There's breeding and then there's whatever the fuck Greenpoint calls breeding.

So in the past it was male to female to make seeds and breed, typically crossing sativa with indica and landrace to landrace from different parts of the world.

Next we got feminizing, usually with colloidal silver or products like Tiresias Mist getting females to self pollinate then collect those seeds and they'd be feminized.

Now we have abominations where "breeders" like GPS and everybody who works to make those seeds, are taking clones, using colloidal silver to get them to hermie, then taking that hermie pollen and rather than self pollinate the host female, spread that pollen onto different female strain.
They have the nerve to call this breeding. It's more like genetic manipulation. No traits from either plant carry over. They regress to their old form. So even though these people might have 150 strains, in reality they have a handful as they're all the same and worst of all, at least 1 in 3 has the chance to hermie along with other genetic defects or mutations.

That's nearly how simple a basic DMT extraction is
With first and second picture.

This is an ethanol distillate extraction using Extract Craft's The Source.
Starts off with food grade ethanol and the weed taken down to below zero temps.
Next, load a jar with weed and pour enough ethanol to cover it and put it back in the freezer.
Let it sit for 5-20 minutes. I just take my dogs walking and call it good enough.

Then you pour the ethanol out thru the strainer and into another jar. Repeat this step again but thru a coffee filter.
Empty the jar into the crucible which is the metal cup part inside the machine.
Put the lid on, start the machine either with a phone app or the green button and let it do it's thing.
The vacuum pump will turn on and the temp will climb and set at 105.
The ethanol will turn to vapor and rise up from the extract.
When the vapor hits the glass lid which has an ice tray on the outside and is tilted at an angle, the vapor goes back to a liquid state and runs down the titled lid and into the reclaim chamber.
In all, it's pretty much a different and less expensive option to using a rotovap to perform the same task.
Whomever came up with this machine is just brilliant. Only produces maybe a gram or two of oil each run but for being such a small device that's kinda expected.

I licked a spoon and was very happy with what I was tasting.
I was hoping for a little more amber in the color but I think it's just so dark because it's globbed up for now.
Cant wait to drop a dab in my proxy or peak for my first experience with it!
Then it will be onto thinning it and making carts.

Yeah that's a cold move on the extract fees. I know this thing is for cash croppers doing tests everyday but damn...how about a little bone for the home growers who invested in the startup, went thru all the glitches staying loyal and patient to the process and helped get them going?

man i totally forgot i wanted to reply about that soundbar you posted... is there any chance you can listen to it there at costco? or at least one similar? my only hold back would be the quality of the built in sub, sounds weak by description but also saw there are upgrades to separate subs and battery rears.. the battery rears sound awesome, don't even need an outlet!!!! shit i'd zip tie em to the back of the recliner!!!! hahaha

other than the sub i saw no red flags at all. we had a sony soundbar a few years ago and it worked great until it didn't.. konked out without warning. my only complaint about it was the remote was a unique signal and directv's remote didn't sync up to it and we always needed a second volume remote for that tv. but they're way more popular now and shouldn't be an issue with modern stuff.

For some reason I thought the sale on the soundbar ended Sunday so I ordered it and just figured I'd return it if I didn't like it since Costco returns are super ez like Amazon.
Well I got out to the warehouse today and they had them there and I realized then the sale ends on the 17th.
But anyways I got to test it out there and it sounded really good.
You're right the sub is underpowered for my liking. I like heavy bass. Like the 12s in my truck behind my seat and how that bass is so deep and rich it gives me a spinal massage and makes me feel like I'm at a concert.
The soundbar sounds awesome in all categories but that however it does comes with that 20% off coupon for accessories and a few options are external subs.
I think once it has deep rich bass it's gonna be really freakin' sweet. It's great as-is but it needs a thumper to put it over the top.

man if you really like the detail sound from the bar than the bass and mid can easily be added later. that's kind of how i set them up anyway, i use the sound bar itself as a treble rebel and use it mostly for imaging. for the middle of the room or atmos or ceiling speaker i like to stick with a rich mid level. something over 4" if possible. and then the sub, hell yeah i'm like you in that regard. so you could always upgrade a subwoofer. i like that low low 20-30 hz rumble!!!!! my garage system blows everything away that i have indoors.. a very salty 18" subwoofer coupled with a pair of 12's and my garage is shaped like a giant speaker, i can rock half the mountain with it!!!

i use the 12's as mids and the horns as treble and give everything under 150 hertz to big bad sub!!!!

Those look like the speakers we use at football practice! Loud AF. People trip on it too.
Our practices are different I guess you could say. There's really two going on at the same time...twice the work in the same amount of time but it's also very fast paced, violent, and the tunes are cranked up. Parents and recruits always trip out on it the first time they see it.

The tables!!! IDK what to say about them other than throw out a chef's kiss.
Haze and Indica, side by side.
The haze table is pancaked to the floor to accommodate stretch and the indica table is about a foot up off the ground since indi's don't stretch anywhere close to haze or hybrids. So that's how they're arranged on the tables... according to genetics and likelihood of excessive stretching.
It's working out better than planned.

Micro dosing feeding every other day with a full 1 gallon saturation.
Mixing it up...one day it's bennys and Trinity. Next day is liquid crab and lobster. Next it's tomato and veggie food and that cycle repeats itself. They never get pure water and they never get what would be considered a full dose of food.

Frost and aroma is beginning to accumulate and genetic traits are starting to show between individual plants as they begin expressing themselves. The diversity in genetics here is something that makes me giddy as a school girl












Still working thru the distillate project. I got this blob so far and now I'm gonna use ethanol again to dewax or winterize it.
Another idea that's come to mind thru this is wanting to use the distillate extraction for cooking and make concentrated pastes of herbs like cilantro, rosemary, and tyme.

I hit an Xfinity streak mark a few week ago at 30 and it was worth 300 points. I don't think there's been 30 Xfinity races this year so some of that may have been carry over.
Since I cashed out at 4000 then again at 3000 I had like 150 left so I burned them on All Star Race sweepstakes entries. I thought I was done but since I've hit Champion tier, it's like I shit points now. Already back up to 1200 without really trying so IDK..thinking about that bottle sling for the bottle I got. Little at the track swag sorta thing. They recently posted the giftcards because last week all that was there was a Sunoco and Fanatics.
Every check in is worth 63 now instead of just 50 for me. Gonna rack 'em up next year and get that garage experience!

Nah we don't do crowd noise. It's mostly all modern rap and hip hop and I have no idea who it is. Sometimes I'll hear some A$AP Rocky but that's about all I know who they're playing. Lets just say the players choose the playlist and who know WTF that is they like these days.

Like in the airpot stage it has enough life for maybe 8 days then it needs supplement often.
At this stage, by the second watering I'm dosing them with food to keep up demands but it's still very low applications at 1/10th recommended strength. More of like an IV drip style of feeding than a big ol platter of food

As in, there's so much hybridization and crosses and "improperly" done "crosses" the genetic lineage of cannabis around the states Is fucked.

Probably need "OG" moms and seeds.

I can't wait to get back and running again.

I got a bunch of seeds to pop, find "winners" get a male and female " winner" and go from there.

I want to go all the way to F10s if needed and get some exact genetic copies nearly that Perform Consistently and Stable.

I thought the penalties were fair and just with the exception of Chevy. Chevy shoulda been docked manufacturer points. Probably Toyota as well. There's some shanigans there because NASCAR said there wasn't enough evidence but it was clear on SVG's radio.
He was given an order to block and was confused because his CC had never asked that before then the CC came back and said "That's from Chevy"

Look to Europe and breeders like Ace. They have landraces from all over the globe. Central America, Middle east, China, Vietnam...lots to choose from.
Only American breeder I know of that's traveled to source his stuff is Bodhi. He's done plenty of globetrotting finding pure and quality genetics to use in his work.
Stateside though too many pollen chuckers are trying to get that Banana Cream Candy Gorilla Cookie Zkittle strain to happen and it's just not working out.
There's also some heirloom cuts out there from people like Mendo20, Uruz, Moska and more if you want a head start working with old school cuts from the 80s and 90s

We got the Gators today at home! Ever eat gator? I'm not a fan of it. I can always taste swamp in it. Kinda like catfish. Catfish are good if you get them on the smallish side, maybe 2-3lbs max. Those big fuckers though are gross. You can taste the lake bottom eating those garbage disposals no matter how they're cooked.

I have that problem with fish. Love catching them, rarely eat them unless trout or salmon BBQed. I think it’s because they are in a fresh water river vs a lake.

I’ve found from camping if I didn’t like the taste of the lake water the fish would be the same but stronger. Still brought the good ones home for the family. I cooked a lot back then.

I started losing my enjoyment for lake fishing when zebra muscles would be in every fish I caught. Meat, skin, any part of the body…little black eggs. Ya, you can eat them if we’ll cooked but I’ve never been that hungry yet.

I do need to get out and try my luck on some rainbows and/or steelheads. More like walking the dog than fishing and can take a while as I use light test line. Don’t fly fish any more, too many obstacles and I like the hidden holes.

I have that problem with fish. Love catching them, rarely eat them unless trout or salmon BBQed. I think it’s because they are in a fresh water river vs a lake.

I’ve found from camping if I didn’t like the taste of the lake water the fish would be the same but stronger. Still brought the good ones home for the family. I cooked a lot back then.

I started losing my enjoyment for lake fishing when zebra muscles would be in every fish I caught. Meat, skin, any part of the body…little black eggs. Ya, you can eat them if we’ll cooked but I’ve never been that hungry yet.

I do need to get out and try my luck on some rainbows and/or steelheads. More like walking the dog than fishing and can take a while as I use light test line. Don’t fly fish any more, too many obstacles and I like the hidden holes.

Yeah lake fish are just off. Maybe they don't have to fight for life as hard like river and ocean fish IDK but yeah they're like farm raised fish but dirty tasting. Even trout. River trout and the trout we catch on the Gulf which are fresh and salt water are way better than lake or farm raised trout.
Wild salmon vs farm raised is the only spot where I actually prefer farm raised since they're more fatty compared to a lean wild caught.
Other than red snapper I can't remember the last time I was fishing and kept anything. I usually fish for bass and no way I'm eating one of those lunkers.

It is weird though how things that live in swamps and lakes pick up that flavor but salt water fish and shellfish, even bottom feeders like cod and things like oysters don't take on the flavor of dirty water.

100% and if not docked than they should be ineligible for the mfg championship!

Yep that race was the Vegas race back in the Spring. I wanted that scheme to match my Larson cars.

With the herm...I have a motto in life...Find comfort in the most uncomfortable situations.
So with finding a herm what's the first thing that happens? That uncomfortable feeling of wasted energy, money, and hope. Then the potential loss sets in. Then the anger and resentment and perhaps feelings of retribution are in order. All of this leads to darkness and pollutes the head.
This is my wheelhouse.
Find comfort and happiness in there because it is there if we peel back the layers and work thru an issue, no matter what it is in life.
So I took a deep breath, never dealt with it before, and worked the issue the best I thought how.
All those ill feelings melt away and I find comfort because I'm working on a solution rather than moping around about it. It was ez and effective. And lots more productive than killing it in anger. I'll get weed from her and I'll be able to examine those aero to soil roots and how they played out.
Now the plant in less than a week is on track and performing. Just another example of being comfortable in an uncomfortable situation and it yielding happiness
