Day 24. Up potted into there nxt pot.in around 12 days time I will up pot again and they should b in the flower room by then..the grand opening .they are gonna love there new room.I’ll have to try and keep the girls away from the stripper pole.

Girls seem to b settling in nicely.actual fact I think they couldn’t wait for the bigger pot.they are perked up better and even leaf temp has gone down without changing any parameters at all .I’ve put the light in there and another pole for the fan at the right rear.i might put in couple more like that ,i think the curtain rods and brackets work quite well don’t you think..getting it down now.all what’s left is make a stand for the dehuey,do the passive ducting ,put a couple inkbirds in there and seal the light leaks to the door.if you wanna know what the 5”ducting is at rear that goes nxt door to the veg room..just need to make the rear runoff trays legs high enough so that ducting is under the tray..not this Sunday but the nxt is the grand open day for the flower room so I’m well ahead of finishing by then..man building a room(s) is awesome but expensive lol..later I will inbuild some heavy duty magnets around inside of door frame to seal better and stop the doors bowing abit

Got some wierd kind of mutant plant here growing clusters of leaves from the top side branch and another growing like a sucker branch like it’s a topped plant.it has 6 leaves growing real close together.get a look at that top lol.2nd pic..…i love weirdos like this.I’ve seen it before but usually the plant sorts itself out and goes back to 2..she’s a whorled plant .man this will grow into one cluster fuck if I don’t nip the shoots of but I gather a was going to anyway as all lower growth will b removed..I’ll take a cutting off this and give it to a mate to hold it for me while I decide what I’m going to do with it.this plant 3 leaf are all joined together like a ducks foot too.

These drain trays look pretty good eh, and the best thing the pvc joiner and pipe from bunnings hardware fit if you want to extend the legs.that’s something the other square tray I have doesn’t do.will take a 15 ltre pot too.the kits come with a 5 gal grow bag.if you just want to use it as a tray without draining it and sucking it out with a vac they will hold 2 litres of run off .so if your using say 5or 6 litres every feed with 30% runoff that’s 1.5 to 1.8 litres …perfect.well done marshydro

Day 27..Have a sick plant in there.dunno what’s wrong with it as the rest look great.i think it’s choked on an coco coir crouton

Not feeding sicko tonite.somethings up in the roots I think..it can’t b the enviroment..look at the others..def not nutrients either so i will see what it looks like tomorrow..I might even flush the coco if I see no improvement tomorrow lights on..the others are really starting to take off now and that mutant wierdo girl her side branch has caught the top so I’m not even sure how I will top that one.if I do the main top that side branch is going to overtake it,if I do both she will turn into a real mess and will need extra cleanup in the guts to get rid of all the unwanted growth.i have an extra ft in height in there now so maybe I won’t top at all..I will see how they look in a week from now when I flick the switch in the oven…it’s too late to order the trays I need in veg for the runoff to go into so I will put the trays from the flower room under them and suck it out with the vac.just need to get some rubber caps for the T sections on the trays…spring is in the air here.the bird are chirping and the suns shining .

Mine hang off the tents inside pocket. But I forget to use them 95% of the time.

I’m a little ticked my new progressive transition glasses don’t darken under the LEDs. It’s one of the things I was looking forward too when I got them.

I always thought leds emit low levels of uv …half the time I walk inside with them on and when I go back out I forget them..ones I have are for cmh-led..good ones aren’t cheap but anything in aust right now ain’t cheap.

Well not feeding the sicko done zip so I ran a couple litres of water through lights on to see if that helps.then gave it a feed ..top leaves look like they are sitting up better 6 hrs later .if it doesn’t improve soon I will pull it out..I’ve told it that too lol.i know they listen to me ..

I think that plants deaf….im gunna whisper in its ear .snip snip …that should scare it…the one on the left just dewarfs it.can see the middle one has the secondary branches catching the top.a Danny devito back left .short but looks good ..there is a 35mm piece of soft wood pine under it to lift her up..

You could try re-potting the Danny in fresh medium, and see how it goes.

It looks like it’s just starting to recover now.when I think back to when it stopped growing was when I up potted it and gave it an generous amount of white shark..that’s def not why it stopped as all the others had the same.the one beside it isn’t growing aswell either but the rest are flourishing .I’ll,def keep 2 extras nxt time and not give them to a mate.this new room runs soo much better being a ft wider as more air can circulate between them and seem more happier late in veg than before.I’ve had the finned heater in there so it’s exchanging air more frequently than the little tube heater was.at the end of lights on they aren’t droopy anymore so there dli could b increased and lower the light a little.I’m running 3 deg C lower lights off atm…. Lights on temp 25.7, exhaust fan cuts on at 26.1 deg c on the inkbird . 22.8 lights off ,exhaust cuts in 23.2 ..rh is between 52-64% feeding 410 ppm with about 50 ppm of cal mag in that.phing between 5.95 to 6.05.giving the sick plant 50 ppm less..

Time to up pot .that front left girl is drinking like a full blown alcoholic which is great to see.but a litre isn’t much though for a gal that size.so it’s getting drybacks last few days..gotta b careful with that that the salts don’t get washed out and dry and cause some problems down the track..I will put them in the flower room tonite but will veg a little longer to make up for the 2 under performing plants,but not too long lol..I don’t want a jungle in there but always does better go do something .clean the pots ready and mix in some extra perlite and water the cococoir to runoff.I’m going to get a cement mixer one day .i need a bigger tub lol.

Day 35.up potted the 6 good ones that needed to b done.the girls are just starting to go asymmetrical and are showing there sex.
There’s a plant at the rear that’s still good just short…that’s Danny haha.then we have sicko and it’s friend that’s not growing like the others..first time I’ve had 2 not grow well for me…shit happens i suppose .I was due haha..about 2 inches the difference between those 6 in height..pretty happy with those.
Now seems I have a few that aren’t pulling there weight in I will veg them a little longer to make up for it…room is running great.temps up to 26.1 atm rh is 61% ,dehuey is on standby ready to kick in if needed.finned heaters on 450 w..I’d b buggered if I didn’t run those two .lights at 28 inches to tallest one.i might lift that up a little then let them grow up to around 20 inches away…..pics.

Kicked out the struggler.lol.it’s not going to have much so it’s just taking up space and nutes that can b better served for the good ones.

One thing this room takes a lot longer for the exhaust fan to get the temp down and rh under control…the rh wasn’t dropping enough and had the fan turned up about 40% and I’m thinking to myself in there why aren’t the vent flaps opening up more to allow more fresh air in..I checked out the 2 filters I have that stop the mold spores coming in and they are only rated at 270cfm…..ahhhh…so that’s why.took them off and instantly the vent flaps opened up more and exhausted the room quicker..they are only 6” filters but there’s two vents.i went 2 vents so it’s easier to allow more air in running an 8’ exhaust so it runs neg pressure so the fan doesn’t have to work hard.. .the filters work but it isn’t reducing the rh down quick enough.i will struggle big time once the girls are big and bushy later on so i will have to make a box to cover the 3 inline holes( ones for veg room) to room and use some kind of material that lets air in easy but stops the insects getting in there.I might have to get a bigger dehuey too.i have a 350 watt one now but the rooms gone from a 5x5 to 1.7 w x1.8 L .i just went. Little wider so the girls won’t b up against the walls.I’m not using a ft at the front ,that’s for the finned heater and fans plus a little standing area for when I’m in there..

Had a look at the roots on that sicko plant yesterday .the roots wernt that nice fuzzy thick white Color instead they were like dried up noodles lol .but there was 4 new long roots growing from the plant where it was starting to recover ,but it was too little too late.i up potted the other sad one and it was the same scenario but roots only growing down one side of the pot and the roots hadn’t grown from the last up pot,so I gently got rid of half the coco back to those roots and repotted it..im now thinking maybe it was too much white shark but this has never happened to me in the last 5 yrs doing the exact some thing. Couldn’t see anything in the coir through a microscope and I couldn’t b over watering cause you can’t overwater 70/30 coco coir /perlite.if that was the case the rest would b the same.I’ve just noticed tonite my dehuey is only 220 watts when I thought it was 350w.lol.no wonder I struggle with rh from midway through flower.I’ve noticed the sensor to the dehuey is up the shit too cause the inkbird and the hygrometers are within 10% but the dehuey is showing 20% + the difference .when inkbirds saying 51% the dehuey is at 30% and shuts itself off.i have to set it at 30% lol so that’s going back to get fixed .I pulled the brand new one out tonite I’ve had for a couple of yrs and the tops broken loose lol.both are under an extra 24 month replacement care I paid extra for..damn..they don’t make stuff like they use to..going to wait for a couple more nodes then I will flick the switch..I should have a nice bag of weed just before Christmas.nothin better than Christmas weed

i just picked up a new pack (no more jars).. they're like balloons now!!!! the pack comes all inflated with air... no more scoops either, cheap ass'!!!

And now sickos friend went backwards .you think it’s something else..I have tried this different bagged coco/coir this grow.it has chunky bits od coco that hasn’t been mulched like the rest. It’s 70/20 /10 coco/perlite/croutons..it’s got me beat.

was the new brand rinsed well? chunky bits could maybe hold some hidden salts? i just don't have enough experience with coco but i do know it all comes from sri lanka and they don't have any fresh water sources.

I did run some water through just to wet it.i put it all in 2 big pots then wetted it till water started coming out.then up potted them without disturbing the roots .spose to b .5 ec out of the bag .dunno what ph was…I can’t get what I used before or why both hydro stores changed but I guess it is because they can get it cheaper .so I will get the coco I used from the mainland nxt time .i still have a bag the stuff I used this time.maybe I should do a check of the runoff and see what it actually is and pick out one of the funny looking croutons in the bag and add some water to it and check it’s ph after it..

Yeah they do don’t they .i will set them up properly one day to drain away so I can collect the runoff.

thats a good idea Max... take a handful or so of the crotons and then another sample of a handful of loose... measure the two and see if you get any difference.

i assumed you were just putting a saucer or something under the drain for now? you mentioned about raising some up and leaving some down. might be tough to get a tube to flex enough. can't wait to see what you come up with!!

No I didn’t check the ec..I’ll check the ec of runoff tonite and compare to the healthy ones to see if there’s any difference..
Gotta work it out .nxt grow could do the same again.

They hold abit hey.the 15” square ones hold two litres easy.they even have a deep end at the front so you can check the ec.
