I just put an LSD and Green Crack into solos.
I have tried germinating 7 maybe 8, of the seeds @Zen_seeker sent me and haven't had any luck. All 7 or 8 have sunk, no crack, no tails, nothing. Even in a paper towel or soil they just get soft and gross. I dunno🤷🏻

I can say I don't believe I have ever seen a plant show sex so definitively at 4 weeks under 18/6. Your experience may be different, but generally I don't see clear sex signals until after the flip. Sometimes weeks after the flip. Obviously genetics is the difference.

I thought -and I could be wrong but mature vegged plants with alternating nodes will definitely show sex , I personally never flower till this happens , time Carrie’s but I always sex under 18/6

Yup alternating nodes shows maturity but not all will show sex with preflowers but most do and the time it takes to do so varies

Can you look at the photo and tell me if that seems normal? At what age would you say it is normal to have not preflowers, but that level of development.

Imo not normal… but stress on a plant may do it. Not saying thats the cause but its one thing that can do it. Genetics could be prone

The breeder knows how to get a hold of me if he has an issue with my original post or the wording used. Im growing a few of his strains and have full expectation for them to be killer. I didnt get banned from the farm because of him. If anyone has an issue with my comment take it over to my grow diary. This is what the Farm wants us to do, and quite honestly, we are better.

Back in the days I got involved in "discussing" science and politics online, every draft response to someone I heartily disagreed with went sort of like this:

You drooling moron! [Explanation as to why the person is wrong.]

Then I'd go back, delete the first sentence and post. It's amazing how starting with "You drooling moron!" got it out of my system, and how removing it made my post look like I was a model of polite discussion.

Not normal , stress of some kind? As far as age I guess I’ve never really kept track of I had to gues 6/8 weeks , and not necessarily preflowers but sex shows
 
Things I learned here today:
#1. I doubt I'll ever see sex in veg due to the short veg times I run. I try to have a grow done inside of 100 days from dry seed to harvest so that means less than 30 days of an 18/6 light cycle.
Two main reasons for this is high cost of electricity and being illegal.
It's not a good idea for me to have plants loitering around. I was always taught to get a grow done as fast as possible and get out of there. That goes back to days of guerilla growing in the hills and it's carried over indoors.
With electricity and warm Summers, my bill can get high. 18 hours of lights on just piles on. I've even got so stingy on that bill I've run 16/8 and 10/14 light cycles just to trim it down.

#2. Be nice to staff. Running a forum qualifies every staffer to be a certified cat herder which is a great skill to add to their resumes. So be a good kitty, use the litterbox, don't poop in a shoe, and if you catch a rat, leave it outside. Bad kitties get Steamrolled.🚂

#3. There's no crying in ganja farming 😋

I missed all/most of this dealing with life the last two days. So from my perspective I’m lost but catching up.

However when I post more than a paragraph I do try to read it over before sending. I lose my train of thought if I correct mistakes or worry about exact details. So I get the post written then go back and fix.

Sometimes I realize I don’t need to send it and just delete the post. Other times I change it.

I try to read it back in a monotone. So no emotions or expectations are inflicted/injected into the text. Doesn’t always work but it’s a process that helps.

Anyway, back to playing catch up, as you were.

Haven’t checked all my message alerts...leaving any steamroller ones for last...🤣

I have noticed issues with word meanings. I just did a cursory search for dictionaries of cannabis terms and didn't find one that would be helpful to a forum like this. I created a glossary of my own when I began participating in that other forum because I didn't understand the jargon. I recall spending several months becoming conversant, and I'm still learning. So, learning the language was my first challenge in my acquisition of growing skills. I wonder if developing and posting a common set of word meanings would be helpful to others.

several pages ago i made comments on people being butt hurt about the other site.
i just wanted to say i was NOT trying to be rude or insult anyone here.
the post i made was not typed/spoken the way i meant it to be taken.
i apologize to each and everyone one of you fine people and mentors that i mistakenly offended.
hopefully i will be welcomed back as a responsible and productive member.

I find JJ to be elbow deep in the admins arse over there so I gave up, dude sent me 7-8 clones in a big box which I took note of as I un-packed it and sent it back to him w/Trainwreck he said was "Peppery" a trait he was looking for from that cultivar. Sent me seeds form ILGM also. I can't be worried with administration, I do my best to behave anywhere I seek knowledge, it only logical, get it? SSgrower

Man I almost forgot this thread existed. Feels like so long ago we all got hammered together.

Got nailed pretty good with a fever I couldn't kick this week. Back at it now, and I have your vertical germinator sitting on my desk waiting to get dropped in the mail Monday. Sorry for the delay.
