alright you guys got me intrigued about the Lardera beans
Gonna order a sample pack this week
So far I've gotten a few bags from onyx and one from atlas coffee
The onyx was ok but tasted weird to me, I guess that's what happens when you drink grocery store coffee your whole life then try the real stuff
I ended up liking the 8 o clock coffee that was 8 bucks a bag at the store over the Onyx coffee so my palette must suck

8 o'clock original is pretty good, got a big sack of their beans going right now ☕🐸IMG_20250428_083905~2.jpg

So the Natural Anaerobic was the last sample, and the second one I didn't care for, but in all fairness I'm going to try it again as I ate a cheese plate not long before I brewed it up

The other one I didn't care for was the Castillo Washed, also the French Roast, which is usually a favorite of mine but I would try the French Roast again, next order I'll get a sampleScreenshot_20250430-154258.jpg

i was also slightly disappointed in the french roast, as it was the one i thought i would enjoy the most. so maybe it wasn't just you. i really like the 8 oclock beans, cheap too!!! this one here is my fav of theirs...

i kinda liked the Castillo Washed and the other one you didn't like the natural anaerobic. that was one of the last ones i had before i ran out.
i should have ordered it sooner, i forgot how long it takes with that shipping partner they use. it's been less than an hour away for days now.. grr! haha

Gonna have to try those beans! I like the 8:00 better than a lot of the other brands I've tried.

I've got a Lardera order coming tomorrow, but I forgot exactly what I ordered LOL I probably drink too much coffee as it is ☕🐸

Got a pound of Golden Honey delivered yesterday 😋☕ and they had the 2 oz sample size of French Roast for $1 so I got a handful of those too, because even if it wasn't my favorite coffee it's strong dark roast will make a fine Frozen drink come the warmer weather🍹

Good idea I could sure use some because I just finished stacking the last of my firewood and I'm stiff and sore, I could use RSO and a hot tub right about now 😩
 
Beachwalker, when i got my second set of samples two of them were different this time. there was no french roast and no espresso roast, instead i was sent these two that i didn't have the first time...

I'm drinking the geisha caturra right now and I really like it, let me know what you think of it! (I don't drink decaf)

I tried what you mentioned re: a different email but it keeps taking me back to my original account, so I wasn't able to get the sample deal again 😕

so i just went looking now and there are only eight(8) available.. it must change by what they have in stock..

but what you have to do is go to their site and click account then click log out. then click the sample link

from there you should be able to choose a first time customer and add a new email. i paid with the same and had it sent to that same name and same address. email was the only variable. hope it works for ya!!

Ahhhh....! Will give that a try, thanks for the heads up,I'll try that next time they have a whole bunch of samples available

I look at their site almost every day because it changes all the time they have price drops like the French roast for a dollar and the yellow honey I think was 15 or 16 down from 24 and often things are marked down to $10 but as you say it does change frequently
