Actually, I think you're mistaking ABS resin for TPU. ABS cannot be ran in the A1 and it's toxic so it needs the enclosure and exhausted. ABS is awesome but I think it's a bit much for the home printer to get into on the hobbyist level. TPU is no more dangerous than PLA or PETG and can be used in the A1.

Dude if' you're scared of TPU by all means don't use it.
What you need in ventilation is the same as other filaments. If you're unsure or scared, use an air quality meter near your printer to know exactly what's going on for all filaments when your printer is running.
You can have the same type of filament but one be much more toxic than the other. This is part of why I don't buy generic filaments and use authentic Bambu lab. You can often smell the difference before it even warms up.
The room where my printer is located was chosen for it's ventilation so my printer literally exhausts to the outdoors and operates in semi open fresh air. When I run scented I want to close it up because it smells so good but I don't.
It's not just for TPU but all filaments are toxic to an extent. If you sit there and huff the thing while it prints I'm sure it will be a problem but common sense like not using the printer where people are hanging out is the best idea no matter what filament you have loaded in the printer. If your printer isn't already in a ventilated space it should be.
Some people set up a printer like a grow tent and run the exhaust to a window if they have to use the printer where they sleep and live.

I just want a few degrees drop so I can go out and make hash and rosin. Too hot out there and the ice will melt too fast and just be miserable. If it could just get below 90 I'd be fine.

I set fantasy every Tuesday right after I do the trivia so I don't forget it.

I'm not sure about the fast frames but I'm happy I've guessed right and got 20 each time! I missed that second week but got 20 every other time from that. That's the one I know will get me over 15K when it comes close at the end.

I had terrible germ rates on Trance Plant and SSDD. I thought it might be me but other breeder gear came up strong so IDK...maybe those seeds are old or something.
The cream rises to the top and here, twice now in this compete for my business test, Anthos gear has shined. So I think it's time I start giving them more and more attention and moved them to the front of the line.

I've been meaning to build an enclosure around my printer. i really wanted to just buy one but the ones for my model are way bigger than i can put there and would have to move the printer. still thinking about, i have another room it would work good in but then i would have to make room for the spool shelf as well.. i wouldn't want them separate.. so for the sake of not moving the rack and shelf i went and bought sheet plastic to make an enclosure. still sits new in the box!! i'll most likely cut it with my bandsaw.. i have a brand new blade for it so it should cut perfect, thats still new in the box yet too!! hahaha

but i would really like to get that done before the new year. january hits and it's so cold in that room and the printer has to work so much harder. thats something i'm sure you never ever have to deal with!! hahaha

The cannatrol machine arrived today and I have a free Saturday morning and afternoon so I'm kinda so antsy to do something tomorrow!
IDC what the weather is like. I'll get up early and have at it!

There was a kitty litter box already in the space where I set up my printer so good venting came built in
I read a thing once about 3D printers putting off lots of CO2 so I thought about sticking it in my grow room but turned out the CO2 was next to nothing.
The air quality index gadget I had read bad on and next to the build plate but nothing a few feet away. Kinda feel like a person needs to be locked in a small closet with a printer to get sick from fumes but some filaments are sporty. I have some foaming filament I'll only use if I can have all doors and windows open during the print.
Too cold actually can be an issue if the window is open and cold wind is blowing in at the printer but most of the time a fan near the printer is blowing air out the window.

Yeah there's the Gibbs thing but also no fine for Blaney but the excuse for fining Stenhouse back for the KFB fight was because he stewed on it? WTF was Blaney doing then? The odd double standards are so lame. Then that weird deal where Heim wont be eligible for ROY but the same things keeping him out were fine for Gibbs?

This was a 6 strain live resin haul over a year in the making.
The Supafreak I added in has been on ice since last Summer and the freshest addition is Romulan and a strawberry haze. Other strains include Pineapple Express, Montana Silvertip, and Bac Tao.
The aroma inside the bag bucket was something sent from the ganja gods. It was holy medicinal grade AF in there. Hash so rich I wanted to lick the bags like cake batter.

I combined 120 and 160 mic but kept 25 mic separate and gonna see what happens with live resin hash in a curing machine

I like the fit in my drying tent!




It takes the space of two hanging racks but I can fit a lot more weed in there than I can those two racks.
There's still 4 more open racks for hang drying if I need or want and still space for the herb now dryer.
I also do live freezing at harvest so between this space and 4 large cvaults for flash freezing I doubt I'll run out of space for harvesting.

My room is warm so I'll test every bit of that max room temp 95 thing. Maybe not that warm but my room is 88-90 most of the year.
My current curing box, an electric cooler, will drop down to freezing temps for long term and seed storage so I'm hoping dry and cure in this machine then long term store in deep freeze.

Almost a daily jackpot of points this weekend!
Powerball was loose for a lot of people last week so we might have another 49 or 69 coming off that. Somebody finally got the big 25K points off it.

Cup and Oriliey both have a 30 streak coming and then there's 4 perfect season bonuses for all 3 series and fantasy so that's 2600 in bonus points coming soon to us. Just gotta hit our marks, take care of our tires and fuel, we'll be at the finish line for the win!

I'm guessing things may go a little faster not having the cure machine loaded full and being a warm room.
It says add water to the sponge after 24 hours but I'll check tonight and maybe add it then.

I haven't gone thru the DIY cannatrol thread or looked to deep into what you built in your box but there really isn't much to it.
No compressor so no major heat output is nice.
All I can really tell is that it has excellent control to balance the warmth with humidity to not get too cold and too dry or too warm and too dry. Like cold is great but if it's too dry it kill terps so I think it can moisturize the cold and not do that.
The mechanics are very basic and not much to it so I think it's money maker is it's control panel electronics. I guess the heat is peltier?
The small squirrel cage fan inside is just a $10 part off ebay and the air channel could be 3D printed. Not sure what else there is too it but doesn't seem like much

Our win was ugly but it's a win and I'm happy!

I was skeptical but now I'm not



Usually after harvest and to dry I need to cool the whole room down with an AC to get 70 degrees and 55% RH. It takes about 550 watts to do it as well and it stops the grow room production until the crop dries and the room can be warmed back up to grow again.
Now, with this micro climate the room can keep on growing while this thing does drying duties and since it's door is solid, no worries about the grow lights being on. If I got the old model with glass door I was planning on blacking it out with a wrap or something since it would be in the same room as my garden.

I wasn't sure if it could get cool enough in a warm room but it damn sure does! 68 in 90 degree room is good enough for the ladies I run with!

All the instructions said the room temp mattered, but mine has been in 90f also and done exactly what it was meant to do.
When I first read what the directions said I really figured it was not going to work where I put it and I would have to bring it into a controlled space.

Yeah he's in Vermont and I've ordered both direct and from GLG.
My next grow will be almost all Anthos stuff because it's going to be a charas grow and I tapped him for all of his chara stuff and more. I believe these chara strains are haze hybrids with all the glory of good haze but a faster flowering and finish time.
You get more freebies going direct but there's stuff he has direct not at GLG and visa versa.
I dropped Mexican Beach Weed because it's description was spooky close to ARC other than name and source.

What's stood out so far is really good looking healthy seeds and a 100%, speedy germ rate.
Consistency is the big deal because seeds pop together and grow together at the same solid growth rate. Lots of vigor out of the gate so with that happening and other seeds popping slow or not at all, inconsistent, pig tails while being set vertical, the Anthos seeds start getting more and more attention by not doing any of that. Of everything the past two multi breeder/source drops, Anthos has been the only 100%.

Working as advertised is nice in 2026 because that's rare, and a bonus is it's weight and size.
Being light as it is I have it up on my table so the bottom shelf is waist high standing next to it. My back is happy because I was thinking it would need to sit on the floor.
If I could add or change anything I would add the ability to do a vacuum cycle so periodically thru the different cycles you could pull a vacuum on it for a day or two then go back to the process just to throw in a zero oxygen option for custom processes.

As-is though, what I'm seeing is about as perfect as it gets when it comes to drying water hash. I know they made these things for flowers but I had a feeling it could help me a ton with hash too...




I think I'll cut the dry at two days so tomorrow I'll take it out and press and fold it.
Will make balls or cannolis then put them back in the machine on the cure setting.
The little bits that fall off have been sacrificing themselves as samples as I test the process. 2 rice size bits have me tore up and all kinds of red eyed

Early returns off preflower calyxs. You know that one big fat calyx that forms right below where the cola begins to grow? These seeds are from those calyx and I will keep them separate from regular flower seeds. I think there's fewer than 10 per plant and that's being generous.

Of all the ways people have tried to compare him to Dale Sr, moving Blaney was it for me. I've watched enough old races and docs to know exactly what KW is talking about haha! Sometimes it didn't work and he'd look the fool too wrecking himself or getting moved further back, just like Hocevar sometimes, but those times are often forgotten in the legend.
I just had to my #3 magnet on there since murdered out came standard. Not gonna sticker bomb it....yet...so for know while it's on probation it's magnets only.

I wish I knew where my Piecemaker was at! I have the inlay but can't find the press so I use my rosin prepress mold. It might be in my BHO box which is pretty much a time capsule of extraction stuff.

IDK if there's anything special about them. I like to observe all the things these plants do and that calyx seems to have a purpose unique from the rest of the flower. I have an opportunity to isolate those seeds and know more about them so I'm doing it.
That calyx is the first to show pistils and determine sex so it's also the oldest. Left alone, it would be first to drop so seems it's the one the plant devotes prime energy to while the thousands of other seeds are insurance.
It probably gets pollinated first with the freshest male pollen and is often where a hermie trait will first appear.
Seems to also be an indicator of ripeness for the whole plant.

I want to know if it carries more stability then other seeds...a truer rep of parents and genetics...and what's the male to female ratio on them.


There's haymaker storms rolling thru this week so I was debating leave my mamas out in it or cover them with a tent.
I opted to leave them in the rain to wash them down and finish them off since they've never been rained on during this drought.

I plan to dry them to xtra crispy and run the flowers in my tumbler, using it loosen up all the seeds from veg material but also maybe get a little extraction off it at the same time so I want these rains to wash them down a bit for that.
None of this flower is for smoking, just seeds and maybe some bonus hash but not counting on it.
They're close to being ready so I huddled them up and mounted my patio fan to the nearby pole because I don't want them to mold or soak the seeds in the flowers

lazy rainy weekend falling into Fall...

I'm happy with my Summer homegrown seed haul and feel I've got a good return on some investment as well as got a good refresh on and old fave.
Dug out all the select early fat beans to keep them separate from the bulk haul later on when the rest of the plants are overripe and ready to drop seeds.
I'm not liking the look of any of the weed seeing spots of maybe pm on leaves and bud rot spots so I'm just getting seeds out the top flowers and tossing the rest.

For each batch of select seeds I put them down on a lens wipe that has iso on it and rolled them around a little to clean them up and ready for storage

The difference in each one trips me out especially Motown Lockdown as dark as watermelon seeds but other seeds in the same mama are a lighter and more normal color...

No more pucks needing to be wrenched down to press...the weight of the cylinder and better quality hash does the trick.
I can't even really use heat higher than body temp to press but it's not full melt. I'm probably in a very small minority on this but I feel it's possible to over-extract and sometimes to get full melt means losing good stuff along the way and I'm not sure full melt status is worth that.

This hash is more old world made with new world equipment. I took Frenchy's washer, Bubblebag Dude bags, and a custom drain thru stack bucket design idea after the wash that gave my yield a huge boost. A mix of both mechanical and hand stirring then sifting before drain worked a treat too. Pretty much took a lot of different ideas and techniques then combined and adjusted to actually work for me.

The swirl in there where it gets real light in color is full melt and could be extracted on the rosin press so with all the broken heads and husks mixed in it's more corrupted but also more full body and colorful.
Since it's hybridized after the grow, the effects of both sativa and indica are full throttle and not muted like an extract from hybrid weed. And since it's live, well that's just another engine in the rocket to space city!

I can enjoy in the Isprie rig but it leaves the rig dirty.
A dugout pipe old world style made from glass, a rock, or antler could work too but my fave is to pull off a piece (it's like taffy) and roll into a grain of rice sized bit and tuck inside a joint...basically a downsized cannagar without the oil coating.
The doob will burn slow AF and be so damn medicinal potent it's not funny. Effects last about 3 hours and takes around 30 minutes to burn down.

Next on the menu is some rosin pressing maybe this weekend. I like to play with rosin and my freeze dryer, seeing what comes out of it.

I also have 49% Bovedas and oxygen absorbers for inside the binder




The binder hold 40 vials and I got a Rubbermaid Brilliance to keep the binder inside then the whole kit goes into the deep freeze

The vertical germinator and 3D printing seed sprouters is evolving here, moving away from using paper and instead using hydroponic sponges and either a brick or tray to support them.

My basic passive design is a simple brick with coned holes and it floats in a bath of water.

My active design is still on the printer and it's a tray that sits on top of a heated reservoir of water aerated with an air pump keeping it fresh and moving

Hydroponic sponges seem to be the same peat sponge stuff Rapid Rooters are made of but maybe a little more dense from what I remember about RRs.
The size and shape is made for Aerogardens and AG knockoffs. Any existing support is for those machines so really there's only little baskets for the cones and no trays for seedling flats for traditional gardening.
That's where a 3D printer and Tinkercad comes in

Put the prepress sleeve over the ball, add the cylinder, and let gravity work it down at room temp or maybe warmer than that. When gravity is done I lean on it with more pressure then chill and remove the paper. For now, I'm leaving the hash in the Dalecure because it's doing a fantastic job keeping it preserved and ready to smoke at the same time

I like the cell insert that came with the smart starter so I settled on making adapters for the hydro plugs to fit into the cells.
Gets rid of the paper while also shaving down a plug for earlier visible roots and action. It also increases the depth of a cell by over an inch and lifts the seed about an inch as well

Also found ball carb toppers for the Ispire dabb that allows it to go without the silicone rings.
I like my scented rings and all but there's something about clean scientific glass too.
I milked it up to show how the vapor stays inside even without the rings to seal it

sounds like we do the exact same thing but with different tools... i printed a round press back when i saw all the hype and wanted to try without spending $50. it works ok but i don't really use it much at all. when i press without a bag i always start out rectangle.. feels weird to me putting a round puck on a rectangle plate!!! haha it's my internal struggle, not yours!! haha for samoles i like to use the very first mold i bought, its awesome to put a few grams in!! and then i use a bigger one but it's a little to big for me, i always end up slicing the puck length wise and then pressing that. a long skinny puck fits my plates better. just a pita slicing a pre pressed puck with a sharp knife, i scoured a long time ago looking for the perfect size and never found one. i ended up buying a milling vice and mill bits to carve one out of aluminum myself... i never tried though. but i got the tools!!!

I kinda see my plates like I do the build plate on tinkercad with press plate to spare for smaller squish runs.
I also do better with smaller bags and 2"x2" pucks than I do 3" and 4" bags and monster pucks that take up the whole plate. I think tendency is to max load every time but the more I make rosin the more it's like painting many thin coats instead of one thick coat in a way where two lighter loads are better than one heavy load for me.
Sure a 4x4 plate would do fine but a 5x7 is nice for that extra space if I need it.
It's also always bugged me how prepresses seem to always be a weird fit for plate. There should be a standard there

you know i've always been jelly of those big plates you guys have.. i can't even look at 3 or 4 inch bags ever.. with just a 3" wide plate i am under such handcuffs with size and you guys play on a whole different field than i do with that. 2 inch bags kinda work ok for me but i have to be picky on the brand so it doesn't stretch to much. under 2inch bags is where i have the biggest success with them. but filling a 1.5 is a pita, the opening is so small on those. i'm gonna start pressing my latest harvest real soon... i've taken a couple sample already so i know its gonna be tasty for sure!!!!

Football is taking a backseat for me right now with Brisket running well. Then I got Oliver and his thing...saw a new vet and just confirmed everything so we've got him on steroids but he is terminal. Like having a cancer patient on cocaine right now.
My nephew is also coming to visit me and that will be very interesting. Like me, he's the blacksheep of the Bandit clan and the fact he's coming alone is something else I wasn't expecting. Just out of nowwhere that popped up. He's the kid who worked at FoxFarm out of HS and got his growing legs there.


Got some action going in this thing but does need some tuning.
I'm also gonna try plant based sponges. They're half cellulose and half coco I'll cut to shape and bore for a seed.

Probably cause more damage to them then that's worth plus there's no point as they grow thru it anyways

Supplies came in after a nice harvest sale at HTG so now with new snips in hand, gotta sculpt these plants and flip them tomorrow

What should I name her? She seems territorial and I bet she likes to eat fungus gnats

thats sumthin with your nephew huh?? thats cool man.. it totally reminds me of when i was like 21 or 22, drove down to georgia to see my "cool" uncle without the family for the first time... wooo boy the memories that are rushing through my brain right now!!! i asked my aunt where i could score a bag, she hooked me up with a guy named Wormy.. sold me some weed they called the georgia dead.. or at least he did. we left my uncles place, lit it up and headed for disney.. ten miinutes down the road we had to put it out we were so torn up.. swore it was laced with something!!! haha we knew it wasn't but we joked.. man on the way back through i hit up wormy for a couple oz's to bring home!!!!! haha

Oliver sure needs thoughts and prayers.
I found a good vet though and with her understanding how to medicate him, me keeping any infections that pop up tamped down, and probably one good Costco rotisserie chicken per week, we're gonna make his final weeks or months as comfy as possible. Still very active and loves the park and doing dog stuff but I know the meds have his pain dulled to do it.
He's had a really good turn on these steroids and antibiotics so that's been promising. It's cancer though and one day you can feel like maybe there's hope and the next it goes full tilt evil and is unpredictably vicious in an attack and spread. So yeah, fuck cancer.

My nephew might get here and wanna stay!!! I wouldn't blame him though. It's not that where he's from is far...it's that it's also remote.
IDK if people realize how freaking remote anything is to anything in the northern California mountains but if you wanna fly anywhere, you pretty much have to drive to Sacramento to get out of the fucking area.
Shit might as well be Alaska but yeah he got out of there and went to Nashville then to Vegas, back to Nashville and now wants to see what up with Austin.
He's an artist, pot grower, farmer, rancher, vagabond, nomad, hippie, etc and aint even 25 yet lol. Parents are conservative AF now and he wanted to chat it up more but we had to keep low in Vegas for his Mom's sake. Now he's making the solo venture out here.

It's really one day at time with this grow and what happens next but there's a very loose plan playing out..

All I want is 6-9 females and would even be fine with 4. Any fewer and there will be unused footprint under the light.
To get those 6-9, I drop as many as 13-20 seeds and see what comes up.
The space is set for 9 mature plants but until then, can fit up to 18 immature plants.
After flip, it takes 3-10 days for males to show.
As the males show, they're removed and the remaining females are set on top of coco slabs for more root space then they grow to fill in the voids as if the males were never there.

The footprint during veg swells to be overgrown and bursting at the seams but once males are removed the footprint resets and only female flowers fill it in

I've sculpted nearly all plants to grow into a 4 head pitchfork with intent to grow four large to midsize colas per plant with little to no side branching to fit more plants into the footprint.
Hard to tell but they've pretty much on the mainline express now. All those tiny shoots are what I'm after here. They look small now but later, they'll be monsters!




This is why I prefer Osram in my gear for veg. Not many lights can stack nodes like CLW






And since Hashberry is a landrace I wanna make more seeds, I have plans to keep males indoors with a pair of these and my two site coco hempy system if any keepers show

Oh gosh don't remind me of the possum nightmares!!!! I still have PTSD and to this day we still put up the baby gates because of that. There was a juvenile raccoon in the house once too and that was almost a home wrecking disaster at 6am.
Few years ago he got ahold of a possum and killed it. Big fucker too. Ollie got that pit in him and it comes out when he's protecting the house and his mama. Otherwise, he's a gentle teddy bear. Nicknamed him MamaDog because of the way he cared for the kittens when they came home, that's how gentle he is.
Such a ladies man too. He's motorboated so many ladies in bikinis at the beach he should have to register as a perv. The things he could get away with man. I'll never forget one lady he picked out of a crowd sunbathing at the beach...she was stacked like a Kardashian, fucking double DDs with just a string covering them, and everything, and he got all up in that shit deep dude! I was like oh shit but she was cool with it! I was just "Ollie you are a fucking legend my boy. I would get so arrested for doing that but you go and get you some dude!!!" She just laughed her ass off hugging him tighter. Lucky dog that day.
I wish I had my camera with me Friday because he was hanging with me as I was collecting my outdoor plants and seeds. He got into his hammock and just layed there watching me with his old look of wisdom and happy to be out in the Sun on a cool day. He looked amazingly well too other than a massive tumor on the side of his head lol.
He even howled at a siren and caught a turkey treat but so much of that could still be propped up by steroids. One day at a time. Ear infection looks about a billion times better though too.
After the game I picked up a roasted chicken for the weekend. He got an angus burger with bacon and cheese from P.Terry's Frida night. Those are all his faves.
He's made some good turns and I've started to measure the tumor because it changes almost daily. Seems to be receding and changing shape, IDK, but looks better and I wanna get her to reevaluate in another week or so when and if I need to refil his meds. I also ordered some hemp derived RSO for him.

I still think Blaney looks like a civil war officer. Colonel Ryan Beauregard Blaney of the 12th Calvary Penske Brigade from North Carolina IDK if my nephew would get into racing but I know he love photographing racing. Kid is a wizard with a camera.

Yep I still got the fellas to cull. I have some fem seeds but am ready to run regs from now on and use the fems to tilt my favor and guarantee a minimum amount of females.
I don't wanna keep males every grow but would be nice to have a way to keep one still in the room and not upset it too much with relocation.

IDK what happens with seed sales after December. Everybody has an opinion and nobody really knows. IDK what any new market will look like so I'm just going to my default of regulars but with a stable of genetics I know is as good if not better than 99% of the shit out there to keep everything in house and sustainable. Male plants and the resources they take is just an acceptable thing for me.
But now wanna nail it down to routine process so in case a breeding project shows itself, it can happen with no effect on the sensi harvest.

One of the fem Stinky Pinks may get cut loose if things get crowded. I'm pretty sure one of the classic random hybrid filler seed GC likes to throw in packs is in here.
It's not bad weed. Not great either, but it's also not what's supposed to be on the menu and there's only so much of that stuff I'll keep around. If I'm in a place where I'm culling males and the weakest females and only using the best females then that's where I wanna be.

Gonna toss this out there too....I'm about 99.9% sure I'm gonna make an attempt at growing peyote. Don;t really wanna do it for taking peyote but would love to say yeah, I grow peyote!
This is where I'm getting the live buttons and I already have stuff like airpots and grow lights. I have this small tent too so maybe I can make a little dessert tent that grows peyote lol.

I'm really happy with the majority of the herd so far and how they've taken to being sculpted.
Hashberry is #1 priority to grow and make seeds but my best and most interesting are the MBW specimens. They smelled like cigarettes when I cut into them




They're getting the business end of the whole enchilada but only around 60% spicy. Not even jalapeno level.
Once pistils show then I turn it up to Pepper X level heat and initiate pirate ninja laser protocols




I wasn't too impressed with Samsung gear in my grow room but they've changed my mind in my living room




Waited a few weeks for this KFB sticker and thought it would go on my truck but found a better spot on the grow room wall.

Thanks Max. I hate to think about life without my pal because yeah I know we all have that one that stands out and is the best dog ever and I'm so grateful Ollie is like that in Mack where they hold that special place.
He's taken a turn for the good to great here in the last few days and it has me tripping out.
Long time ago a vet diagnosed my wife's cat with cancer and gave him an expiration date of a few weeks. That cat lived 8 years past his date.
So IDK, but we hope and pray the vets were wrong. 3 vets pretty much said the same thing and really, I would too if I were them because it was so bad looking. I've also been measuring his tumor and it's gone from looking angry and wants to explode out of his face to tamed down and about 1/2 the size it was.
This morning's shakedown for chicken and meds had me feeling really good about him. I know he old and all that but he aint done yet. He's got a "Fuck Cancer" bandana on the way he'll be able to show off at the park too

I used a cool little pocket sized label maker where I use an app to make the label and my phone sends it to the printer with bluetooth and prints the label.
Makes it all ez to read and cleaned up

Huge haul on the Poison and Cherry X.

The 80s DP is close to landrace more than it the DP hybrids we find in the USA. The flowers were small and chrome and very aromatic and perfumey. 100% sativa
Motown Lockdown is a very potent purple Afghani. Pretty much Gorilla Glue before there was gorilla glue.
Arvala 7 is an alien and OG potpourii of every alien and OG one could ask for. It's a mutt but there's some show dog in there waiting to come out.
Cherry Jawa Juice is Arvala but hit with a Cherry Heartbreaker male from Lightseeker. Should be an indica dominant frost machine.
Thai Fighter is pungent fire that reminds me of late 90s OG Kush.
Tangie Banana 313 is a mutt from runts. Tangie Banana from Cosmic Wisdom x Motown Lockdown runt male. It might be the baggiest of bagseeds so who knows what will come from the handful of beans it spit out




I'm already making plans for next Summer and another seed making and breeding project. I'll revisit Satori and some Vietnamese stuff and I finally made an order for some freaks and then some.

By the time the seed banks close in December, if they really do, I hope to have a Noah's Ark of genetics.
These weird strains like freakshow will be grown to make extracts. They're prized for terps more than potency for me so I like to take these freak terps and add them to cannabis that does not have them. It makes for a much more potent combo of something like lemon & skunk than it ever will thru breeding.

Feeling groovy about this idea too. No problems with a Motown Lockdown test germination either

Haha yeah I have a few to spare that's for sure! I could package some up and get them to ya. I got seeds thru Aussie customs once by hiding them mixed in with beads for costume jewlery.
It's just a weird time for weed and genetics in the USA. Between changing laws, grifts/scams, fake names or hijacked names and "breeding", the selection here isn't what I'm looking for anymore so it's better I just make my own seeds and curate the genetic pool myself.

I have some ideas and guidelines in how I'll manage my breeding.
Nobody in the USA is looking at strains high in THC-V and it's a problem IMO.
THC-V is more like CBD in that it counters the euphoric effects of THC-A. It will be in the trichomes so you can have something that looks insanely frosty but lacks the euphoric punch due to the high levels of THC-V. It's a very minor cannabinoid but it's a major fucking asshole because guess what...high THC-V genetics are the link to hermies indoors.
The THC-V seems to be crushed by outdoor sunlight so there's something there between artifical light, THC-V, and it causing hermies.
High THC-V strains need to be isolated from the main cannabis gene pool and treated more like hemp IMO.

Another thing not many are looking for in their pheno hunts are triploids. Triploid prone strains are probably the most reliable way to actually increase potency thru breeding in modern cannabis.
You need a scope to find them and it's a long search but you're basically looking for two trichome heads growing from a single stalk and for it to repeat as much as possible on that same plant.
It's rare AF but if you see that, it's a keeper.
I don't care if a plant grows 80 point leaves, turns Smurf blue with glow in the dark roots, and has a NYC skyscraper for a cola. If it's not a triploid, it's not a breeding keeper here.

Right now, I'm making IBLs and mutts. There's no true breeding and that may not happen for a while but when I do, phenos low in THC-V and most important, triploids will be sought out for the F1s.
I'm fairly certain everything is stable since it's all older stuff. Much of it being around long before hermies hit the scene so low THC-V may not be an issue for me the way it would a cookie or gorilla strain made later than 2017.
I'm excited though man. I've always felt the best seeds come from the seeds we make from the packs we buy so that's the road I'm traveling.




Took some time to unbox the mini greenhouses for indoor males today or as I like to call them...the jack shacks
I think two males is on the ambitious side so to simplify, just keeping an option open for one male if he's a keeper




I stuck a newly sprouted Motown tester in there with an ecowitt sensor. The gh has that stinky plastic smell I hope isn't bad for the plants and off-gasses here in short order. I ordered it back in July and shoulda unboxed it back then to let it air out. So far so good though.
Next step is to secure it to the table with velcro after I know it's not toxic.
