A few years ago some guy down in San Antonio did the same thing and pretty much decapitated himself.
I went to school with a kid in 6th grade who blew the flesh off his hand between the inside of his thumb, the webbing of the hand, and the outside of his index finger. Those things are no joke when the fuse burns too fast
