I noticed one of my severe paranoias stems from my ash trays. I use taller mason jars. Am I safe to put a lid on it?

Even if I smoked using my ashtray the night before I'm always worried it'll just start a fire lmao. My doc wants to higher my anxiety medicine but I don't want that.

Putting a lid on a burning roach or hot ashes in a mason jar will put out the fire. No problems

Ok ty guys gonna test it for sure
That is one thing I do 100% of the time is squash my roach out. Even when buzzed my fire paranoia makes me focus on that task and I've burned my fingers numerous time making sure its out......I've a bad habit of burning my T shirts though.....

As I smoke and type ashes fall onto my shirt and ouch another fking hole.....as in today again........I used to burn our floor with popping seeds, flaming as they pop out, little round burn marks.....Them were the days...lol...

Fire needs three things. Heat, fuel, and oxygen. Take any of those three away and there won’t be fire. A lid on a mason jar would remove the element of oxygen.

I moved away from smoking joints a long time ago, when I found myself with fewer people to pass it to. Now that I'm back in a more smoker-friendly environment, ruining clothes has suddenly become the reason.

Any clothing I wear on the job quickly gets "ruined" for anything but work, so I can't have two sources of clothing ruination. I suppose I could smoke joints on the job and put burn holes in already ruined clothes, but my clients might object to weed smoke billowing out of my vehicle when I arrive on the scene.

Sucks when a physician wants to up an anxiety medication to combat common sense..
Just say NO and run away. Cap the jar 🫙..end of worry!

I usually set my finished doob on top of my grinder and let it fizzle out. I rarely dress up so most of the time I just ash in my hand and wipe it into my pants 🤣

I’ve always used a glass or ceramic ashtray and never empty them out in the evening.

Let them sit overnight to make sure no hotspots.

I learned that process from my parents that literally monkey fucked cigarettes all their lives and never burned down a house.

If you put back into the tube and close lid it goes out instantly. But I usually never have that problem because I smoke it to the end. 😀

Surprised the Bed Side Buddy/AKA Power Hitter was not mentioned yet.
Killer buzz and safe even if you drop like a rock from huge hit~!
You place water in the bottom inch or two when worried about falling a sleep or just paranoid.
Easily made with a mustard 'jar'.
