Been awhile since I have posted anything! Hope everyone is well and enjoying the finest cannabis.


The purpose of the 4 Plants Project is to explore and experiment with different growth strategies aimed at maximizing a legal four plant count. I am sure we can debate all day long on what it means to maximize your count, but I am focused on a balance of quality of flower and yields over time. There are many ways we can try to accomplish this and I welcome discussion if you have ever thought about it or even run your own experiments.

My first run for documentation is only running two plants in a 5x5 tent. To be completely transparent the time aspect for this grow will be difficult to judge because I started this plants way back in February and let them slowly coast without driving them for quite awhile.

I can go back and see when I did and extreme trim on them and then started driving them for sake of documentation.

I was just looking and realized I never even stated what strain these are lol. These are some freebie seedsman Tangie Cookies I got a few years back.

I have had many phenos of the same plant that the looks were deceiving about.

I have a cut of both. The one I think is the winner grew more vigorously, rooted faster on clones, and is growing bigger buds.

You are correct though, the smoke will determine the winner. I only grow for myself so yield is nice but I would much rather have something interesting and

Morning photo update - Tangie Cookies Day 32

Woke up - fired up some green gelato and just got to stare at the canopy while drinking some coffee. Really is a wonderful way to start the day. Then pulled out the camera and took a few photos.

Day 33 - Trucking along putting on some weight. Still dialing in the photos and the look. As the buds get better, I will spend some more time with it. Perhaps break out some flashes.

Also have spotted a few nanners here and there, cut back my light, temp and feed and they seem to be under control for now. Its late enough in flower I am not worried about them.

Nice work.......the Durban Thai X C99 puts off hermies to various degrees so be watchful. I had a buddy run a few plants and had a full-on hermie plant, covered in balls. And another that had a very minor issue with 1 of 4 plants he grew. Whether it was grower error or not, hard to say,,,,,

Thank you for the heads up, I will have to keep an eye on them. I know Mr. Soul seems to be transparent on possible herms on his testers so we will see what happens with these.

It will be my first time running anything from him so hopefully I am satisfied.

Day 56 - Still going strong - guessing I will harvest somewhere between 63 and 70.

Day 68 - She is ready for chop. Should run out of water tomorrow so when the lights go off tonight they may not come back on tomrrow.

I chopped them on day 69 and have dried and cured them. 38.4 oz

Not too shabby for 2 plants
