Black sugar 2.0, ice dream cake, drippin ain't easy and sapphire desire have popped and 4 are already in 5gal bags. Almost killed them while on vaca and trickle system failed to work. Doing a comparison on the self feeders for bs2.0 and I'd. The 2 small ones are dae and sd ethos seeds i purchased local with freebies. Other seeds from ole faithful Seedsman with freebies also...

Moving the last 2 over to 5gal fabric tonight and pray they take off. The others that almost died are making a comeback...

Everything is in 5gal fabric and the first 4 i almost killed are making a comeback doing well. Last 2 were put in last night and settling in. All fresh coco/perilite with bokashi, frass & dynomyco layered in 3 levels. Letting everything veg for at least 2/3 to get around 9 nodes before flip so I can do some lst to help them bushba little...

The 4 corner plants are about 7 nodes and will get pinched around 9. 2 in the center have settled in and started new growth.

Made a couple adjustments in preparation for the flip next week for 4 of the girls. Moved 2 plants that will veg for another week or so to another tent. Did defoliation and pinch with the need to probably cut the bottom 3/4 nodes for better air and maybe a few clones.

Which brand bases that you like the best?

AC Infinity because they hold more fluid, but don't like that the vents can't be removed to refill. Vivosun just needs a bigger base for the 5gal fabric to fit on better, but the vent is removable and easy to refill.

Are you referring to the auto fill or the little float on the side to let you know fluid level?

There's a float kit that's supposed to let a res water/feed the plants

Yeah, I seen that and all I thought about was a leak happening in 1 of the lines or connectors.

Ya, leaks and nowhere for water to go are why I still water by hand. Finding a soaked carpet floor would just suck.

I have a routine I stick to that works for me. Defo before flip, defo 3 weeks after flip and then around harvest. I go for the biggest/oldest to make sure flowers can get the light they need. I shoot for 11 nodes before pinch.

I do the same time line but selecting which leaf or branch gets cut isn’t always easy. By the third week chopping branches lower than 18” or so is easier at least.

My issue is cutting branches, makes me want to clone them. There doing good and even noticed them starting to show a little frost already.

Defoliation day for the last 2 3wks after flip. Had some big fan leaves and I think i will be cutting some clones from both tmrw morning...
