I get it.

So that’s what goes as a shed in those parts huh? That’s even too nice to be called a barn here. That’s a shop if anything.

You make your own power?

Nice that it is all on one level.
Yea its a shop

Nope buy the power. Last bill for house and shop was $480.00 with both rooms running. Just house alone would be about $250.00

Shop floor is actually 17" lower than the patio/house floor where picture was taken

I can say for certain that the pics do not do this place justice. Nicest set up I have ever seen 👊

What a great set up~!
You may say you do not know how you do it, but you must have had a clue when you set all that up.
Any trouble with the water being in the non heated area?
I need to get water to my shop but have no heated area besides the grow room.

The bathroom where the RO is located 8x16 is heated with a wall mount electric heater. The blue pex leaves the heated bathroom, goes up into the rafters in the unheated area and drops down to fill the water tank. That half the shop is heated. After running the ro system to fill the water tank i blow the line out with air so nothing in the unheated area has water in it.

What would I change? ... the area where the chillers, ballasts, air pumps,75 gallon green tank is gets pretty warm and temperature reaching 95 deg even with fans blowing and a 6" exhaust out the top

Edit; when i say " i don't know how i do it" im referring to running neither " not live or sterile

Moved the 4 Athens Silver Haze out of the veg room to the flower room, one plant in particular was supported by yo-yo in the veg room, decided to put a cage around her to help. Roots are similar conditions of the AF1 when they were moved over. Post #61 and 62 above.

Still working on getting the AF1 stable at 62% in the vaults.

Turn and burn man Nice

Air force one is dry and stable in the vaults at 62-63 %

Total weight 4 plants. is 4155 gms, we broke the 1/gpw running 4000 wt hps.

I liked this plant, fairly easy to grow, liked more calcium early, then potassium but just kept making these fist size nugs and lots of them.

Biggest plant was 2 lbs 12 oz

To say well done would be a massive understatement! Congrats to you and your helper 👊

Thanks Slg, broke the 1 gpw that @ZombieRider made reference to over in reds thread that got me thinking "how big of a plant is it possible to grow indoors " . 1255gms was the weight. My biggest prior was 2 lbs 8 oz

Old posters on forums led me to Gettogro

In the year 2012, this is one of maybe 6 growers that inspired me to hydroponics. I know some here will remember

Ppm 310 on 700 scale

40 ppm ro water
180 ppm calmag
90 ppm nutes
Is that ratio of calmag to nutes normal? My friend is gifting me his old RODI and thinking I'll prolly need calmag if using RO water, but always thought it would be less than nutes. Idk of course, just asking to understand it better before I get RO water

Cal/mag is usually a calcium nitrate so I'm gonna assume it's that high for the added nitrogen in veg? Just speculating. I'm also curious.

The calmag that came with my Lotus nutes added very little ppm to my solution, but the GH CaliMagic added close to what smoke is showing.

i must have way overfed/wasted my nutes starting out. yours look so lush and healthy. Smoke, how old are they in that photo?^^

have they been on 90 ppm(700 scale) of nutes since you started them?

@smoke question for ya regarding the UC systems. Is it required the epicenter be centered on the delivery manifold or could one put a 90 degree elbow on the delivery manifold and have the epicenter off center?

I'm thinking with a strong enough pump, that one bend wouldn't impact flow through the entire system too significantly. what are your thoughts?

it almost wants to make me take the air out and see if it drifts faster at all.

15 years ago i was told to add 180 ppm of calmag to starting RO water. Always have. Seeds started in paper 25 days before picture was taken. Seedds germed put in rockwool cubes for 10 days then put in 8 site for 14 dayz, only calmag to 180 no nutes have bean added to this point.
Picture was taken at 25 days from seed and this is the first ive added nuter.

led is at 25% and 36" away???20240910_103350.jpg20240910_103321.jpg
