2 Questions:
1)Have you seen today's SF Chronicle article by Lester Banks about a company offering a $10 test for this new scourge disease that is (apparently) everywhere in California and spreading WW? The article made it sound like the end of the world. They said $10 per test, not sure that is per plant or what. 1 ounce of prevention is worth 1 LB of cure -- any talk of how to prevent the thing?

2)There are so many potential combinations of best practices pertaining to different styles of growing. I'm thinking a survey tool/vote would probably be the only way to achieve agreement. I guess the most important 'techniques' for shaping a plant are known by everyone; how they apply to each strain is unknown. Rank order preference 1) air pots 2) terra cotta 3) cloth 4) (this one soil specific).....
