15 solo cups and no-veg

Something wrong here, putting my finger on it.

PPFD on this one?

One way to help narrow it down is bending it away from the electromagnetic radiation, seeing how It responds/ if it quickly tries to aim back towards the light.
I just took a reading and it’s at 527.
This has been the finicky plant this whole run, it’s sisters aren’t so fussy.

Its definitely got a transpiration issue and that is likely the root cause. Under any stress always reduce the light because light drives demand and transpiration

I’ll probably just end pulling it or letting ride as is. It was a bag seed and not worth messing with the rest of the tent over it.

There are two more of these in the tent praying. Would this be a phenotypical trait making this one light sensitive?
Praying is light stress. Typically when you see the top 2-3 nodes “praying” thats about the limit of light the plant can handle of light.

It depends in the plant but usually any more than that causes negative effects and stunting to the plant. If thats accompanied by swelling or discolouration then its a warning sign and not a good thing

Praying is actually very high transpiration rates which are directly driven by light intensity. As light is what drives transpiration

A slight V with no swelling or discolouration on the too 2-3 nodes is the ideal situation… but judging from the pictures they are definitely light stressed

Light drives it? not temp and humidity? so what, temp and humidity just allow it to disperse and the light actually controls it?
Well, temp and humidity govern stomata opening and some other things, but the actual "stimulation' or energy comes from photons hitting reaction centers in the leafs, chloroplasts, electrons within the chlorophyll, thus giving energy for photosynthesis, co2 and water into glucose? And sucrose?

These turn into excitons that transports energy between molecules in the leaf.

When these wavelengths are too intense/too much/ too long it "overwhelms" them. Too much energy.

Another cool thing is, quantum mechanics are involved, and that's why plant photosynthesis can be 95% efficient or so.

Light drives it. That why in the dark they droop and temp/humidity are less important. Eg you want lower humidity at night. Temp and humidity affect transpiration but light is what drives it

Blue light is greatly responsible for stomata opening

This lady is light this from lights on to lights off, at 100%
Shes damn happy imo.

So the higher the transpiration the more pointed up the stems will be and the more V shape it will be.

Swelling which is not seen in your photo is caused by transpirational stress. Eg light, temp and humidity are the main causes with root pressure also contributing

Yeah this may have been a little overkill on the praying. I turned the light way down to 5% to do stuff then like an hour later when I was done she looked like that.

Otherwise all my plants slightly V this run. Finally got the 4x8 dialed in i think.

You plants look great bro. Look at the interveinous tissue… its nice and flat (smooth) then look at the pics im referring to. Its swollen and bulging. Thats transpiration stress. Water is being trapped.

Yours are maxed but atill handling it

Definitely, keep smoothly sailing through

Just been trying to keep them happy.
Half dose feeds of Athena Blended every watering.
Been keeping the environment at 78-80°f and 50-55% since i started flower.
Lights at 100% about 2.5 feet above the canopy.

Is this still too much? This is the amount of praying I was talking about. The more I’m on here the more I realize I don’t know what I’m doing. 🫤View attachment 79216
When was the adjustment made? Need to give it a few days to really tell. They don’t look as bad in this pic. Is it the same plant as the last pic because if it is they already look better

I made the adjustment two days ago. This is not the same plant. This is what the other plants in tent look like.
