Last time i checked my tap it was over 300ppm and i use it all the time no issues. I assume most is chlorine and calcium. Upvote 0 Downvote

If it was tap, I'd bet on nitrates but with well water, good chance it's calcium. My tap water is only 120ppm but there's something in it plants hate even with dechlorination so I do RO it and that makes my plants happy Upvote 0 Downvote
