2025 new year grow

Last night when the sun came up was defoliation day for the photos in preparation for a pinch and flip. Right around 11 nodes now and noticed between 6/7 node on peyote she split into 2 mains coming up. Both have really strong thick branches already and will work on some lst this evening.
Strawberry cheesecake auto is doing good and I really want to remove some fan leaves.

Happy Monday, all I can say about this auto is i have urges to defoliate. Not getting involved in the growing issues strange. I do see frost starting to form and she looks healthy.

Photos had a little lst and a pinch to make that last step before 12x12. Both are strong and filling in again after defo. Got a few clones from peyote forum also.

Loving the self feeders, had to go away for the weekend and all is good. The flip has to happen very soon. Probably today after I get a couple clones from each. They're both nice and bushy.

The auto is a auto in flower stage progressing with a distinct funky aroma...

Moved the clones so I can flip to 12x12 tonight.
All clones are in with the auto and that should help keep my humidity up in there.
Self feeders work great, less water/nute usage. Ordering 4 more and will continue this process. Less mess also

thats awesome they're working so well for you!!! sounds like their weekend alone sealed the deal for getting more.

lookin good man!!!!!!!!

Also was informed that ac infinity has some with a 2gal base compared to 1.3gal vivosun
;aus

really?? ya know it's been in my experience that everything ACI makes is better quality and design than anything that vivosun makes. you should give at least one a try!! ACI has sales and deals quite often too, maybe not have to pay full price.

fans, thermometers, controllers, net cups, software, lights.. all better from ACI i would fully expect their waterers to better as well.

Ordered the 4 pack and should be delivered today with the extra wicks purchased.

Otay, they arrived. Nice size and i like the option 3,5,7 or 10gal bag and made very well. With that being said it doesn't have a way to check water ph inside while plant is on top and holds 100lbs. Vivosun has a slot to check ph, holds 130lbs, up to 5gal bag and very well also. They both have the water level floater on the side. I'll start using them on the 2 photos the next time they need a refill. Pic for comparison

So the net trellis actually helps keep the flowers from falling over when they get heavy? Trying to get away from having to keep tieing things up. T/u

Auto got some defo the other day, had to let s9me light in 9n the buds. Whole 0lant is pretty much a bud.

Day 7 flip and we have pistils. Going to keep them in the Vivosun self feeders for the entire grow to get a better idea on how they work. Raised the light and checking for more low hanging fruit to clone.

Enjoying the growing while learning, how's everyone doing?
I tried cloning 2 buds from purple ghost candy a couple months ago and with my persistence 1 of them has started a new leaf growing.
Auto is getting some amber and leaves are changing colors. She's a funky girl.
Photos have officially jumped into stretch mode and thinking about investing in a trellis to throw inside. Just have to make sure it can reach back side to raise the light when needed since I try to do it gradually.

Have to get ready to start outdoor vegetable seedlings so I moved 3 peyote forum clones into a 5gal since I was planning to lollipop them anyway.
Auto is finishing up.
Photos are stretching and flowering

Everything seems to be going good. Photos are flowering and I keep thinking they should be drinking more.
Auto has to be close as leaves are getting beautiful colors.
Clones are setting in and I'll see how the experiment goes. Both clones from purple ghost candy buds have new leaves growing.

I like the self feeders, but think I'm going to add at least 1/2 gallon of nutes from top a week to keep moisture up in the coco coir. Plants are looking good, but I expected more of a stretch and water intake seems slower. Either will go to store and get moisture tester or do the convenient online buy. What meter do you all use that works? T/u ;pass ;roll

I have a simple one. $6-$12@ amazon
1740486833225.png
I don't depend on it but use it more as a double check when I am spacey or plants are questionable.
I have holes drilled into the sides of my 5g pots to check at different depths since the stick is not as long as buckets are deep.

I might have 1 laying around here that came with a ph tester. T/u, yeah I just want to chk and did just add a quart to the top. I use fabric so on self feeders so once a week 1/2 gallon shouldn't hurt or a gallon to drain. Testing has begun...

i agree those things are great for confirming hunches and second opinions!! keep the tip clean after each use and they last forever!!

Kawi, if you don't have one and are forced to buy one i suggest a long version so you can get the sensor right where ya want without poking holes in the fabric.

thats the one i have, the only down side was it has no hole or hook to hang, i had to make a cradle myself. i read about somebody making a hanging cradle from the packaging it came in though.

T/u, ordered with Thursday arrival. I'll look into package for creating a hanger. It will help confirm my thoughts and see just how far moisture is moving up inside the fabric pots. ;pass

Otay self feeders testing made it 3 days before filling them up. The auto is drinking faster than the photos and I noticed pistils the other day already. So I'm going to try a little lst on her even though she's not even a foot tall yet. So is it time to adjust her feeding to bloom nutes? Photos are doing good and will let them veg before some lst is done.
Amazing grow! I am also growing one auto with 31 F1s in a 100x100 tent. They are on early veg! Wish all the best with the medicineIMG_20250225_225456.jpg

Meter arrived and it's basically dry all the down until maybe 2" from the bottom. The stretch has been minimal compared to past with watering to drain.

Auto is finishing up at her own pace and very tight structure.
Clones are progressing nicely. Started lst on 1 clone since she's growing a little wild
Photos flowers developing and moving along.

When I run autos I have always scrogged them. I built one out of 1/2” PVC, box of screws and
My auto is a short girl, maybe due to i went with self feeders this round. I really like to low maintenance, but have noticed plants seem shorter. Next time I'll add about half gallon of nutes every 3 days from the top as in 3/5gal fabric only the bottom 2" are moist leaving 8/10" pretty dry. Learning curve, here's the auto strawberry cheesecake

Observation - self feeders are great and the only difference i noticed was the stretch wasn't much. That could be a good thing for indoor growing. Only raised light 1 time with plenty of space.
Clones are doing great and will flip Saturday.
Auto is still hanging on, any day now for the chop.
Main girls are looking good to me. Not the huge bushes I prefer but as long as flowers swell it will be good. Just note to self to veg another week or at least to 13 nodes before pinch.

What strain is that flowering auto again?
She looks good enough to take out on a date before getting in her lol

Good morning, well 1st off i do a lot of reading and moved my auto into the 12x12 tent to finish. Pulled her tight branches down to let light in and she's doing well.
Clones from purple ghost candy are amazing the way they have no set pattern and spread out after a little lst. Looking forward to see what the smaller one does.
Peyote forum clones in 1 5gal pot will be moved over to 12x12 as they are thriving. Actually pinched the biggest to slow her down.
2 main girls in flower are looking good progressing.
Cut low hanging branch on banana jealousy and made 2 clones that were in flower. There inside with my 75 root riots with seeds for outdoor vegetable garden. Each one has 3 seeds in it to help the odds.

Moved 2 more over to the 12x12 tent with just 1 clone left to veg. She's the last of the purple ghost candy clones I did from flower. Testing the ac infinity bigger self feeders to see how they work.
Off topic, seeds planted on the 6th and already have cucumbers sprouting with a few more almost there.

Beautiful day in the neighborhood. Everything seems to be going great. 1 clone still vegging and she's going to be a wild thing.
Clones just moved are stretching and doing well.
Auto hasn't reached day 70 but she's ready.
The other 2 ladies are doing great, smelling good.
