CannaGranny’s Corner a Thread For General BS and Good Will On BudBuilders

Hey Granny, happy Saturday~!
Raining here, but it is Saturday, so it is expected.
Been raining here and flooding for the last six days. I have a man coming this morning to look over my driveway and see what can be done to repair it. I have a mile of torn to the damn ground driveway. It’s way beyond my ability to repair. Worked it enough the day before yesterday to be able to get the car out to take the Hubby to the Dr. while I was gone it came another monsoon and it was worse when I got back then when I worked on it the first time. I can still get my truck in and out, but the beating and banging of the passenger is not conducive to the hubby’s back injury. This rain is about to piss me off!

Dad made a metal rake like thing to drag off the back of his truck to level out and fix his home training race track. He uses it on the driveway to fix it as well. Doesn’t do much for the washouts m, has to fill them in first.

Hope your able to handle everything that’s been sent your way. Your more than capable, just don’t try to fix it all in one day. Take some help if you can. Best wishes always. 👊

you may be worked to the bone but your flowers love ya for sure!!!!!!!!

That a chicken feather in the corner of its mouth? 🤣

Dad has had his share of barn cats. Hope this guy is a friendly visitor. Maybe smells the catnip growing. 🤔

I even went in to work because today was supposed to be the good day. Supposed to have rain tomorrow.
They have already called out rain for next Saturday. I don't always believe them, but a betting person would play it wet.
They say the weather activity is winter like with its frequency of fronts. 🤷‍♂️

Supposed to be thunder storms today. Nothing yet, just cloudy and grey. High of only 20*. We could use the rain.

We spent part of the weekend taking turns hacking back the last growth spurt. Mowed, trimmed the hedges, raked up the mess.

Wife’s back to work this week. I’m functioning at 75% but our sons only past the middle of it. Wifey never got the respiratory issue son and I have. We’re guessing it’s because of the meds she already takes. But we all shared in the two days of head and joint pain.

Enjoy your day people.

Dropping the jeep off at the collision center again, they had some shit on backorder, and 2 things they missed (all cosmetic trim shit) and a sensor they failed to change thats been setting my check engine light on and off.

Theyve been good tho, its all been covered. They're paying for my rental too!

Yeah id be willing to bet on that if i had betting money 😂
Its really getting old. My garden is at a complete standstill and won't do shit cause its so wet

I still have my outdoor plants indoors~!
They are actually better off the way it has been.
Close to you got over 2.5 inches just yesterday.
I heard some areas had 4 but can't track it down.

We had several deluges here last night. My fresh emptied wheelbarrow has about four inches in it. This dropped in about 20 minutes. All together we have has a little over 14” inches the last five days. Just unreal. My road still requires a four wheel drive to get in and out. Glad I have one!
I have been heads down working in my house. I have 12 out of 14 rooms spic and span. Two left for today and then this one woman cleaning crew is heading outside to clean. All of my porches, outdoor furniture and rugs need a cleaning. I have three huge flower beds still needing weeded..then..I should be caught up..well Cept the yard, it needs mowing, but it’s just too darn wet.

We finely have a few nice days, 60f with few clouds, some rain almost daily but nothing torrential yet this year. I may have to mow the grass again soon and that's a bit unusual 3-4-5 times a year max and twice in June??

I'm running a green light now.under my blues..I read something somewhere about something and thought it a good idea....lolJune 5 Blue and Green.JPG

They looking healthy!

They looking healthy!
Yes they are, I have of 2 Capt Redbeard's, Rainbow Slurricane in there, I've had some humidity issues and pulled all their large fan leaves off. I like to leave a few on if they are getting light and they are healthy I think it boosts the plants to have more area of coverage sucking up light right through flower if they're not in the way. All my girls had massive fan leaves, I think my far red use has something to do with that

Two things, first the corner hit 1 million views today! Unbelievable! Thanks to all of you that made this possible ❤️
Second, my drive was fixed today and you could bring a vet back here! I’m super thankful.
Fourteen rooms of my house is sparkling clean..I need to sell it, right now..while it’s all clean at one time 😆😁🤣
Tomorrow will be the last dry day for the next seven so mowing and weed eating is the plan and then for the next two days I’m going to sleep!

This scrawny looking little plant is significant in several respects.

It’s got some of the most amazing flowers.

Second, it’s lethally toxic, even used as a poison dart tonic by some tribal groups.

But mostly it’s cool to look at 👀

Looking good! I’m too lazy this morning to walk to the barn to take a pic, but this is what I have. Not as clean and shiny either! My big challenge this week was gettIng the gas hauled home for the mower. (Heavy when full and lifting them into my truck, I left them in the truck, made sure they were grounded before filling, so no lifting) It takes 16 gallons to fill it ( you can mow several times) and I’m still trying to work smarter not harder with my rehab shoulder and arm. That 60” cut is the berries! Still takes me two hours to mow tho..
Got all of my weed eating done yesterday, I weed eat so much crap my arms are still swinging this morning, I just get a quick puff as my arm swings by lol.IMG_3282.jpeg
