Frosty is always good!!

(unless you live where I do, in which case the frost can fuck right off and spring/summer can come any time soon)
The sample tests have been stellar!! I can't even open a grove bag without the entire apartment stinking! Thinking the big change is to my much better drying environment, wow i can't wait for the next run. All filters are off right now so any smell just permeates the air space. Touching it is like getting super glue on your fingers it's crazy

Wondering if there is a connection between less light or light cycles in general and heavy trichome production, or if there is a trade off between weight and trichome production. Idk just rambling lol

That horticulture science nerd Bruce Bugbee has a few videos on this, good vids to toss on in the background while doing other things!

Oh he's the man! i need to check up on any new stuff from him the past year or two. I watched about everything i could a few years ago, love the science behind it.

Agreed brother. I think we all know & see a lot of the "broscience" that gets tossed around within the weed growing community, so it is refreshing to shed a little light on things when there are actual scientists with PhD's that are doing legitimate testing with our favourite plant. Not that there is anything wrong with the other approach or wanting to try different things out but for some of us we thrive on data backed research.

There was one vid he did on growing myths that is a good watch, another on light spectrums/DLI, he's had a few good sit downs with Migro and the guy from Garden Talk Clips as well.

He also did an AMA a couple years back:

Man I'm just in love with the end product, it's insanely sticky, just beautiful

Double dose, definitely going to do this one again.

I didn't really trim this before bagging it, i was in a rush to start curing before some travel a few weeks ago.

Frosty nugs for sure! And I kinda like the not-super-profesionally-trimmed-weed, it's a nice reminder that you are smoking home grown.

Yessir took a major break and just gettin back into gear couple grows ago. Things been all good so can't complain. Got married 4‐20‐2024 in Vegas, great times. We been together like prolly 18 years but I just needed to make sure she was the one 😆
You got any current grows going on?

Congrats bud!! That's pretty exciting news. Post some pics and some updates in your journal so we can check it out. And yeah I just got some seeds started a few weeks ago, still in the early stages but you can see updates in my thread(link in my sig). Massively downsized from what I am used to running but I am not concerned with yields at this point considering I maybe smoke 1-2g per week if I'm lucky.

Almost finished the big job, a bolt broke and now waiting for new bolt then all downhill

Can't remember who on here had the mini engine they were working on, i think @TomH so we broke a bolt and waiting for new bolt to come and finish this weekend.

This car is a money pit, but there is nothing left to drop money in now lol, every goddamn vital part under the hood has been replaced, except the high pressure fuel pump (knock on wood cause this is also high on the known failure list). Every part has a lifetime replacement warranty through ECS tuning, so at least I'll be ready for the next head gasket change in another 100k

Might sound sour, but I'm deciding to keep it after this work, she's so fuckin fun to drive, might be my lifetime project car, i do like the tinkering and now i know this engine bay like my wife's body 😂

After this is done i can start the next run

No, I don’t have a mini, but I do like them.

Real story, true story:
When I was a kid my dad bought a 1959 Hillman Minx Californian.

That was around 1962, the car was red but entirely oxidized, the front passenger window didn’t roll up/down. The rear door on the driver side didn’t stay closed all the time.
There was no stereo or radio and the seats were falling apart.

I sure miss that car.

My mini has some problems too lol

Used to have the rear hatch open by itself whole driving(short wire from corrosion, replaced), airbag light randomly coming up (location of srs harness is under seat and constantly jiggling loose), been through 3 thermostat housings that cracked(finally figured out exhaust pressure is causing this, which is why I'm doing head gasket change), no boost (loose vacuum line on bottom of engine came off, fixed now), radio works but LCD is too dim to read, sunroof is disconnected because of sunroof cables breaking is common so this eliminates the risk), man i don't know where to stop lol

Yeah has issues, but i fucking love driving her when she's acting right. Gets up to 18 psi boost stock, same power to weight ratio as bmw m5, active electronic suspension has sport and regular mode with button, and the best part, 6 speed stick

One day might do a Honda k engine swap down the road, if this engine ever blows up

Can't help who or what we love right? I still think about this 82 jetta i used to have, everything manual, even crank sunroof, she didn't have any power but was still precious to me, rolled it 3 times and was still running
