Just did a quick google, apparently the filaments are garage door springs. The bulbs are typically used on large movie sets. Talk about a midnight sun

When I was a kid, I had this paperclip and an available wall socket.

For a second or two, I think I saw a 20,000 watt light up close.

I got talked to about that one!
