I just needed a little extra perlite.

the last few bags I've got on of perlite from them they'll have a few pieces of mulch or dirt or whatever the fuck - this last bag takes the cake.

Thy worse bag I've bought, out of about 6 or so totle, the little bags are only 5.97$ but still.

Should not have dumped it in my bin, didnt expect it that bad.

The harvest hero is dusty as fk but it has diatomaceous earth in it so thats why, so far ive been happy with it. Zero fungus gnats this run which has been awesome.

Back to the MG.
I used the MG moisture control shit in the blue bag last year outside, that stuff is trash! I had to water it 3 tikes a day and keep it wet always. If i didnt, it was a hydrophobic nightmare within hours of being dry... the worst soil ive ever used. Only good thing was its not even hot enough to burn clones, which was cool. I expected full on N toxicity til almost death lmao.

Hit the soil with some DE, thatll take care of them bastards. I never realized how well that stuff actually works on gnats until just recently. Sulfur, pyganic and DE are my go tos for pesticides/fungicides.

Best smoke I ever grew got fed with miracle grow I was a broke kid at the time. Read a couple horror stories about it but there wasn't much at the time to read on it. It was already laying around.

I just did a real watered down dose I think about 1/3 of what they recommend. Stopped feeding about halfway thru flower and just used water with about 3 tbsp of sugar to the gallon didn't have molasses.

But yea it tasted fricken great, that's another thing I don't understand really they say above a certain degree you start cooking your terps...my tastiest weed no lie was grown with pos miracle gro ferts and outside during a heat wave...I'd come home after work it'd be 107 degrees plant would be about weeping then it'd stand up every night.....buds got fat as hell....taste was killer....wonder how come my terps hung around? Maybe I could have had more terps idk?

But that's true, I've never used MG again and haven't grown anything remotely comparable taste wise yet. May have just been the good genetics or something but just my experience I suppose.

That looks like shit, WTF, I'd be pissed too, send your pics to them with a well worded complaint. They've a big name and should respond with a voucher or something to apologize for their poor products showing.

I bought a 10kg bag for $50 CDN = $30 USA at a local seed, feed and grain store of generic brand perlite. Maybe you have a similar store in your area.

It must be your warm temperatures that invite them into the Promix, I don't get them here very often. If I get them its usually in old plants in my veg closet I miss treat by ignoring them. I'm a bit surprised my 5 month old reveg doesn't have any yet. I get rid of mine with fans and sticky tape, they never really get bad for me up here in the cold

Good. Garage is freezing since I got it a few weeks ago. Using old soil for the veggies ATM. ProMix is for inside. Got the fly traps but need the yellow stickies for the soil...jic.

I got a big ass bag, 120 quarts, on Amazon for like 35 bucks. Definitely dusty, but I've never encountered perlite that isn't dusty.

I think you can get it with or without nutes actually. The bag I bought has them and didn’t notice it when at Lowes. Got home and read the label closer, I ended up not using it.

It does. I just remembered the bag I bought and didn’t use is still sitting in the garage. Enriched with miracle grow plant food. No thank you. I use #3 perlite bought in bulk bag.

on another note, i've ran their salt nutrients in coco with great success in the past. most of their products are garbage, but if you use their salt nutes correctly (fuck their feed chart, use an EC meter) they can perform fairly well.
