Grove Bags ??

So far the grove bags have been great, the few I've checked are curing perfectly no hay odor at all, I'm sold !
6 months later the Grove bags are still great! The weed's not dried out at all, it's still fresh, odorous and flavorful and the big stems still have to be twisted to break.

With all the jar burping that I've saved, Grove bags are the greatest invention since sliced bread!

ps. I kept them in the fridge

I have some experience with these bags now. Meh...zippers fail. I was very careful as this was not lost on me when I read about it online.

My next harvest might include a side by side comparison, using bags vs jars.
That's one thing I noticed re: the brand I happen to pick, they sealed like steel traps! They also reseal great, I'm going to reuse them, I'll add the link.

I was going to open one for the first time, put the bud in a jar with a hygrometer and see what they were actually holding the humidity at?

I might do that on the next ounce bag I I take out of the fridge and open for the first time since being sealed to see what the real numbers are

Man I opened up some grove bags that have been sealed for nine months. It was so/so weed so I just put it away. Two strains. When I opened them up I was astounded at the smells that were not there when I put the buds in. I think some terpenes take a long time to cure/mature and those grove bags do all the work!!

Free, are any of us truly free.....lol...I demand you to use Grove bags with the shitty seals at $5 each or you ain't kool....lol......some days the weed hits harder than others...
These things are freaking awesome! One of the few newfangled items this old schooler approves of! I don't know about other brands just the ones I used, they did a great job 🏆

I have 25 -30 used ones and I've lost the being impressed part. I was a fan then the zippers started ripping off. I had some bags dry out I though were supposed to keep the RH stable in. I have to add 2 - $5-.$7.50 humidity packs/1/4lb bag and they don't last long. I'd like to move to a better storage/cure method. Cvaults are too expensive. I just looked on Amzon for Vacuum canisters and there are some starting around $18- $20 for a 1lb coffee capacity. Cdn. I have a few items in a cart I'm going to add 1 or 2 tonight I think....Christmas and all,

I didn't even know you could use them twice! 23 bucks for 50 bags I can live with that

The next one I get out of storage in the fridge I'm going to put it right in the jar with hygrometer and then we'll see the reality about them. At the rate I'm smoking it won't be long 🤣

This bud is moist, I have to cut the fat stems, can't snap them, and they smell just like when I put them in (with no bodeva packs). It's holding the humidity, I believe, where it says

People are storing weed with Argon in special jars. The future is now.

This is how I'm going to start storing my weed, just trying to decide which color... View attachment 120446
A couple guys here have invested in freeze drying units.
I never heard about the argon till grump mentioned it, but a quick search brought a cannabis product up first and to me it makes sense.
The container in link is way too small for me, but the idea seems solid and simple.
I have herb from first grow back in 22 still in my freezer.
Mandarin cookies I think?🥴

My hash weed is from back in the beach house it's been in the freezer since 21🤣

There's more coffee and weed in my freezer than there is food!

Argon seems to be a part of having weed around here, I’ll ask if theres anything ground up and find it argon!

I found these last year or the year before at one of the Amazon resale sites. You know the ones that sell the crap from China that was returned but not worth sending back.

IMG_8127.jpegIMG_8128.jpeg

A bit bigger than a Boveda but heavier. Each pack has 5 inside so you need to use all 5 at the same time. I used a pack or two when I realized I was going to have more surplus than I needed. Worked great on the mason jars.

I got two 100 pack bags for $3 each. Not sure what the real price is…

Amazon used to have them but no longer available. IMG_8130.jpeg

All preppers are very familiar with these! 👍🏻👍🏻 that's a great deal too!

Please review and share in detail. I am/was a fan of them too. Now three broken zippers later, I probably won't repurchase. I think an actual vacuum jar might be best. It will pull moisture to the surface, from the middle and that might greatly help with curing!!!

Please elaborate in detail. Hmm...
Here is one example I found.

Huh? Please elaborate in detail. Hmmm...
IDK about using cryogenics but I've used wine fridges I bought used off Craigslist, a mini fridge found near a dorm dumpster, and I bought a Bodega cooler which is basically a portable electric fridge/freezer.
Of them all, I really liked the wine fridges. No frills and only temp was 55 but also no compressor that adds condensation so with a fridge or the cooler, I need something to fight condensation

Basically Argon is has a higher density than air. You just spray some Argon into your jar and, as it settles, it pushes the air out the top. No air = no oxygen = no oxidation.

That's the "science" anyway. I wouldn't go through those lengths unless I was storing pounds for an impending apocalypse.

I've been following what everyone is doing for storage. I've had a couple of zipper fails on the one gallon Grove Bags that are opened and closed multiple times. So far, the overall convenience of the bags outweighs the seal failures. I just fold the tops over and slap a couple of spring clips on them.

I think my storage environment is advantageous, though. I store the bags in a wardrobe in my basement. The humidity and temps down there are pretty constant and near cure targets. I suspect cure conditions have played a bigger role in my early grow efforts producing end products have exceeded my expectations than anything about the grows themselves. It was shockingly easy for me to hit very close to the dry/cure targets that @Stoneyluv shared with me. A few tweaks with de-humidifiers to handle the periods of extremely high humidity have been minor bumps in the road. This allows me to move storage improvements down the "to do" list a little. There's room for improvement, but nothing urgent. Feeling pretty lucky about this part of the process.

I don’t, found a much better way to cure, store and keep terpines and when you finally come to the same conclusion, “feel free” to look me up and we can discuss the better options
Do you have a thread on here sharing your cure and storage methods? I'm sure that, I'm not the only one who would be interested in seeing what works for you. [Nudge, nudge 🤪]

We really are not free.

Every piece of media we consumed is constructed to a purpose

Everything we do is influenced by another mechanism

Freewill is an illusion, it's like propaganda.

Idk im kinda fuckin drunk, and I'm going through shit.

I'm mad, I'm furious, I'm pissed off, im sad, im depressed I'm hurt, I suck humans suck, blah blah blah ignore this, venting.

I've not personally used them

For now I'll stick to jars, till I see a problem and wanting to fix or advance that context or science or topic.

AI "Operation Mockingbird is an alleged CIA program from the Cold War era that aimed to manipulate American news media for propaganda purposes by recruiting journalists into a network. It is said to have influenced various media outlets and their reporting, although the extent and details of the operation remain debated."

This is probably just a wild conspiracy theory, and it's probably just a coincidence that 95% of ALL media is controlled by just six giant corporations.

As long as they can keep the people divided the uni-party can keep doing what they're doing, because not enough people will notice what's really going on.

No that's established fact, I thought./think.

that is what is realistically happening, atleast specifically, contextually, here in USA, and why not other countries?

No thread. I do two ways for dry and trim. Wet and dry. What I do for curing and storage are the vac canisters from spider farmer or herbs guard, mainly the spider farmer cause of price. When I bring buds to the table or short term storage i use the cvaults . When I’ve used grove bags the zippers have failed and buds are dry and rusting ( losing color) in 60 -90 days. The other thing with them is after ordering the same bag over a couple of years the plastic is different and nothing like what I originally started with. So when they talk about their patent, what bag are they referring to? No where do they show any science examples of how well they perform, they just tell you it’s patented . My goodness you can get anything patented if you want. Look its cool if you like the bag thingy, but their are plenty of equals and they come in at about half their price.
