Like the title says, I'm taking a poll on what is the current best platform for DIY carts?

I've used the cheap chinese stuff and am not impressed. I have a bunch of Sprk stuff, and it's just kinda meh.

Looking for the safest (no heavy metals or other BS in the coils) and most leak proof setup. Cost is not the issue, quality is. And ease of use, this is primarily for the wife who might be using it in the middle of the night with no lights or glasses and a pounding migraine.

Any ideas out there?

I can't help you on carts themselves.

But battery wise, i have a Yocan Uni Pro 2.0
Ive had it for 4 or 5 years now and use it at least 7-8 months out of the year and it has yet to let me down, and the charge seems to last forever. I can burn an entire 1g cart on 1 full charge.

The ccells work good with thick oil.not sure how well they would perform with realy thinned out hotdogwater with vape juice in it and stuff, but I'm sure that's not what your makeing.

<----Is watching and taking suggestions too.

Right now I'm looking at Pulsar options mostly because Pulsar has been very reliable with every type of vape I've bought from them.
For a cart vape I'm looking at either the Gigi or the autodraw Obi. The Obi would be ideal for many since there's no buttons or a screen. Just inhale to turn it on and it's a 650mH battery so there's lots of power and longevity in a small package.

I also really like the Duplo because you can hit two carts at the same time and that's just all kinds of awesome IMO. I'd load it with indica and sativa and just get weird with it

Pulsar also sells empty carts in either all ceramic or quartz with ceramic tip. Both use borsilicate glass and stainless steel connections.
If you shop Pulsar, use Capital One's coupon code finder app. That app always takes 10-20% off my orders

Dab pot? Do you use the little glass ball in the pot to get a better hit?
Ahh the discussion is about flower specifically. Dry herb vape pen?

I guess the other is called just dabs? I'm sorta behind the curve on the cannabis vernacular these days, i suppose.

It's all rather confusing sometimes

I had the AiroX disposable Pineapple Diesel last weekend and it was very good. Bought it Friday evening and it lasted until Monday morning toking often
I like their oils. Not harsh at all and, from what I can gather, they use essential oils in their vapes as base so no PE/PGE/Vitamin E as a base.

Buy the battery they have. It vibrates as you take a hit. Supposedly the vibration is supposed to signal your brain to get ready for the relief!! At least that's what the rep told me....🥴

I prefer the Artisan collection oils they have but my favorite is their live resins.

They are called Carb Caps, or pot tops, I have a carb cap. Carry on, I like the ceramic coil idea, no metals right Moe? SS
