Maybe someday, but I read this guys reply to a feral cat search, that he has a cat that is like Ghost for 5 years with no touchy lol.

I did manage to stroke her tail, twice this morning before I fed them some canned food. She is a hungry cat and loves the canned food.
but it was unusual that I was fast enough to catch her, she's fast, with eyes in back of her head. I would go to do this many times and failed, lol.

She will eat the treats but not addicted like Panda is.
So now I will try a different tactic, to stroke that tail before feeding, if I'm fast enough to. Then maybe she will get used to the touching part.

Sky likes to play hard and does get rough at times. She was not treated well before we got her so she does not know how to play but she’s learning. Her n Panda like each other and Sky will walk up to Panda an give him a kiss then turn n walk away.
Not so with Shady n Ghost they keep thier eyes on Sky n keep thier distance.
Likewise Sky keep her distance from them also.

We adopted a female 5 yrs ago right as covid was in full swing....ended up she was pregnant and because of the covid they weren't doing any fixing. Shortley after she gave birth to 9 babies...1 didn't make it. So we gifted away all but 3 of the babies and had 4. Well then along comes a stray that just stays...and another and another. Usually pick up a new member every winter. Some more domesticated than others.... We found homes for some and some have stayed with us.....we are at 7 now. All with very distinct personalities.....
It seems to take a year before everybody is comfortable with everybody and a few just didn't fit and we found new homes for them.
We love them all and the joy they bring outweighs the pains in the ass that come with them at times.

Ya I feed a stray tabby and a few others when they show up but with the dog I can’t do that. Best I can do is feed them and give em a shelter.

Smart for a cat too, he walk with me through the woods following the trail, He likes his stop and sniffs and as long as I let him do that hes good. As soon as I see hes broken off the sniff I can redirect him but if hes a sniffing I gotta leave him be or he gets stubborn and goes on strike

Green grass??? its only April.....you must be in a sun belt...fkin green grass in April, next you'll have flowers while we're still dogging snow & freezing rains....Says 10C today...about 50f ....just bitching I guess, its been a long winter

Grass might be green but it's dam cold/windy today.
39F here atm but feels like 20. We in the roller coaster stage of weather.
Goes from high 60's to snow, snow is mostly south of us tho.
Hilly country gets it till June but Niagara Falls is in a sweet spot and we always warmer
than the rest of the county. Most snow storms miss us too.

3 weeks into this grow and I'm starting to see the light.
Fed them some much needed nutes today. I sorta forgot that I'm growing in mostly Coco Coir not soil
like I've done in the past. So they need the nutes from the get go.
I think that's why they "string bean" on me and look like palm trees.
Leafing out pretty good now.
One fell over, I think it lost some strength from lack of nutes, Propped it up and recovered just fine. (Front n Center)
The lil one in the back left gal pot is coming along nicely, better than expected, nice and short with nice leaves.
Only 1wk 3d old that's the Blue Dream replacement. (Pic is blocked by plant in front).

I hooked up the air and turned it on for the 4 plants in AP's, for a few minutes, just to give them a boost of oxygen.
I'm thinking of hooking up the lines and going full AP by next week if they look good enough.
The one BD will have to wait an extra wk or two.
I leave the water in the pans for extra hummi in there.
Was 34% this morning with the steam on full. The pan water boosts it up to 50%, I'll take it.

I was just watching something the other day on the distance the light is from the plants contributing to its stretching. I've always just gone with lux if I want 15,000 lux over the plants I've adjusted my power output so I have 15,000 on top of the canopy. I maybe 3-4 ft away but lights power compensates, or so I thought. Next grow I'm going to try and keep my light within 18" and have my power turned down. They said I may need to adjust height 1-2 a week to keep at 18" and my lux at 15,000.

Yep, when all is said and done, I go by Lux.
I started mine at 20k and 12 inches above when I switched to the main light, If I see any leaf curling, I cut back the light.
It’s at 27K now and 18 inches above.
Just checked and lowered the light lux a couple, and centered the pots better.
I check leaf temp too I like it at or near 77

Ta Da Catio done!
My Grandson, Branden, helped me, was the perfect day to do it.
After getting the base steady and on pavers, we started the build.
First was sorting out the parts so we won't make any mistakes
Picture directions only.
Building the kitty box 4 different times was a pain, but we got it!!
All the rest was pretty straight forward and easy with a helper.
No back or bottom so used a old panel from the old fence for both, did I say I save every thing? haha
I still have to put in the run, from my bathroom window to the catio.
We just finished, when it started to rain. Whew!


Yes we have flowers!! Almost.

Plants are doing very well since the last feed.
I'm liking how they are looking now. Much better.
Light at 18" height and 36%, Temp 80, Hummi 50%

The new BD is bottom left, small and bushy and 11 days old,
I think the premature tranfere to the larger pot stunted her a bit too.
She's not stretching but love the bushyness.

My wife is cooking the traditional ham and her fav, baked beans with candied sweet potatoes Oh My!
Anyway, I have to get on the run to the catio but it's raining off and on today.
I also need to start the plumbing for the AP's and get them hooked up, some time this week, for sure.

I cut a piece of plywood to fit the window then put a large cat door in the plywood. I replaced one this year I still have to weather seal it in place. I built a small catio then attached it to the window frame then wrapped the wire fenced catio in some clear vinyl to wind proof the cat door. I can leave the window open just about year round. When it gets to -10-20 c just close it at night, I still let them out if the want through the day. Its weather sealed enough so I don't get wind through it. Even at -20 with snow on the ramps they still go out and sniff the air for a bit and get panicky when I close it up, meowing and crying. They might not go out but they don't want the window closed.

Yes we went to my son inlaw's today for a ham lunch about 10 kids climbing & snotting on me, whats you bet I'm going to come down with a bug in the next few days....I love the kids just their dam cooties get me. Last time was Christmas and I was sick for 2 months afterwards. They're trying to kill me with kid cooties..

Took me longer than I thought it would, Whew!
Seems the CO2 always rises when I'm working in the room.
It's usually around 550 but rises to about 1100.

No leaks and no problems yet haha.
Just glad they are on Auto feed now.
AP's on, Air on, nutes are running and No Leaks yaaaeeeeee!

I turned on two more fans and set the exhaust at 2 of 10 for now.
I'm thinking of topping but want more foilage, so maybe next week.

Not pretty but it functions well enough. They can't get out and the alley cat "Boots"
can't get in, although he tries. Climbing the back of the fence, hopping on the roof and
scours each corner to find a weakness.

Not to happy with the chicken wire and prob will re-do with something else and also might move it over some so it's straight out from the window.
Did not want to move the big rock but wifey says not to, just leave it where it is. She's always right.

Cats love it but Shady not feeling well. I think it's a hairball problem,
He's hiding but moving around, drinking but not eating except for yesterday and today a lil bit so far.

Let's see, they are 4 wks - 4 days old. Was thinking of flipping on the 5th wk, trying to push it a little.
Hope to harvest by 1st wk in July avoid the brunt of the heat, I hope.
They really got bushy. Topped 4 in the large pots, not sure I will top the smaller ones.
Temp = 80 +-1 and nightime = 73 +-1
PH = idk didn't measure or adjust this time around
RH = 54.8 gets down to 50 at times
Par = between 450 and 600 (except the plants in the middle 2.9 gal. pots.)
Lux = between 32 and 35
Light = 46% @ 16" (Tried it at 50% but seemed a lil high and leaves told me to turn it down.)
Changed the light time from 18 / 6 to 16 / 8 a couple of days ago.
Sunrise / Sunset still not working.
Air pumps on high.
Put more dirt/compost on top.
Turned off lil fans, running one larger one that occilates better, with better air movement.
I will have to figure out what to do with the smaller plants and attached pots (2.9g).
Maybe move em to the outside? I'm afraid they will get swallowed up by the larger plants.
Might have to pull them out, put them on a pan and hand feed them. ugh!!

I'm using Athena (Core and Grow ) but started at half strength about 600ppm and increased to 850ppm
Full strength is bout 1200ppm, it seemed to me to much but that's what the chart says to do.
I'll ease it up with every feed bucket (2g @ a time) till it gets to full strength, bout 4 gal in each feed tank now.

Just wanted to quickly update:
Shady is sooooo much better today and so is my heart!
He stopped hiding and talked to me and looked at me today.
He was hungry so fed him treats, which is what he wanted, then his regular cat food (Friskey's canned)
and ate some of it 3 times today.
Also walking around the house again, also jumping on my bed .
Here he is taking a cat nap on my bed.
Beautiful day here sunny and mild 70ish.
It's been 6 days now, Soooo Relieved.

Looks good, there's always upgrades and adjustments that can get made but she's done, cats can get in and out. I'll be interesting to see the how the wild cat and the house cats interact. There could be a lot of screaming going on. Qnight howls at his neighbor, it makes the other 2 scatter when Qnights on the Prowl .

Your plants all look good, I like that palm tree look you got going there, fk lollypopping grow palm tree style.lol... I'm thinking of extending my veg time and maybe try mainlining with the bunch I have going now. I'll let them grow up 4-5 segments then chop off at where her first set of arms come out and tie them down. I see some nice plants grown that style and I'll need to keep them down and spread out with my new plans to have 8 plants in 4 pots with the dividers and airdomes.

Panda loves it but he loves outdoors and sneaks out past me as I'm opening the door to go out. Darn Cat!!
Then I have to run and catch him.
Ghost also likes it but Shady don't like outside so much.
Once I took Shady out, on a leash and he heard a loud nose, got scared and was clawing at the screen door to get back in.
Now he looks out the screen door window but that's all.
Panda on the other hand meows n begs to be let out if he see's me on the porch through the screen door.
So far, so good "boots", the alley cat, just lollygags around but only once in a while but she, (Ghost), is not in heat, sooooo haha.
I'll close that thing down when the howlin' starts and no more outside for them, till it's done!

This is the 2nd time they grew like that and I did nothing to them.
I think it's the dirt combo and lack of nutes, cause I'm used to waiting 2 weeks before first feed, forgeting most of the material is coco + Pearlite.
The one that did not palm tree is the new short BD, which I fed right away, did not do the palm tree thing.
Gonna flip them Sat., that will make them 5 wks + 4 days old except for the short BD which will be 4 wks old on the nose.

But I have done the lolli pop thing in the past, most of the time,

And still I have no sunset - sunrise. Even though it's set at 15min.
I think they sent me a broken set cause the par never worked either, till they sent a new one.
I should contact them but keep thinking I'm to dumb to figure it out, so I procrastinate.
I almost don't give a rats ass at this point.

Flip Day!
Turned the light up to 58% and it's 12" above the canapy.
Turned the humidifier off, hummi still at 55.
Did some LST's, boy am I outta practice.
Moved em around and put the smaller 2 pots in the back, then thought, I shoulda put em in front but wtf, too tired now.
Besides the lines would not be long enough.
After moving, one valve it started to not work and was flooding a bit, tried to fix but nada, had a spare and changed it. Fixed!
Gotta remember where I put those little pucks I brought. haha good luck.
Plants doing well, I brought some Cal-Mag I used it today cause they look defiecent to me.
Rainy day so had time to work in the room.
Will straighten' out more tomorrow and remove the steamer and some other stuff.
Everything seems to be going well.
New nute mix now just using Core and Bloom with a lil Cal-Mag and @ wk 3 some PK will be added.

Turned the humidifier off, hummi still at 55.
Did some LST's, boy am I outta practice.
Moved em around and put the smaller 2 pots in the back, then thought, I shoulda put em in front but wtf, too tired now.
Besides the lines would not be long enough.
After moving, one valve it started to not work and was flooding a bit, tried to fix but nada, had a spare and changed it. Fixed!
Gotta remember where I put those little pucks I brought. haha good luck.
Plants doing well, I brought some Cal-Mag I used it today cause they look defiecent to me.
Rainy day so had time to work in the room.
Will straighten' out more tomorrow and remove the steamer and some other stuff.
Everything seems to be going well.
New nute mix now just using Core and Bloom with a lil Cal-Mag and @ wk 3 some PK will be added.

Hey, Gmorning, Looking good Plants are very pretty this morning, a nice green to them. Your going to have to stake them or lattice in flower I thinks. Nice big plants to flip.

Mornin Pipe, ya I got nets too but never used them cause I think they would be a pain.
It’s gonna get crowded very fast and I might have to move them again, much to hard with a net or two.
I got some garden stakes, hope I have enough.
Might have to order more lol.

Hey, Gmorning, I get bamboo garden stakes at the Dollar Store, you get about 5-6 ,4ft poles $2.99 up here. This is the season for them, along with some Green garden wire I use for tying them together.

I just transplanted my 8 sprouts into 4 Autopots with dividers and air domes last night. I know I'm going to run into humidity problems so I ordered another dehue a 50 pint this time. I hope it works better than what I have running now. I can't get my humidity below 59% atm with my existing 35pint running in Turbo so I broke down and ordered a larger one. Then I'll have 3 a 30, 35 & 50 pint I hope I don't have to use them all at once...$$$$$ elect bill

Yep turned my light up to 65% to see how they like it.
I have no idea what high limit on this light is. Someone said they only had to go 80% and not any higher for their's.

I have one divider just to see how it's made and how it works but it don't fit too good with the air domes.
Got to cut out a half circle on the bottom part I guess.
I would love to do that next grow, this fall.

Hummi is bad here too, it's at 50% in the room now. Not too bad since there are no flowers yet.
But in two weeks I'll have to fire up the de-hummi for sure.
I really cannot afford to buy a bigger one so hope the one I have will do.
It worked good in the past so here's hopin' it'll keep it down.

Only prob I have now is figuring out how much nutes to put in the mix.
I brought some PK (flower inhancer) and Mag Pro cause I remember that being a lil bit of a problem last grow.
Don't want to mix a dif MP from another co.
I also threw in a tsp of epsom salts in each tank.
The PPM is at 1200 and I know that sounds high but the chart says do it so I do it.
If they show any signs of burning I'll cut it back with a pitcher of water.
I use plain ol' tap water and have not PH'ed this grow.
The leaves show some slight MP issues, so I put in some and will wait to see what happens.

I was there and no stakes in the garden area yet but will keep checking, that's a good deal.
They usualy have the ties too but nada.
This local store, within walking distance from my house is crappy but can't get to the better one.

Big Fan leaves on this one (BD)! That's the only one I know the identity of haha.
