'm allergic to bullshit
