Kuwl...... MH FC 8000 EVO + 6 Plants

Thanks, that clears it up a bit for me.
So, you do use the Bloom in the veg stage, I never did that before.

Ordered my soil today and now figuring out what to order and how much.

I'm going to get the 3 one gal. jugs of Flora Grow, Bloom and Micro along with the CaliMagic and Qt size of Diamond Nectar and Floralicious Plus.
I might get the Flora Nectar for the veg before they go into the AP.s. Not sure bout that one yet.
Also might try their FloraKlean Salt Clearing product too.

Next I'm trying to figure out how many pots do I want? 4 or 5 or 6.
I do have another system still in the box but it's a bit dif from AP's.
It's the Spider Farmer 4 pot wick system I was going to use.
Either I use one or two pots from that system of buy another one or two pots
from AP. Which would cost me another $200 with all the other peices to buy with it.

Then there is one more option.
I could use the 4 3.9g pots I have and put in the dividers to make it 6 or 8.

Only Panda the tuxedo cat goes out on a leash with me.
He is always bugging me to go out and occasionally sneaks out when I open the front door.
Then my wife panics and I have to catch him haha.
Shady the other black cat does not like it outside and runs for the door to get back inside at the slightest noise.
The twins are getting bigger and run around the house like the devil.

Sky attacked a skunk last night when my wife let her out a 1:30am to pee.
She got the dog to let the skunk go, as she had it in her mouth.
Then she had to bath her for the smell and oh my, I slept thru the whole thing lol.
I leave kibble out at night for the feral cats (about 4-6, Marbles the taby mother and 2 cow kittens and one young female taby I call buddy an a black cat and a grey cat)
Guess I'll have to not leave that kibble out at night.

I got no time to start yet and have picked no seeds yet, still in the early stages.
I have a Skunk story, I'm not sure I've told it to you or not but ya skunks and me go way back. I grew kinda fond of a whiff or 2. It lingers for a long time when fully embedded in clothing & or in my case a sleeping bag.

I just ordered the stuff above then I hit google to see if they would blend together or if there were any overlaps. I initially added Gypsum to the query and it doesn't work an adds too much calcium so I took it out and asked again.

is there any overlap adding Azomite, Yucca, wollsanite, added mycos to soil for cannabis growing

Putting it all together

Combining Azomite, Yucca, wollastonite, and mycorrhizae fungi involves minimal functional overlap because they serve different purposes in the soil ecosystem
. While some functions, like nutrient availability, are improved by multiple amendments, they use different mechanisms to achieve this. Using them together is a common practice for advanced growers looking to maximize soil health and plant vigor.

No-overlap functions

These are functions that are distinct to each product, and will not cause conflict when used together.

After a few more searches it looks like Myco's doesn't like my nutes at all and I'm just wasting money so Ill just use it in my first starter cup before I start feeding.

I just got my soil today, wifey not happy "how much did that cost" as I struggled with the Sunshine #4, 50 Lb. bale (3 cu. ft. $58 @ Walmart delivered free).
I also ordered the Gal. size of Flora Grow, Bloom and Micro + QT. of Diamond Nectar ($130).
MarsHydro got some of my $ too $31 for a Smart Timer - Duel outlet App controled. (Gotta have it haha)

Now I got to figure out how many pots 4 or 6. Not sure yet cause the extra 2 AP 3.9g pots will cost me $110 (just the pots n trays)

I looked at the Dividers that I brought and they do not work cause of the bubble dome, so that's out.

So it's either 4 plants or spend a lil $ and do 6. Not sure yet.
Going to look at the seeds next and man, to pick 4-6 strains out of all them seeds wow.
I know I liked the White Truffles alot but the yeild was disappointing. Maybe better luck if I try them one more time in a 3.9g pot.
The others I will have to dive into so we'll see.

OK things are rolling. gtg.

My current grow is using the last of my Sunshine Mix #4. My local grow store that carried it went out of business in 2024 and my local hardware stores stopped carrying it. I’ve got two bales of ProMix to try going forward.

I was going to use Pro Mix again but I wanted to get a better mix and Mother Earth GroundSwell was not available.
I seen someone in here using SM #4 so I looked it up and Price was comparable with ME, then seen it on sale so I bit.
The bail was a bit more than I need tho hahaha the Pro Mix are in much more managable bails @ $20 per idk we'll see if it makes any difference.

Not sure I have to add anything ( Worm Castings, Azmonite, Gypsome, Perlite, Vermiculite, Biochar or Compost ) to the Sunshine Mix #4 or is it good to go as is?

Sunshine mix#4 is to me the same stuff as Promix. I add the minerals and worm castings regardless of the soil brand. I think it helps a lot in veg and with it I don't need to feed early. I take my 1 gal pots and load soil into my bin 6 large gal soil,3 gal perlite 2 gal worm castings, 1 large tbs azomite/gal soil, 1 large tbs Gypsum / gal soil. I was using Mycos as well but recent reading says I'm killing it with my synthetic nutes.

I have 6 heads above ground 2 are 3" tall the others just cracking the surface. My flowering girls are a bit over 8 weeks so in 3 more weeks I hope to have these little sprouts up and ready to transplant into the AP's

With the dividers I'm having growth problems with 1 plant in each pot with 2 of my 4 pots. I have an Alaska Thunderfuck standing 5 ft then bent over but its twin is only 3 feet and not as healthy. Same as with my Grape skunk. 1 is nice and has nice colorful buds the other short and thinner buds. THE 4 Zamal dreams in 2 pots with dividers are doing well together but I'm thinking that unless I'm growing out reg seeds I won't plant 2 seeds in one pot with dividers again. 1 plant suffers.

Your growing in autopots probally wouldnt hurt to throw in a little more perlite

I'm going to add Yucca powder to my soil this run. Its a wetting agent that may help draw more nutes up into the soil. My soil on top is dry and I'd like it to have more moisture I'll add 1 tsp
1760710502498.png of it per gal. I think it was recommended at 15ml/1tsp/cu/ft

Surfactants, or wetting agents, are a valuable tool in the garden. Some of the best wetting agents are derived from yucca, which has a high saponin content. This natural compound of the Yucca Schidigera plant helps the plant to overcome water stress and when extracted, can be used to improve the soil's absorption and dispersal of both water and nutrients by reducing the natural surface tension. This allows plant roots to absorb more of what is available to them as the water and nutrients are distributed more evenly.

Yucca powder reduce unwanted salt buildup by reducing dry pocket formation within the soil and washing concentrated salts past the root zone (they have also been known to help keep drip emitters clean). In the case of excessive mineral buildup, yucca powders will reduce the amount of water necessary to flush the soil. Saponins and complex carbohydrates present in yucca provide slow-release food sources for many soil-dwelling microorganisms. As a result, many compost tea recipes use yucca. Yucca commonly contain micronutrients such as iron, zinc, manganese and copper as well.

Anyone who has mixed their own soil, has seen how much effort it takes to get the peat to take up the moisture- it seems to resist water absorption. However mix a bit of yucca powder into your soil mix and you will quickly see a change in the rate of water uptake.
This product is approved for organic use.
Application rate:
  • Mix in - 1 tsp per cubic foot of soil.

Dam ur a good salesman haha and I’m sold on it so I added it to my growing list of stuff I need for this grow.

I used small pots (2.2g) on a couple of my plants last grow and they were markedly smaller than the rest of the plants in the 3.9 gallon pots. That’s why I’m not using this time and was thinking of going with the larger
6.6 gal. Pots for bout $65 for one so I’m thinking hard on getting just one,

Its all cheap enough to play with, The bags of minerals last quite a while and if a little bit helps then why not...eh? I was just a bit worried about overlap and nute toxicity if I add too much of any one element but google says I'm good. I have to take out the Gypsum if I add wollsonite, too much calcium which in turn can lock out other minerals.

Indoor farmer has a $125 min for free shipping so I've been adding the bags of minerals to reach the $125 They have a bunch of sht and I've read about them all but some are just for organic

Ya, I wasn't sure but Amzone I think has the stuff Or similar. Its just re searchable at indoor farmer. I've just been playing with this Ai sht and asking questions on how my mix should work

Is using general Hydroponics nutrients Cal/mag,Micro,Grow,bloom,Diamond nectar, Koolbloom and hyclean mixing Promix,Azomite, perlite, yucca,Wollsonite in autopots growing cannabis a good mix of soil & nutrients

and its not looking good, Either Ai is wrong or??? Its a long explanation so I don't want to fill this page but use Ai mode on a google search and see it if you'd like. I'm going to remove azomite and try the search a few more times

I could not find any on Amz that's why I googled and found it on Ebay same with the yucca.
Pretty much done with my orders, not sure I will need anything more and prob got too much as it is lol.
Got a $50 credit for Amz and gave it to wifey to use. She was happy about that and even tho it went over by $13
I punched it through and hope that calms her down a lil when my orders start coming in.

My search found no problems with the nutrients listed but gave a discrption of each and how to use and what it does.
Not to sure I needed the Wollisonite but the yucca should help.
It liked the Azmonite, Perlite and KB no negatives on anything.

When I put in Sunshine mix #4 instead of Pro Mix it gave a slightly dif answer.
Also expanded on the order of nutes going into the mix.

Mixing order: When preparing your nutrient solution for the AutoPot reservoir, add the supplements in the correct order to prevent nutrient lockout.

Add any silicon-based product first and allow it to dissolve completely.
Add Cal/Mag.
Add your base nutrients (Micro, Grow, Bloom).
Add other supplements, like KoolBloom and Diamond Nectar.
Adjust the pH.
pH management: Maintain the pH of your nutrient solution between 5.8 and 6.5 for optimal nutrient uptake in a soilless medium.
.

Ya, each time I put in my items I get a bit different results. I ordered the Wollsonite but I don't think I can use it from what goggle tells me too much calcium with all of my ingredients but the rest look okay.......With my water being well water I don't need to adjust the PH as google says. No chlorine in my water to Fk things up, I don't know if you'll be able to go without adjusting your PH but Sunshine Mix should have buffers that'll help stabilize it. I wanted to add the Wollsonite for its Silicon because I don't use any in nute form, although I have a full sealed bottle of the stuff I'm afraid to use. My water works well with what I add & I had issues with silicon supplements in the past not mixing with my nutes properly I was hoping a soil supplement would do the job without mixing it in my water....eh onward and upward...or in my case sideways.

I'm thinking I'm at 8.5 weeks in flower, at 9 I'm dimming my main lights and starting up my blues again. I seem to remember the guys used to swap out hps for metal halide for more blue while finishing.
I'm set at 77 days to finish, it looks like my Grape skunk is finishing faster than the rest. I may have fked it up a bit by hitting it too hard with Koolbloom dry the first time I fed them it at 6 weeks.

2 days later I saw she had lost her luster, instead of being bright she looked almost dead like, the shine was gone. I re read my KB packaging and I'd over fed , Not much but its strong stuff and I'd fed 2 tsp/6 gal....1/3 per gal and it should have been 1/4 per gal or 1.5 tsp instead of 2. I locked her up.

The others are thriving with it. They are more Sativa blended strains that could obviously handle it but the Skunk suffered a bit

I hate them lockups and I've sure had my share of em'

I'm looking at my seed bank now to choose 5 seeds to grow.
Yep 5 pots and one is the 6.6 XL funnel type pot. Should be here today along with my nutes and wifey's stuff.
I've got to kinda do some research on them seeds I won to see what's what.
I do like the White Truffle alot so that might be one. Really dense buds it had.
I almost needed a nut cracker to bust em up lol.
I'll be poppin em soon as I decide.

I’ve never had to add perlite or vermiculite. The rest I’m trying this go with Gaia Green.

I liked SSM#4. If it was still available I’d grab it. ProMix is what I could get cheap that I know others use so it was my best option at the time.

I use ABS Greenworld VPW30, cheaper than Promix. Home hardware sells it here. I found that out of the bag mixes the mix compacted in my pots, squeezing the roots??? anyways I add 30-40% to really loosen it up but that makes transplanting awkward because the roots don't hold the soil intact with so much perlite.

THis ABS Greenworld stuff has always been a bit less expensive and is as good or better imho

I put in 30% in my pro mix Last time, but when I searched on AI it’s said to put in 50% same when I searched SSM4.
And I thought 30% was a lot

Off the top of my head Promix has between 17 & 23% in it already so adding 35% to each mix I add 3 -4 gal perlite - 6 gal Promix & 2 gal worm castings but as I read now my synthetic nutes kill any long lasting effects of the worm sht. Still I think it helps a lot in veg though before feeding. Its probably the reason I don't need to feed them until they're almost a month old.

Wow, that’s a lot of worm castings more Than I thought you would put in. I think I put 1 cup per pot of soil idk maybe that adds up to the same.

Yeah, I never thought to add to what’s already in the mix and the 35% would make it a lil over 50%.

Got my XL 6.6g AP pot today, Wow it's a lot bigger than the others.
Not sure where I'll place it yet.
Took a pic next to the 3.9g one.
I could put 2 White Truffle seedlings in there. They are so short It might work.

I think Pipe Carver would squeeze at least 4 plants in there !!!! LOL

I think you mentioned that soil before when I couldn’t find SSM#4. It was more $$ here iirc or I had to order online as no local vendor. 🤔

Right now I'm thinking of these seeds.

Snow Daze Haze ( Capt Red Beard, Thx Granny )
AHL (Afghan Hawaiian x Laos x Jamaican) (Seed Supreme)
Triangle Kush x Devil Driver (Greenpoint)
Tangi Dream ?
White Truffles x 2 ( B2ACG Genetics, Thx Gramp ) - I might change this one, not sure yet.

I'm not sure who sent the Triangle or Tangi but Thanks.
I looked them all up using AI and I think they are mostly a 50/50 blend.
Sativa was what I looked for this time but next time I am doing Indica.

A lot of hermies with those greenpoint seeds

I'll switch that one out and put Runtz in there, thx.
Ya I've tried them twice now with hermies both times, I thought it was me the first time. I have a couple packs I'm leery of using still. Nice exotic names but I think that's the problem. Untested crosses just shipped out to make fast cash.
