2024 outdoor stuff 😶‍🌫️🫣

I don't grow veggies but would imagine most follow same protocol as cannabis.
Hence the tomato/herb commonality in ferts.
I use like 4-4-4 for my flowers early then just cause of herb transition like in flower.
Only every flower can be way different, compared to cannabis or most late blooming veggies.
🤷‍♂️
Yeah I imagine they're all pretty similar when it comes to veggies.
I kinda already knew which way I was headed, just wanted to hear some other opinions or nutrient options. Maybe something cheaper even lol.

I was gonna use the alfalfa pellets I have here from my rabbits but they take 30-40 days to break down and become active so I ditched that idea

i also like this burpee stuff too.. it's a heavier granule and doesn't get washed away easy...

the three things you see in that bucket is exactly what i gave my veggie plants... maters are luvin it!!!!

16 of those 20 autos are fkn male 🙄
How in the actual hell does shit like this happen to me.

Start 20 autos, 4 females...
Start 24 photos, 7 females...

Doesn't seem like good odds to me.

I'm also not sure if these triple cheese "autos" are autos, but if they are they're way more photo than auto.

The 20 regular autos I planted are 2 weeks younger and already showing signs of flower but these triple cheese are just growing away and no signs of flower.

Man you got a lot going on...
Yeah I might have went a little off the rails for a minute...
But i got back on track lol.
Took out all those males and let 2 photos die so now I'm down from 42 plants to 25 plants and 17 of those are inside so it's not as bad anymore lol.

Beautiful colors coming in already on this GDP auto from Cartys Collective Crosses.
She was pollinated by the purple sacked male I had.

I'm amazed that you're so far along in flower outdoors! Mine are hinting at it, but nothing that looks anywhere close to that!

They look awesome btw!

for the three years I've been growing, July 31 is my date in central kalifornia. I imagine your days are still longer than mine are here.

The length of day on the 31st is 14:06 here, I guess that's the pivot point for the plants.
Doesn't seem to matter about temp, humidity nor nighttime temps as it's the 31st regardless of being in the Bay Area where it's cool and humid or the foothills hot and arid with nights that are usually warmer than the days in the bay area.

I reckon you might have to trellis that bitch the way she’s growing those top branches @GoodShit97 I dug a hole for the pot.helps keep that pot a little cooler and if you get abit of wind.that was my enemy.

My yard is lit up from like 510am to 8:30-9:30pm depending on cloud coverage. So I'm still getting 16 hours of light 🫣😩

I can't dig deeper than about 4 or 6 inches deep unfortunately.
I keep the pot in the weeds so it's in the shade at least.
Believe it or not she was right in the yard when we were running 100 degrees and loved every second of ot

Quite a DLI the plants are getting in mid summer, man there is just no comparing sun environments to indoor environments.

Haha,I bet she was drinking like a camel.my yards pretty open aswell.my morning time is a little later at 10 behind the shed but other than that they get it till the sun goes down.

My outdoor plants are just so much healthier too. I've had issues flowering photos here every year, flower starts way to late in the year and then I get screwed cause of mold.

I think 14 hours is the magic spot when photos start to show.
Here in NY we get 14 hours in September. Everything goes down hill fast after that as far as night time lows and dew points.
I use this guide to see what outdoor hours really are. Could work wherever you live.

We just dipped under 15 hours.

That's about accurate, I don't have full on sun for 16 hours, but it's definitely light enough by 520 am to see for miles so I consider it daylight lol, and I get sun til like 830ish but it's semi light out for like an extra hour after that.
I'm going 8pm to 8am in a dark shed, then outside all day.
I'll have to bring her in every night or risk mold.

Definitely my last year outside with photos, it's too much work here.
