SSHZ does Captain RedBeard's "Biscotti Blonde" and Lit Farms "All Starz"..........

And the 2nd strain I'm going to do next crop is the"All Gas OG".........I'll just add a 2nd air cleaner with instant room circulation, if necessary. I'm tired of thinking about it and doing the research. So many positive reviews on this one, it's a no brainer. I'll deal with the odors as they come.........actually my real concern is it's 70% sativa, which surprised me with all the Chem in there.

Got an update on the Biscotti?

Day 51.......... these appear to be later than the All Starz. Some plants appear to have suffered some light burn, as the tops are yellowing but below the canopy, is all green. Not sure if the pH probe issues contributed to this or not. Smell is sweet coming from that side, gassey on the All Starz side. Plants are super sticky though, as I stink after watering..........

I'll probably go no more than 70 days total for this room.........and hoping it's less.

Clarification first.........the pics of the All Starz are all from one plant, and it's far and away the most done thing in the room. It's phenos look ALL over the place- different colors, different sizes, different ripeness. So it's not fair to think the room all looks like this cause it doesn't. Compared to the Biscotti- well, there is no comparison. The Biscotti all lined up perfectly, so this lined was worked more.

Smells- both stink pretty bad. The All Star seems more gassy, the Biscotti is sweeter. They both are fighting to be king of the room, smell wise. I think the Biscotti has more weight in there too.

Today is day 52, the All Starz will definitely be chopped before the biscotti, no doubt on that.

Last lit u ran u said same thing, phenos all over the place.
At this point in the grow are u digging the captain as a breeder? Quality genetics?

Lit Farms........I'm willing to give them high credit for the last strain (Rainbow Marker) and this strain looks equally good. The last one sold right out and that says a lot to me, as multiple people came right back for more. I'm actually still smoking it, the last 6-7 grams or so. The pheno issue just means they don't work the strain for years to get to a uniform point. But, the cuttings or mothers they use are very good I'm assuming. If this new strain works out like I expect it to, i'll probably drop the All Gas Og I was going to do next and substitute another Lit Farms strain- they deserve a constant place in my garden. But let's hold off until this crop is done.

Captain RedBeards- I am not super happy with this side of the room, but it's all my fault and not fair to blame the Biscotti Blonde. It did not handle my pH probe issues well, but the Lit Farms strain did. There was also some probable light burn on this side that also did not happen with the All Starz. I've already mentally committed to doing this strain again, as I have extra seeds of this one, but want to reserve my final opinion until I have a chance to smoke it. I can tell you it's sticky, and a great smell right now- but let's see how it finishes off and how long it takes.

i am putting a large sign up in my room- led's no lower than 22-24 inches & ppm no higher than 450. Not sure why I'm having a mental block on these issues, as I know my grows always turn out better when I don't push the room too far.........Honestly, I am not spending as much time in the room as I'm redoing my 1200 sq. ft basement, starting with sanding the popcorn off the ceiling which is no walk in the park.

8 weeks flowering today.........some very nice resin progression on the Biscotti.

Just tried the Purple Runtz, from the last crop, which I initially did not have a high opinion of. Although it looks and smells great, the buzz was lacking. After 3+ months of curing, what I have left (about a lb) has been sitting in a cool spot, in the dark, in a closet in the basement. So, found a few seeds in the bottom of the container and I tried a bowl and I'm pleasantly buzzed. Go figure.image.jpg

Not much depth in that interview..............or anything of value, I'd say.

Interesting read still.
I don't take much stock in 'breeders' personal habits or life style.
I let their smoke do the talking to me.

I thought the same thing.....but it's him, I guess older and grayer.
