Yeah sweet job

So I think it's worth looking at what you're end goal for the seed is... If you're looking for next season seeds or hunting out something interesting or original... Verses hunting out the best out of the bunch and clone it....

The stinkiest stronger phenotype might be more inconsistent. But if it's isolated, and readily available, it's not difficult to propagate

Consistently can bleed into the ordinary again. Especially if it's not hunted into another generation

Seems like to me that good seed runs have a little element of random luck involved. Some results are lacking, some promising, and a few knock it out there. But doing a good job with the run and ensuring full maturity is critical to variability % rates, and plant vigor ECT

I see most of the guys (who breed) on the commercial end of cannabis are using the same techniques. At least the ones with anything on the ball IMO. There's not many of them

They appear to be the driving force behind diversity IMO with the newest stuff emerging

I know this is a divisive subject and everyone has a opinions about best methods. This is essentially the short easy way of turning out new variety and cleaning up the older lines

Tissue culture would probably be better but exceedingly difficult for the average stoner
BudGoodman was into tissue culture his grow methods never changed, just dank buds only.

IMO if the sugar leaves don’t curl from Trichome Rails/Frost my grow failed or the strain did and is kicked out of the stable??

I’m sure someone that knows breeding might think differently about strains I have kicked to the curb but breeding definitely is not in my wheelhouse.
