you're so right about the grow inflation on prices and add the word hydro and it goes up even more!! ridiculous! and the fact that it's built to fail after warrantee is just straight up bullshit!

you ever look for a slightly used one or maybe open box on ebay or something? all my meters were bought used.

Yeah.I’ll go in the room later and get it and bring it inside and have a play around.it’s an easy fix but has me stumped why it didn’t go off I’ll check the days on it that I’ve programmed .it’s been running 4 yrs without changing anything but it’s funny after a grow and not using it I’ve got to select on auto or auto or something then it’s right…..
Yeah too right it’s bullshit.I’ve even told my local store owners that I can’t even support them only on a few selected items .for eg a silencer fan they wanted 640 and the same one from a big company was 469 .small shops just can’t compete with the big guys and there prices are too dear aswell.probably half the shit comes from kung flu virus land.
I don’t think I’d trust an Aussie selling something lol but I actually never thought of looking on eBay..

Yay..fixed that timer…what was it…I can’t remember …..I think I had to select on auto while light was on..ummmm.errrr…anyway it’s going

I have been winging it since I have no pen to read ppms the last week but I do have like a 6 yr old truncheon and that’s reading 0.2 so that’s 100ppm.when I bought the new hanna combo it was reading 170ppm to the truncheons .2 ec.that’s a big difference .I’m actually not sure if it’s even working propper so I’m erring on the side of caution and keeping the nute solution low..it’s easier to fix a problem with underfeeding than overfeeding so light feeds it is..they are only babies so I’ll just watch there color for now till the new pen rocks up hopefully by nxt mon.12 there but only need 9..I might take the spares down the road and plant them in someone’s front garden for something to do

Group shot.in 70/20/10 ,coco,perlite,coco croutons this grow,by plant mechanics .shops havnt the cyco coco lite 70/30.
for some reason.. spose to drain better with the croutons added.well. can’t see that many lol.i will b adding chunky perlite to the mix nxt up pot for even better drainage and for lots of air pockets for the roots..

glad o hear it was something simple.. i think i have a timer that does that very same thing, auto depends on if it's on or off to run the cycle right. i have a timer on a car jump pack charger that does that same thing.

i don't know Max, i guess i stink or something.. people keep leaving, most of the staff has ghosted us, donations keep dropping.. i'm so thankful to Steamroller for paying the difference every single month! i guess i was so focused on the technical side of the site for months that missed the social part falling apart. i let new members in all the time but not many sparks anymore. dont even really know where to turn Max or what to really do about it.. advertising costs a lot of money that i don't have. it sucks watching it go down for sure, i take it personal.

I thought hydroponic company’s ,shops would give you so much for advertising (sponsor) there gear on this site..not the other way round.like with lights a company gives you a light to do a grow.or just advertising ,same with using there nutrients,new lines coming out etc.the list is endless..i gather there would b some kind of written contract done but without them controlling this forum.I know moe red wasn’t keen on it.
I’m on an Apple ID tablet through Telstra on a plan per month.it just says on the 3rd page Threads below have not been updated since your last visit.that’s it

Traffic is down across most cannabis forums as it's somewhat dying out. Too many factors to list. One example, cart vapes being cheap is far more appealing to an apartment dweller than setting up a closet grow that person may have done 10 years ago instead buying that cart vape.

I'm still here because IMO, growing weed is becoming a lost art but there seems to be way fewer people interested in doing it.
Some are getting into it with so much misinformation they fail right off and never try again.
Lightly used grow gear is for sale everywhere and it's value is near worthless after it's been unboxed. I've stopped buying and selling it for profit and that was a nice 20 year side hustle for me.

I'll always respect this site for at least trying to do without sponsors. It's a slippery slope and they will try to put this forum under it's thumb.
If a grower has an issue with a product that sponsor will force a ban to keep it quiet. I've yet to see a single sponsor of a forum that wasn't predatory and misleading to members of the forum.

Your 100% right..seen that shit over the other place .it’s very similar how this site started from mites from a pollen chuckers plants

It hasn’t quite taken off here yet what’s happening in the states but there is some big grow ops not far from me and it stinks up the place for miles.atm you can get it on prescription.but you have to keep seeing the doc for the prescription and my niece was on one and it was costing her 180 for 10 grams.that was a few yrs ago...you can get oz on the black market for 140 for bush and couple hundred for indoor..so you can see its still cheaper to buy from the black market.how long we have before it’s legal .well could b 4-10 yrs away I’d say..

Yeah it's an art that doesn't interest everyone, they think it's too hard and with all the misleading stuff i get it

I've tried to get friends who were struggling with indoor grows to come on. Get advice but they don't. Instead when I asked my friend what's going on he tells me he needs seeds for something that he can't mess up

I love it, I've always loved plants in general and absolutely love growing my own weed and being independent on that front and others like mechanical work.

All sites I have ever visited are slow.
Fish forums, car forums are all really just like this forum no matter the numbers.
They may have 100k members or be like us still under 1k, but as far as active members the numbers are in the twenties on the highest volume sites now.
We have a good core group, and I hope more of them come back and visit in the future.
I appreciate all who still visit just for finding this a cool place.
I also appreciate those who help to support this forum.
Not really looking for or interested in sponsors.
We'll get by hopefully.
