Official SSHZ Contest #2- Opening day of the regular MLB season is next Thursday, March 28th. All 30 teams will be playing on that day.

Contest: Guess the total amount of runs scored by all 30 teams on opening day. Your guess can go over the actual total, and you would still win if you remain closest. Multiple guesses will get you banned. USA based winner only, but anyone can play.

Prize- smoke and seeds. Need I say more?

I may have been too hasty with the 3-1 odds offer. I did not consider cancelled games for weather, which could very well happen. So instead of 30 teams playing, it could be 26 or 28. My initial thought was about 130 runs, but 114 now seems entirely possible.

I figured 30 teams with about 4 runs each give or take...then took away a few runs for dud games....knowing multiple teams may score 1 or less while others put up 7 or 8...idk... interested to see I've never looked at such a stat

What's an average opening day? I've never followed this but curious since my number was deemed low what we would normally see?
