That gun looks like its worth more than my car. And you know how to use it eh. Pretty impressive, I've only seen guns like that in the movies, well not like that, looks 1 of a kind but long guns that shoot bad guys or bag guys that shoot other bad guys, as in the latest version of The day of the Jackal we just finished watching, couple long shots in that show.

This one is a dasher 6mm. Set up for long range shooting. The stock was done by Andrea Santacroce in Italy, its custom. I asked that it look like a cut amethyst geode, he did a great job. The purple front rest is also custom (in color) by Sebastian Lambang from Indonesia owner of Seb gun rests. Number one gun rest in the US. Custom action by Jim Borden in the US with a Bix and Andy trigger. She, is one sweet collaboration. I call her Stella 🥰

You got it! Zero purple bags! I’m thinking bout hitting Seb up for that, it will take months but so did the rest.
That lens, is a magnifying lens so I can read the numbers on the turret behind it without having to pull my shooting glasses off to go to my reading glasses. Pretty observant, ya are!

thats freakin brilliant!!! i never seen or heard of that ever!! i'd probably have to stand up and get all close sideways to read it!!! hahaha i'd hear the time limit expire and say ok now i'm ready!! hahaha

some of my favorites are skiers that stop and shoot.. all of you competitors and soldiers like that can just instantly change breath or adrenaline in a heartbeat and re-focus in half that time. amazing!!

i scope a target and you can see my heartbeat through my chest!! hahaha i got an incredibly steady hand, till i hold gun!! been a few years since i fired a high power rifle.. been 22's and pellets for a while now. i got a few big lead senders but the most attention they get any more is oil.

i'd really like to shoot my grandpas old 308 he left me, i remember being like five or six and amazed by that gun when i went to his house. it was his dads gun... pretty cool stuff but i got nobody to pass it on to. same with my dads 30-06 he left me, i really wanna shoot that gun again. it was the very first rifle i shot when i was a kid. so many memories, i still get chills holding that thing. i also have a nice 7mm mag that i bought when i was a teenager. i sold one gun once, screw that i'm never doing that again!!! i miss that one a lot!!!! haha

I’ve been hearing this since I was a kid. All I remember is that it was more enjoyable working with the music on than off.

When I leave the dog at home I put the radio on in the grow room for all to enjoy. I figure it’s at least some company.

In the spring/summer when I can leave tent doors open I will on occasion blast tunes in the grow room while I work, read or just hang out on the spare bed. Usually improves my mood.
 
Well I might've gotten a little carried away the other night and now I'm feeling a little in over my head...

We've been wanting chickens. I've got the room and know-how to build a fine chicken run and the yard to let 'em roam. So we've been browsing chicken hatcheries online.

Well, the other day, I smoked an exceptional amount of joints. By the time bedtime starts to roll around, chickens are weighing heavy on the brain. I found a hatchery that seemed to sell whatever chicken you'd want.

I start building my future flock. 15 chicken minimum. I thought 15 sounds about right. We'll probably lose a couple and the breeds I had in mind were more on the ornamental side. Less eggs per bird means more birds, right? Right. I get to 15 and the alert says there's a "small order charge" for purchases under 25.

By now, I'm fully invested in these chickens and just bump up the order to 25 chick's and hit go.

I haven't researched these birds at all. I've got 8 of these coming. They seem to be a good choice, easy enough to care for. 13 pound roosters.

I also have 17 of these coming... These are the ones I'm now kicking myself over. 2 roosters and 15 hens.

Fuckers need a trimming around the eyes a couple times a year and you gotta wash their face and eyes every couple weeks. They also need a lot of space in the roost to avoid pecking.

So I'm balls deep in a basement bathroom project that I started yesterday with 25 baby chick's shipping my way in 8 weeks and no place to keep them... Sometimes my stoned self gets me into trouble.

Either way... we gonna have some coo chickens 😎

When I was a kid my dad and his buddy went in on 500 chickens on April fools day...my mom thought it was a prank 🤣

Too funny! I started my first flock late one fall with fifteen hens and one rooster. Mid spring..I had 120!

And stay away from ducks. They shit and leave eggs to rot everywhere. 😷

Dad got talked into getting a few to deal with house/barn flies. No idea if it cut down on flies but wasn’t worth the mess the ducks leave. He was so happy when the last one was carried off by something years later.

I had 13 ducks turn into 27 with 2 geese. I raised them for 4 years until I moved and sold the flock. They had a nice little pen and I would let them roam for an hour+ a day. I loved them. Delicious eggs and beautiful birds. I raised runners. I could herd them in and out and they always came to "COMEER COMEER COMEER"

Messy damn birds though. Between the water and food was always a trail of rotten grain and they get some shit called bumblefoot. Like an ucler/callous. It was a pain to keep them all healthy.

I don't want more ducks..

This was the funniest thing i've read today.
Seriously, though, it is all too relatable.
I'm the guy who will order 3 large pizzas for 2 people because they're $16 when you buy 3 but $25 when you buy one or two. It won't go to waste.

I look forward to following your chicken adventure!

hahaha when i was little my dad would fuck with me and tell me a bird shit on the fence and the sun hatched me... wtf?!?! my mom used to tell me she bought me from the salvation army for 75 cents and got ripped off!!!! my parents were fucked up now that i think about it... all in fun though!! haha

duh!

lol. Nope no chickens 🐓 for me. Too many predators here. All my friends have chickens so I always have eggs. 🍳 I sold off all my farm animals years ago so I could travel.

The same beificial microbes almost everybody here uses for growing super dank canabiss can be used to build a living floor for your chickens and ducks. Or a spray to combat the disease causing bacteria,anywhere the animals frequently deficate.it will prevent them from contracting "buble foot" and smelling like shit .you can also ferment their feed with the same microbes to cut all the disease off at its source.think of it like fighting powdery mildew on your plants only your protecting animals instead of plants.

In turn this makes the eggs and meat produced by your super happy animals,that dont smell like shit very nuitrient dense and antibiotic free.and it makes everything smell like the forest floor instead of chicken,duck shit.its like a hack to make animals raised in a confined environment similar to animals raised in a old growth forest in the wild.

It's not just chickens and ducks the same microbes can be used to raise pigs,beef,no smell inviroment. The technology is even makeing its way into captive pet reptile inviroments. no smell no clean aquariums for snakes and lizards. You could raise pigs right in the city without any complaints from the neighbors or your wife and only clean the pens once or twice a year.
.... just another interesting rabbit hole to go down.
