Bandit on a Safari and I'm Hunting Unicorns

Would be cool if they were tiedye 😋

Remember when Greenhouse used to paint their seeds like Easter Eggs?

Pepperidge Farms remembers 🤣

The things that have come and gone in this game called Let's Grow Some Pot has sure been a wild ride at times.
The good thing though is when you compare them to something like hermie white beans or underdeveloped white, they're not that. More like albino.
I dropped all that came in my pouches yesterday so we'll see what comes of it. One is called Super Fun Haze and that made me giggle. If there was ever a strain name cut out for me that's it.

Yeah that vape thread is uh...well it's a thread for sure!
Influencer stuff and single topic participants of a forum are not my jam. I'll put it like that.
I had done some off site snooping around and landed on the lobo. Came back here and used the search to see if anybody else was too and happy to see Zen using one.
Times and places to partake are very specific for me so it takes a certain type of piece that may or may not be for others and I'm fine with that.
The Lobo is kinda like the Pivot for me. I use the lobo different than Zen but we still enjoy what it offers so that's kinda cool that it can adapt to a lifestyle and not a lifestyle adapt to it. That's really big for me.
I use the Pivot different from probably everybody because I've removed the cap and use a glass straw from the Lobo pretty much like a terp pen in a dab jar but reversed so think dab jar heats up but pen stays cool is how I work that.

Another reason I like the Lobo because I can take it to the doorstep of combustion. I'm not a vape guy. The vape flavor sucks to me and I'm not looking to save ABV weed for edibles or anything else. I wanna burn it the fuck down like it was a pipe and flame but clean and filtered thru cold, water. Lobo comes very close to that and gets hi marks in a category from me others may give a low mark IDK, but the Lobo is great for what I want in a herb vape
That seed coating is clever...

Agreed. I just happened to be looking at the time as the free Utillian 722 warranty replacement was shit. Kept over hearing and DID burn the weed. Wouldn’t always turn on.

Same. But I didn’t see any trusted reviews. When I saw the plug here I looked up more reviews and noted that it used a lot of glass accessories and was easy to clean. The fact it was cheaper than my old one and had replaceable batteries sold me.

Exactly! It fits my needs and works okay for sharing. Did I mention easy to clean was a big deal? 🤔😂

Agreed. My sons all about the bong and not big on vaping. My wife likes joints over all else. I want convenience and something I can smoke inside that doesn’t stink it up. But it has to last and give me my money’s worth. So far, so good. It’s my day to day most often used device.

Cool. I use the short black glass mouth piece as a joint holder or backup in case I break the longer one, again.

We don’t use the ABV anymore, other than for the garden soil. I’d rather smoke and just eat the chocolate. 🤣

I tried Stoney’s idea with hash but didn’t really find it worked.

We’re about to try your diamond idea Bandit. Just enough left to top off a bed of flower. That’s usually how we smoke hash in the pipe too.

Wife will be happy, she likes it cranked up high so she gets lots of smoke. 😝

I loaded the capsule like it was a diamond sandwich. Bottom layer was herb, middle was sugar, and top it with more flower and pack it down. The airflow will be restricted but you can still pull it.
I set it for 430 and start hitting with a minute left in the countdown. Just sipping it is fine for me. When it buzzes off turn it back on letting it build up and hit, build up and hit and you'll taste the decline toward the end. That's when I pull the mouthpiece and clear the glass then dump the capsule before everything cools. All the mess will be inside the capsule and leave the lobo clean.

🔥

I'm setting up my flood and drain outdoors and ran into a kooky issue.
There's so much air in this soil it floats and my bags won't stay down ;gr

That seed coating is clever...

It was a marketing gimmick during an interesting era of indoor growing. A handful of cannabis cup Amsterdam winners were trying to separate themselves from the next and this was one of the gimmicks that came from it.
The coating was bullshit and actually made it harder to germinate or made the seeds duds. They were then includeed as a funky little novelty becoming almost like a baseball card but for weed and not meant to be grown with seed orders. You could get a free pack from Attitude if you ordered something else from Greenhouse seeds. After the freebies were gone it was never brought up again

Oh nevermind then lol

430*, flower bed, scoop of batter (Out of diamonds). Good for two rounds sessions with the wife.

Tried the sandwich idea next capsule, just after dinner. Also good for two sessions with the three of us.

It was a nice level up. Second hit of the same capsule tasted better than normal too.

Only the second time we’ve bought stuff life this so a nice treat.

Sweet chill spot.

Thanks brother! Gonna do more work today getting it better. Gotta find a way to beat this oncoming heat and a plunge tub is my solution!

Yep that's how black I take mine too. Maybe even a little darker and the diamonds will melt down into it.
That combo just tears me up so much more than smoking one or the other.

I like the reed, bamboo or whatever wrap. Did you install the liner because black was going to heat the water too much, or is there some other purpose(s)?

Thanks man!
Yeah that's a roll of reed I've had for almost 20 years and finally found a use for it.
Blue was chosen for several reasons, mainly because pools are often blue and I wanted a pool look more than a pond look to it. If it was black I'd probably want fish in there too. 😋
I almost coated it with epoxy pool paint and considered tiling it but opted for an above ground pool liner to maybe simplify + I wasn't even sure if I'd like this so to also keep the investment minimal.
Even though I'll chlorinate it like a hot tub, algae will not grow on blue surfaces so that's one reason why pools are always blue.
And lastly, calming aesthetics. Blue is a calming and cooling color. If you sit in a blue, purple, or green environment you get calm, cool, and peaceful.
Conversely, if you sit in a red, yellow, or orange environment you get warm and easily upset.
If you sit in black, you get depressed and uncomfortable.

That's the mock up to fix the leaks and other issues I had. Maybe next year I actually do tile it now.
But for now I'll tear it down and level it off with some sand and clean up all the trim and reed work then set th water chemistry and should be good for Summer!
Oh I also have to make a cover but that's no big deal I hope. Will just get a sheet of foam insulation and cut it to fit and wrap in the reed material.

Nice one brother 👍 a man and a dream 👍 👌 🙌

It will be a liquid Lazyboy.
Maybe a TV next? 😋

🔥

Still buzzin' from an awesome Sunday off. Wife even got tore up on a 10mg gummy.🤣
Just feelin' my feels today!!!!
Got the race day bug yesterday and am scrambling looking to go to another race. Wish Texas wasn't so early. Maybe Atlanta?
Hon, is the CC paid off? How many frequent flyer miles we got? Hey you know that $300 I just made on ebay....I got an idea!

I've taken in some Dale stuff since the beginning and have grown to admire him. Mostly old races I've watched.
I knew of him but didn't pay any mind to racing because I was so invested in football.
Kinda thought he was surly dick anytime I saw him on Sportscenter and Gordon was just some d-bag pretty boy.

When I got into racing and finally knowing more about them, I realized how far off I was. Well Dale could be a dick, but in a good way I suppose lol.
The rivalry was funny now that I realize it was all for show.
I won't collect anything Dale Sr even though sometimes I do think about a diecast. Just weird because he also died on the track and I don't wanna newbie that up with any kind of ignorant disrespect.
Will be watching the new documentary about him when all episodes are out. From what I understand coming from that is his widow is a real piece of work and won't even let the kids come visit the grave on her property.

I have become a huge fan of Dale Jr though. Not even in regards to his driving years but what he's done and does for the sport, it's history, and how he's helped me understand and love racing. He has a show called Lost Speedways I rewatch often but I don't get into his podcasts.
It's one thing to know history but another to be a part of it and grow up in it. So for all the times Sr had to go to the hauler to explain himself or all the things behind the scenes, Jr was there with a front row ticket. And the fact he shares that is pretty baddass.
So yep, never saw him live but do have one of his diecast in my collections, root for all his Xfinity drivers, and I probably have more JRM swag than even Briscoe or Larson gear.

Not far off..not far at all

Nothing wrong with a good keep sake!
the rivalry between Rusty Wallace was always good for paint tradin, couple others as well..

Never really thought to care really haven't really had time for alot other than present day shit. It should be interesting to check out.
really for me it was about the cars/drivers/tracks...different time...

Yeah what I've noticed is Wallace has been kinda put aside during the rivalry but yeah he was right there with them. Rudd and others too.
From what I've watched, the 90s seem to be the golden era where things came together. Lots of good drivers and teams, huge brands sponsoring everything, sold out tracks, and fast AF race cars.
History is my hobby. Mostly world wars and ancient civilizations but NASCAR has made it's way in there because of it's insane and colorful history. The people in it mostly and the crazy shit like moonshine stills under a track. I really enjoy learning about that stuff.
The Wood Brothers team really fascinates me for some reason.
Like last year when Harrison Burton took the checker at Daytona....Dude I was yelling and jumping up and down so happy for that car and team!
I had met a few of them a year earlier at Chicago when we were staying in the same hotel as some teams. Bought the kids a beer and they had a terrible weekend then but later to see them win. Oh man. Dog were barking and the cats ran and hid they didn't know what to think we were going so crazy over that.
Live racing is what hooks me. I know it's different for guys like you and Stoney and others I converse with. It's changed and I get it's not what many fell in love with. I'm the same way with college football today and how in only 3 years we're now NFL lite, paying players and building rosters like we're pros. It's fun but I miss the amateurism of the sport and it's never coming back.
I think the same for racing but there's still a ton of good in there. It just needs to be experienced at the track to hook them back in.
And who knows man, but this 23X1/FRM lawsuit vs NASCAR could really change the sport taking it away from the France family and making it more of a true league where owners get say in everything like all the other pro sports. That will surely change the sport. Then there's the EV factor and hybrids on the way. Maybe not in Cup but we saw them in Indy on Sunday so it's coming in one way or another. I'll reserve judgement and keep and open mind until it happens and in the meantime just try to enjoy what I can from it.
IDK if I can get to Atlanta though. May have to just settle for Texas options and get into some dirt track stuff to get my fix.

Love the darts. I still have a set or two tucked away. Box of tips somewhere too. 🤔

Hell yeah we play the hell out of darts at work.
You get into axe throwing?
That's just as fun if not more. I got a axe throwing game out in the backyard and have a ton of fun with it almost every weekend. Also have a basektball hoop in the backyard but if my grill is lit it's pretty much automatic there will be some axe throwing before the meat hits the fire 😋

🔥

Got some progress in the garden to share.
Pyrethrin bomb has been unleashed and I'm about 2 days past that. Not sure if they were infested with anything but just as a safety precaution I fumigated them.
Feeling good about the soil mix I made. Not burning them up and they're still growing. I saved a ton of money on my soil going DIY but also added work to it so there was a trade off. I'm just happy it's doing well and not giving me any weird drama.

Growth has no intention of slowing down and there's no signs of sex on anything yet either.
I've already dropped the tables down probably a foot and it wont be long before they're pancaked on the floor then the headroom factor comes into play. It's crazy to think I can flip a plant less than 1 foot tall and it might finish at close to 6 feet. That's a sativa for ya!
Seeing a few things that have me interested. Mainly a long leaf specimen, perhaps a Bac Hao pheno if my lingo is up to date and I may have a weeping willow, perhaps 2.
Males will not be killed right off. The stuff from Vietnam has a great aroma of fresh tobacco. Smells like what I think a cigar factory in Cuba would smell like so I may collect some pollen here and work this stuff. It's too unique to just kill and toss

@Bandit420 I’ve thrown hatchets at the cottage, broke a handle or two, but I was a kid and got in trouble if caught. Maybe tried it a few times since. Not even sure we can do that in the city…? I liked knives as a kid. Threw them a lot. Even bought my son a set of throwing knives a few years ago when he showed an interest.

Pellet and BB guns were more my fun. We couldn’t play with tools but unsupervised low power firearms were perfectly fine. 🤣

Looks great to my noob eyes! I love that first photo showing the long leafs on that fan. It's visually appealing from that angle and looks super healthy. I don't know why some things grab me. Probably some kind of aesthetic draw or something instictive. I don't have any experience, but I keep scrolling back up to look at that one :)

Is "weeping willow" lingo for a trait a plant is displaying, a specific strain, or...?
