I was drinking some Yuengling Beer and got the idea in my head to cut the can apart and make a thin metal frame that could click into the body of the hygrometer and act as a clip so that the hygrometer isn't flopping around. I might actually glue the frame to the tent. Recycling at it's best!!!Cool. I’ve done that to two of my domes but stick to magnets for the tent. Believe mines only 600D.
You have a solid base or frame you click into or just the material holding it?
I saw someone hack a battery powered device by using a charger with the raw wire ends tucked underneath the dead batteries.Don’t see the pic yet, slow time. So easier to not reply.
I’ve seen your builds low voltage is easy. USB is between 3v-5v iirc. Amps are 400-600mA some a bit more.
Only hard part is the cord. Most are cheap wrapped thread rather than solid copper.
