Blueberries are budding out well.
Strawberries are beginning to grow and bloom.
Artichokes look ready to begin tossing chokes but nothing yet.

I planted potatoes a couple weeks ago, asparagus, onions and garlic today.

We’ll get some tomatoes and zucchini when I see them showing up in the store.

The pomegranate tree is beginning to leaf out.

Cactus and succulents are just waking up, most of them anyway.

Cactus and succulents are just waking up, most of them any

I had much better seed starting results this year and ended up with over 100 tomato plants - 9 or 10 varieties, many peppers - 8 varieties, 3 types of eggplant, 2 different artichoke varieties, I think 10 different squash varieties , 2 amaranth varieties, painted mountain and Hopi pink corn, 3 cabbage varieties, 4 basil varieties, kohlrabi, sweet potatoes, potatoes, 2 types of onions, two types of bunching onions, radishes, lettuces, cucumbers, watermelons, , spearmint, hyssop, rhubarb, wormwood, mugwort, lemon bee balm, painted daisies, statice, strawflower, snapdragons, zinnias, everbearing mulberries, all started this year. I also have thyme, oregano, sage, catnip, sunflowers, calendula, chamomile, 4 o'clocks, morning glories, petunias, 3 other mulberries, 2 kinds of figs, 2 kinds of grapes, pomegranates, blueberries, raspberries, loganberries, strawberries, goji berries, dragon fruit, lemon, blood orange, pears (none this year) apples, peaches, plums, apricots (no fruit), a cherry tree (pollinators both died so no fruit) Asian pears, 1 olive tree, 2 kinds of currants, 3 of gooseberry, blackberries, and a collection of succulents and cacti, plus quite a few wild herbs. strawberry guava, pineapple guava which is self sterile and solo and bush cherry with same dilemma. Most of the fruit trees and shrubs that needed chill hours are fruitless due to no winter.
